This was the final song we did for the Early Access release, and functions as the credits for the Early Access part of the game. It was written almost 10 years after the first song of the game, 'Samurai Techno'.
Writing and recording it really felt like not just the ending of the game's story arc, but also the end of a long development journey that started with the Flash demo 8 years ago. If you played that version of the game many years ago, thank you for sticking around!
This track and level wouldn't have been possible without David who agreed to help us in our time of most need. Thanks David! Two weeks before release we had no idea if we'd be able to squeeze this credits idea in the game, and then one week later and after a couple of long Discord recording sessions, it was suddenly done!
Then in the final days before release, our programmer Morphious handled implementing the level and wrapped it up. Together with the backend of the level editor and credits programmed by other team members that made the level making process much easier, it was a big team effort that came together just in time.
Also if you found this one surprisingly difficult, that's because it's in 5/4 time! I wanted to make something that continued the idea of unusual time signatures after that boss level, but wanted it to still have an almost-natural rhythm but not quite. To do that we had this "1..2..1,2" rhythm going on through the entire song so you could get used to it even without consciously counting in fives.
David is one of those multi-disciplinary rare people who is both great at art and music, and immensely humble about it too. They did all the guitar parts with their Fender, suggested some nice little chord extension colours, did the vocals and produced it, keeping our original piano parts in. As a medical student, I really can't help crying when I listen this song. Thanks all the producers and composers for creating this wonderful game.

As a nurse and avid rhythm gamer, this game hit a little different for me. The atmosphere, songs, and the stories you told through this game has got my heart feeling a little heavy.
All I can say is thanks for this wonderful game and I hope to see more in the future
I love how this ending song is just a friendly goodbye after the brutal "Super Battleworm Insomniac."

This is the perfect credits theme. I'm so glad it was a playable track.
As a medical student, I always come back to listen to this song whenever I feel exhausted and worn out. Recently I've been feeling a little skeptical about my career choice, but this song never fails to bring me back the reasons I chose this path in the first place.

7th Beat Games, you never fail to impress me with your games. The early access was well worth the wait, and quoting a wise man about the full game... "I've been waiting for so long, i can wait a little longer"
This rhythm game is one of the best rhythm games out there.
Edit: I have just learned that the first online version of the game is 8 years old (as of March 2021), and Ada has been in medschool for 8 years, so that might be a reference to the old flash game.
I don't know if anyone paid attention to the small detail at the end of the new update. Despite the song not changing, the background of the final screen represents Lucky by containing Baseballs and the Catching Net. Nice touch subtley adding the newest Patient of Middlesea Hospital.

What a beautiful song and what a great ending to the game.
Playing this for the first time left me in tears and every time I hear it I can't help but tear up.
Even if I haven't been here for the entire trip that has been the development of Rhythm Doctor and I may not have waited for as long as others, this song leaves me feeling satisfied and I am so happy for everyone that has waited for years for the game to release and finally get to play it.
To the devs: eight more years of this might be more than what you can take, but you'll always have the community behind you.

So many of these tracks are beautifully emotional. My favorite was Intimate from back in the flash demo but man these are incredible. Thank you so much for this game its music, it deserves way more attention than what it’s getting.

The wait was definitely worth it, this game might be the best rhythm game that I've ever played (and I play a lot of rhythm games lol)
I love playing rhythm games and I have 0 clue what goes into music theory, so it's really fun going through the game learning these different time signatures. Even when a couple of songs got me stumped, retrying and repeating them only helped me understand some of the tougher and odder tempos. You guys have a really special game on your hands, I look forward seeing this game progress through Early Access and its eventually release!

I never thought a rhythm game would make me cry over one of its songs, but this song never fails to make me a bit teary-eyed at the very least. A friend of mine is in med-school and it reminds me of him a lot, but also the universal struggle of trying to live up to expectations, and how no one is truly alone. Beautiful stuff.
Waiting all this time has been absolutely worth it. Getting to the end was an amazing experience and this song hits my heart hard.

Thank you so much! Rhythm Doctor has made me reconsider rhythm games in a new way. Obviously it's important to be a fun rhythm game first but I love the story of the game too. It adds an element that compels my friends who aren't as into the genre to see what happens next. Wish you well on all your future endeavors!

i remember playing this game back when it was still a free browser based demo with just around 3-4 levels? and i loved it *so much,* the songs were so catchy and i loved the concept. i always came back to it when i wanted a smile.
just finished the early access version and my word- i was smiling like an idiot the whole time i was playing. the game has changed *so much* while still keeping everything i used to love about it. the second section boss fight had me losing my *mind.* the characters are charming, the story’s engaging, the graphics are stunning, and every single song is a bop. i’m so excited to see where this game goes from here, thank you so much for this lovely experience
