COVID-19 vaccine Covishield maker AstraZeneca has announced the withdrawal of its vaccines from the market. The firm says this is because of the decline of its vaccine, as there are newer options available that can combat the evolving virus. The pharmaceutical firm announced its withdrawal weeks after it admitted that its vaccine could cause blood clots and a low platelet count. The company is also facing a million-dollar lawsuit in the United Kingdom with allegations that link its COVID jab with the deaths of at least 80 people. Watch our video to know more.

6 months after taking the second dose of covi shield My dad had brain stroke due to blood clot and left side paralysis. And we dint have option also there was no option as to which vaccine we had to take it was compulsory covi shield.
Well bless their little hearts. Withdrawing now does not negate the damage they knowingly did. Remember, they all received their warning, yet decided to proceed. Remember this when they all start bawling and sh*tting themselves on live TV.
I agree with you all has I said on my chat about this horrible disease I got I have to live with this for the rest of my life I’m tired just getting up to go bathroom I use to be able to hold my grandson but I cannot anymore has my muscles are very weak my opticians told me it could be the vaccine I had a very bad experience with now I am just left to cope with this and AstraZenca just want to withdraw this vaccine

I suffered severe breathing difficulties for more than one year after taking Astra Zeneka booster dose in Cambodia.
"Booster"... yet nothing happened after the first... strange...
Also look up what a vaccine is... it's essentially a light version of the virus... So if the vaccine made you struggle to breathe for a year... the virus would of done far worse (remember those ventilators that were needed for people in a coma who got the virus!?). But you clearly never got the virus... because immunity in you and the people around you was kicking in... and that immunity was mainly from the vaccines.
And now you are absolutely fine.
Sounds like one of those mild side effects which everyone was told about and which basically does you no harm whatsoever then.

Sounds like you took the jab Victoria. Yes they knew, and they can't be sued.
Because it's side effects rate is lower than paracetamol... ALL medications have a side effect percentage. Also at no point were the side effects hidden... However, at first, like all new drugs, all the side effects wont be fully known (they are now) until the medicine has been out for a while.
It has not been pulled because of the side effects... it has been pulled because newer vaccines protect more for the newer C19 variants... so it's an old drug. AZ only offers protection from the first variants and we are on the 10+ variant now. A virus will mutate to survive... to do this it becomes less fatal, it keeps the host alive so it can survive. Soon it will get to the stage were vaccines will only be needed for the seriously vulnerable only (we are already getting into this period). Giving a old vaccine to these people would be pointless.
It's side effect rate is 2.5 in 100,000 people... in comparison... Pfizer+ and Moderna (The newer vaccines) has a side effect rate of 1 out of 10,000 people (so 10 in 100,000... that's 4 times higher) and Paracetamol has a side effect rate of 1 in 100 people (hundreds of times higher). The fatality rate is extremely low, those side effects include none fatal and none serious and all similar medicines share similar side effect types. The Malaria, Meningitis and even HIV vaccines have even higher side effect rates and are deemed life savers, saving billions of lives for decades.
The AZ Vaccine has been confirmed to have saved over 3.5 million lives in England Wales alone after just 4 months of usage... with only 24 related deaths in that time period. With C19 responsible for 100,101 deaths in that same period in the same location (nearly all those were either unvaccinated or severely ill prior to contracting C19). Those who died from the vaccine would have certainly died from C19 (A vaccine essentially gives you a extremely light version of the virus to make you immune).
With nearly 4 billion doses given worldwide... The vaccine has saved A LOT of lives.
What this video does not tell you is that there are 50 law suits against AZ in UK... but over 150 for Pfizer in the UK... but Pfizer is still in use.... so why make news that will scare people from using it when it definitely saves lives...!? Also a law suit does not mean they will win the suit. However, because AZ and Pfizer were new, the claimants that suffered before the full side effects were known, will succeed, but that is normal. It's why when you buy medicine, there is a leaflet in the box with the list of side-effects because the medicine has been out for a while and the side effects are now fully known from reports and law suits. They only put that leaflet in so they cant be sued anymore ("You were warned").
The only real big news here is the AZ vaccine has done it's job and now ceases. Rather than making a new one... they have decided to call quits as it was the ONLY vaccine that was made without making profit... and that's the sad thing really... it was the only Vaccine in the world that was none profit and instead of that being the headline... the scare mongering to make people use the profit vaccines took it's place (Making people richer). AZ was the only vaccine EVER that governments and hospitals worldwide only had to pay for the cost of manufacturing... which was dirt cheap. Now they have to pay for cost and profit which is around 500% higher.

@@babalonkiethis is the most sensible comment ever written on AZ vaccine issue which is making headlines across the globe. I worked in a big Pharma distribution company for 4.5 years even during Covid 19 period. When AZ vaccine made available to the general public in India, we saw very lower sales of medicines for slmost a quarter period. There was increased immunity among the people after taking vaccines. So less people were falling sick thus very low demand for medicines. We were sitting idle for 3-4 hours every day at the work due to no orders. Before the vaccination we used to work nonstop for 10 hours everyday to fullfill orders from pharmacy stores. Vaccines made people less vulnerable to infections not just covid but to other illness like common cold and flu.
When i took AZ vaccine i was crying for 2 days.because my kidney stone pain erupted in the evening after taking first dose. May be it was a side effect of the vaccine. I had other option of taking Covaxin,a indigenous covid 19 vaccine made in India by a company called Bharat Biotech. But at that time covaxin was not widely available through the government's free vaccination drive centres.it was available in some Private hospitals at the cost of $15-17 price which was unaffordable for people like me. But after suffering from kidney stone pain for 2 days,i regretted for not choosing Covaxin over Covieshield.
Whatever it may be but todays people are making nonsense statements against covieshield. The side effects ratio is not a big issue when it comes to urgency of that time and benefits people got from the vaccine. It just nonsense hue and cry nowadays politicians and some so called highly educated people are making.

Can I get compensation because AstraZeneca made me very poorly on my first vaccine I was in hospital has my temp 40 and very bad headaches which I still get every day also I cannot smell or taste and now I’ve been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis which Covid vaccine and Covid can Cathy’s horrible disease which I’ve got for life my opticians said my eyesight got really bad has my left eye lid droops also I drop things out of my right hand now I have to live with this for the rest of my life does anyone know anything about this can you get back to me kind Regards Donna
