Heart Lake Conservation Area is also a fantastic park in Brampton. There is an admission fee but there is also treetop activities and swimming. I’ve personally caught sunfish, crappie, largemouth bass, and even the odd rainbow trout or walleye on various setups. It is a pretty deep lake in the middle and when the fishing gets tough, by taking a kayak out to the middle and with a simple drop-shot rig and a crawler, that’ll put more fish in your boat. Tight lines everyone!
Trust me! Longpoint is an amazing place to fish! If you go down on longpoint until you see a a bridge park on the road and go under the bridge. Use worms or fake worms and you are bound to catch bass! There is also some pike swimming around there too. The bridge is at the start of big creek!

there is no walleye at heartlake, i caught a rainbow trout there!
