correct. i also thought these cars had some kind of dead lock feature. you pull the shifter into a particular position or push a button and that locks the unit into park. it can only be disabled with a certain code or pattern on the built in keypad.

@@wowplayer160 Not as complicated, but US police cars do come with a shifter lock button, that do exactly that, lock it from shifting. It's very hidden and not many know the exact location. It is know it exists, retired cop cars, especially newer ones, have them.

I feel bad for the farmers. Crops destroyed, fences destroyed, any animals that may have gotten loose because the fences were destroyed. Ugh! I'd be asking for him to come rebuild my fences as part of his sentence.

@kroanius8808 Still, he broke the fence, he should fix it.
The fences he destroyed were around fields, so they're more to keep animals OUT than keep them in. Also, there wouldn't be any cattle/horses there because its an agricultural field, so the farmers would want to avoid trampling and animals feeding on crops. Also like the other guy said, this was after the crops were harvested.
@@kroanius8808The first half of the field looked like it was already tilled and replanted, not to mention you could see what looks like crops. I could 100% be wrong, the farmer could have planted 2 different crops, and it just looks like it was sprouting.
@@BobbyTheScarecrow One field almost looked like it was growing but another looked like they chopped the corn for silage. It's hard to tell plus I live in Minnesota so I don't know when they harvest their crops

@4:30 Handcuffs work well on males because their knuckles are substantially wider than their wrists so it's very hard to get the cuffs off. Lots of women (especially girls) have knuckles that are no wider than their wrists so it's easy for them to slip the cuffs.
When they're whining that the cuffs are too tight, make them even tighter.
If someone is thin and young and flexible it can be easy to get their arms from back to front under their butt.
A couple of pairs of cuffs in line just above the elbows makes it harder.
Watching these heart-stopping traffic situations makes us reconsider our approach to driving. Drive safely, everyone.

This video is a good reminder to be more understanding and less reactive.
The part of the video with the trailer and the forklift could be used in an advertisement for the company that made the forklift and especially the mechanism that holds it there. Hats off to the engineers. I feel better about driving a trailer like that on the freeway now that I've convinced myself that it won't fall over even with a lunatic driving it like that in the video. Shoutout to that company. You did more than well.

The bus pursuit was in Indiana not Ohio. I know because I’m a Hoosier and I remember when this was all over the news. Also Indiana state police and sheriffs don’t operate in Ohio.

I’ve finally worked out why single vehicle pursuits involve so many vehicles! The police department use the pursuit as an opportunity to train their officers on the cheap, thank you criminals for saving the police departments so much of their budgets!

Couple of ways: Area knowledge, or having the right vehicle. They say you can't outrun the radio or the helicopter, but I know from personal experience a Mustang GT with a full tank can outrun both.

Imagine stealing something like a school bus or a dump truck. Not only are they super noticeable but they’re slower than cars and can get stuck easily off road due to high-centering. And carry a long list of trouble when you get caught. 😝

Last chase at end of video was beyond stupid. One child stepping into the street could have been tragic especially since the young cop didn't know the neighborhood and nearly wrecked himself.

Just want to point out that the school bus one was that the bus was stolen in Cincinnati, Ohio, but the chase occurred in Indiana. The stolen bus was spotted crossing the state border, and the chase started from there. So they were Indiana police officers.
