I would go to one of the classic hotels in London-Claridges, the Savoy or the Langham-I went to the Dorchester, sat away from the piano area(divine), saw a few dowagers and obviously regular patrons settle into a classic tea ritual of cucumber sandwiches etc.. and house tea blend .It's a real tradition.
