The upgraded Seltos looks so much nicer (inside and out) than the one it replaces. If it was available now AND if there was a hybrid option, I would have gotten it over the Sportage SX-Prestige Hybrid I did get.
in Australia there is no DCT engine in Seltos 2023, there is now 8-speed conventional automatic in the turbo 1.6 Kia Seltos engine. I suspect in USA/Canada the same applies, the DCT transmission in Kia Seltos 2023 is no longer offered. By 2023 model, I mean the Kia Seltos model cars arriving for sale/delivery in Australia from Nov-Dec 2022 and onwards.
The DCT in the seltos is not jerky - you just have to understand them and use correctly...it's not as good on downshift as the VW DCT we have had in Golf GTis, but it is still OK

I had a Hyundai Elantra eco with a dct. I HATED IT. I had to get rid of it as fast as I could. That transmission was horrible
Maybe i should wait till 2025 cause is gonna be better🤔😀
I'll buy a Kia when they start using Toyota engines.
