Check out RX+Plates for some really nice weighted plates. They now have Tactical games plates as well as crossfit weighted plates.

Nice review. The shoulder pads are a good idea. I'm using my normal fighting kit, so it'll be interesting to see how well a real-world setup translates to the games.
