Strug´s form on the beam, after the routines of Gutsu, Bogui or Miller, simply defines the word "atrocious" for all non-native English speakers like me.
They use it in football (soccer if you're North American) quite often but mostly on legs. They call it the 'magic spray.' I imagine that flipping on a hurting back is a lot tougher than running on a hurting leg.

Her beam work is the WORST.
Best quality I've found on all of youtube. Thank you!
The scoring was so random them. They were literally doing the same vaults and sticking them they all looked like they could have been 10 vaults
Ok but Shannon should've gotten a 10, not a 9.975.
Boginskaya's first vault was kind of scary to watch as her hands seem to almost slip off the horse. Thankfully nothing bad happened.
Nice bars routine from Lysenko
No, it was best score in the AA too.. average in EF. They didn't average in the AA until the code leading to 96.

@bbhouk1 They only did averages in the event finals in '92. Best score in every other round.
I miss when the Chinese had expression and actual choreography in their floor routines....
Well that wasn't this quad, that's for sure ...
Shannon was ripped off in these Olympics... Still turned put to be the best gymnast America ever had
@MaebySurelyBarely
i think best score counting here and then average in the aa and ef
A blank expression can really spoil a good floor routine.
Yeah, that's what killed the Americans in Beijing and Athens. I hate the format as well.
