if you listen closely there's a noise you continually through this piece of music and it sounds like Alice's scream when you die in the game. I really like how that's included because it just created a extra amount of a twisted and tortured feel to the game and the train which is just so awesome and makes sense because Dr Bumbey put Alice through a lot so it just adds to the depth of the music

Creepy song...I can see Alice floating in the airs before her arrival to..the Infernal Train :D I remember this chapter,he's so mysterious and beautiful too. Now fog and dark colors coming...here we go...to the Madness!!!!
Surprising how wonderful can a game soundtrack be. Not as if it was the first one, but how a soundtrack can actually take the game to a whole different artistical level, not like some random games now.
Oh...my God. I love you so much. :) I love the difference between the soundtracks of the two games. The first one was just twisted and mad and screwed with your head, like you were actually battling through your own mind, but the one for Madness Returns is more elegant, subdued...like the game itself. I LOVE AMA. :)
The devs worked really hard to get that effect. AMA is about Alice's battle to win her mental strength, and AMR is her battle to win back her physical strength. Alice 3 would be about her trying to solve her problems and move on, but it won't be released :(
Well, the reason Alice 2 was so delayed was because it went through development hell, and it was even said that it would be cancelled. Fortunately, they got the green light eventually, so it's just like you said. We never know.
The song while dreaming about being sent to the absorbtion with my friends from a dark energy and being in coma at a hospital just like some sort of isekai anime.
Unity:Alice will NOT be our ending to the series, as unlikely as it is, Alice 3 might come out in 10 years like MR did when Alice 1 had no funding. Nobody knows what will happen in 10 years. In the event that it does come out, we do not want our story to conflict with American McGee's story, therefore Unity:Alice is going to focus more on events that occurred before MR, although we do not have any final plot yet. It will also feature A LOT of gameplay overhauls, playable demo soon :)
Each chapter in Madness Returns had the potential for a boss battle. (the giant robot, the walrus/carpenter, the queen bee (if there was one), the executioner, and possibly a final manifestation of the ruin. in order of chapters). The Infernal Train would've been a perfect gauntlet of replaying these boss fights Mega Man style, and would lead right up to the Doll Maker. Why these "bosses" were dismissed so quickly and easily we may never know.
Spike Rose i know I'm like years late but the art book they sold showed concept art and what was supposed to be in the game. However, EA was rushing the game for it's release so they couldn't do many things they wanted.
@@rubybates6502 Considering the publisher and how the original AM Alice had quite a few, likely rushed. Fingers crossed that Asylum isn't tampered with.
I know this is a random place to ask but, you know when Alice first enters wonderland when she is floating in to Vale of tears and speaks to Cheshire cat? Before the actual song Vale of tears starts playing, a different song is playing at that point, it doesn't play for too long but does anyone know what it is called or where to listen to it? Thanks

I hate to say it, but on the forums, American McGee, the guy who essentially came up with this series, said that Electronic Arts refuses to provide funding for Alice 3 because MR wasn't profitable enough for them (MR cost $3 mil. to make, and made a profit of $9 mil. go figure right?) Worry not though, go to forumDOTunityaliceDOTcom replace DOT with . it is a project I am working on with some other guys, we are creating a whole new Alice game.

just beat AMR and I didn't get to hear this song for very long. I want to try to get the original Alice for the PC now. I can't wait for Alice 3!! :D
