@BackToNature Africa Bro you could start building these solar systems in different farms in Kenya. I bet there is demand for such a skill.....You'd be the McDonalds of solar irrigation systems in Africa.
This video was very inspirational. I hope that I am able to move to Africa permanently in the next two years to continue doing what I enjoy most which is farming.
Great work both of you! The presentation by Kunga (Backtonature_Africa ?.) is: Excellent, Realistic, Generous in sharing ups and downs, Down-to-earth, Most Responsible, Eco-friendly. He is Very Intelligent, Well-informed, Articulate, Courageous (not easy starting a business or farming), Passionate, Persistent, Admirable. Kudos and best wishes, Mr. Kunga. Thank you African Traveller for allowing him to talk (unlike other interviewers). I love your interviews, videos, aerial shots, professionalism, and style. That is why I subscribed ages ago. Best wishes.
Planning on growing hass ovacadoes in a 2acre property. My dad farmed garlic years ago in Narok they did so well but there wasn't a good market for it.
Best decision ever. Saw this article about a correlation between Mosanto and round up which is widely used now with Kenyan farmers. People should learn how to keep their own seeds now. Most pesticides kills heirloom plants and not Mosanto plants. Something to think about. Making your own compost for soil amendments is key.
@@AfrikanTraveller Going to teach my family on this been doing small scale kitchen garden here in the US but this coming season I'm starting my own farming project. Waiting on my certification as an organic farmer.
Avocados don't grow true to seed so if you plant a avocado seed from one that you ate it won't grow the same type of avocado you ate weird but true so you have to graft them in order for you to get the same fruit look up avocado grafting on UA-cam to see how it's done
HEKO !!! I enjoyed watching this video. Just curious though, can Soyabeans Grow in that farm ? If yeah, perhaps the farmers can use it faster to add Nitrogen to the soils. And by extension, make a few good bucks from the sale of the beans. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
Another great end of the year video. Yes, I saw Mr Kunga first when he was featured by Wode Maya. Am so impressed by what he is doing in Kenya. Mr Kunga and I have talked. I think organic farming is great for many reasons. But I also want to keep in mind that currently we have a huge population dependent on our current high production farming techniques. Sri Lanka's experiment in organic farming has shown the issue. It's one thing to use lots and lots of cool sounding terms, see a few choice pics of well growing crops. It's another thing when a crop is almost lost to a pest. A wealthy farmer can get through a few hard seasons and low production. Poor farmers get wiped out in 1 or 2 seasons. Organic farming is for rich people and for people growing their own food.

Men, I think we consuming it in food, where would children who are testing positive getting it from and they don't farm?

This is why farming so risky and sometimes regarded as a non-profit business… it’s a hobby. The losses to an average farmer can be unrecoverable.
