I was a bit worried about them fiddling with the movie too much with too much music but this song rocks! Kate Miller Heidke is certainly very talented. Can't wait to see the show!
This song is amazing, both written and performed. I think I need a Rhonda, and Im still trying to find my inner Muriel.... (I had a massive crush on her mum tho, if that counts)
She's waaay gorgeous. At least she has the voice/accent part spot-on, but yeah she's as fat as me, no wait, thinner, so now I have to go on 20 diet-makeovers because "fatness/ugliness" has been recalibrated and now everybody is the new super-ugly. I was depressed enough with myself. LOL.
How about Muriel FEELS fat because she has barely any self-esteem? Medically fat or not, that's how she sees herself. Rather than a character who is supposed to be fat, she's a character suffering many issues, one of them body image.
It's so nice to hear a musical with Australian accents and that's uniquely Australian

My god i love this musical and this song!!!
mai mai love the whole musical
Such a stunning song, and stunning performers both of them.
Everyone needs a Rhonda in their life, and to be Rhonda, she's BADASS!
Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir have done an excellent job with this song!
3:16 and onwards makes me cry like a baby. So damn good! Harmonies at 3:45 and onwards are unreal!
I want this come to America
Kate did amazing. I love her

Interesting choice for a performance considering the great songs in the show
I think because more than anything it sums up the theme of the story - learning self-belief, and how friendship can lift you up and change your life.
I think it’s an iconic moment though, and fans of the movie would relate to the scene.
Why is she calling herself "fat"? She doesn't look at all overweight. Or is she supposed to be one of those people who thinks they're fat, but isn't?
bad casting. her character is supposed to be fat. i saw it with a fitting cast and it was great

Well, she’s supposed to be in the movie
Toni Collette gained 80 pounds for Muriel movie...
