Shame this series is ending, it was my favourite thing on this channel and why I kept coming back. Considering the staff costs, props, and assured demonetization, it's no wonder it's being cancelled.
Perhaps in the future, would you guys launch a spin-off channel with ONLY this series, with a Patreon to boot? That kind of structure would work much better then having this series shoved into a hub channels lineup. It'd allow room to build on your characters, Patreon would hopefully turn the channel a profit, and you have a bit of an audience already.
ImKibitz At a guess he's going to start some kind of new project; he seems to have a habit of doing that. Which is fine, but difficult to keep up with for many viewers. I didn't find this series after econpop until it was halfway finished
Gallifreyan Buccaneer There's some out and about but they're all response style videos which aren't really what you're asking about. I honestly don't know any on UA-cam and the last one i liked off this platform was penn and teller bullshit.
Reason killed Mostly Weekly, violation of the NAP...shame, SHAME! Reasons I watch ReasonTV (in order): 1. Remy 2. Mostly Weekly 3. Watching the jacket use it's Nick Gillespie puppet while listening to "Rock n Roll Lifestyle" by Cake. 4. Because I'm a libertarian.
Cold comfort indeed! My ancestors left Vyan, OK during the Dust Bowl and came to the Central Valley of California for work. Now I have to DRINK OUT OF PAPER STRAWS! THANKS GRANDMA!
I watch and rewatch Mostly Weekly videos over and over. This was my favorite series on Reason! Bring it back!! Remember, Reason: 'We must teach them with the tools by which they are comfortable.'
No! You can't go! You and Remy are the best things on ReasonTV! I mean, the "serious" journalism is great and all, but who has the attention span for it?
Andrew you'll be sorely missed! I've thoroughly enjoyed this series and would love to see more, preferably a libertarian let's play channel where the protagonists refuse every quest because it's not in his/her self interest! Looking forward to it
Probably a lack of funding. They don't get a lot of views and I doubt ReasonTV is brimming with cash to subsidize the show. My question is why do they not have more views? I guess people would rather watch the smug liberal political "comedians" on TV like Colbert than watch basically the same thing, from a libertarian perspective, without all of the smugness.
Awww, man, this was my favourite UA-cam series! I hope to see Heaton doing more things soon. He easily has the chops to host the equivalent of a Daily Show or Last Week Tonight.
Hilarious and informative! If coal is really going to be obselete then let's take away the subsities for renewables and nonrenewables and see what the market favors
Creative destruction also applies to trade and migration. Both can be disruptive, but like always with free markets, they end up making us more productive, and better off.
Are you implying that his plan all along was to promote creative destruction by creating a band of restless internet Okies forever chasing their next economic fix?
NO! God, please, NO! Don't end it! Andrew Heaton, Nick Gillespie, Sarah the camera person! Please, for the love of all that is holy and free, don't end this show!!! We'll all be good, we promise! This series is both hilarious and educational about Libertarianism!! Please don't leave, I will personally sell myself into servitude to keep this show going! We'll start a Patreon, we'll buy magazine subscriptions to Reason, we'll get the Koch brothers to fund you! Hell, I'll even disable addblock just for you guys! This was my favorite show! It was so good! Never let it die
Thanxs for the yuks, Andrew and crew! And for the unfortunate side-effect of learning some things about market-based economy (oh well, it can’t be helped!)
More people seriously need to understand this concept and that in the modern age workers need to learn to be more flexible and willing to enter into more of the non-traditional work arrangements...the "gig" economy.
Many malls are adapting well. Actually there is a small mall near me that is now 1/4 medical offices. Lots of medical practices, surgery clinics. There is ample parking and the doctors have large offices. Also there are still lots of travel agents, and I know ones who do good business, their industry just adapted to the changes. They just evolved as an industry and are doing quite well. Also they organize lots of group tours and more.
Among0Shadows That moment when you post something on a low viewer-volume video and some rando (me) notices the VP9 and meme-ified Fox Hound patch in the user thumbnail...
So sad this series is ending--it was my favorite from Reason! Now I feel guilty because I didn't share the vids as much as I could have. Hope to see Reason produce something soon that's just as good.
It has nothing to do with making "better" stuff. This process creates cheaper stuff available to more people, which is great if you like furniture with new car smell that you can accidentally put your hand through. Also, nice use of Amazon as an example of progress--a company that has never turned an operational profit, but instead runs on a combination of government-subsidized shipping and the apparently unlimited patience of investors.
1) Amazon plowed all their operational profits into growing the company. 2) Amazon is actually profitable, and has been for awhile: www.recode.net/2018/2/1/16961598/amazon-jeff-bezos-record-profit-11-quarter-q4-2017-earnings
@William: Their retail business would have turned a profit a long time ago, but they keep using the cash to expand. Remember Amazon started out as a seller of physical books.
@William: It's been well covered that Amazon spent their profits on expanding for many years: www.ben-evans.com/benedictevans/2014/9/4/why-amazon-has-no-profits-and-why-it-works
Is it just me or where there a lot of little glitches on this video. I’m glad there’s still a channel dealing with the economics issues that libertarians are interested in rather than just dozens of videos about what SJWS did this week
Shame this series is ending, it was my favourite thing on this channel and why I kept coming back. Considering the staff costs, props, and assured demonetization, it's no wonder it's being cancelled.
,,, You and I both know that statement isn't true. Just come clean and admit, Remy is your favorite thing on this channel.
Nonsense. We all know Stossel is the best thing on this channel.
The best content on this channel is a tie between stossel and if movies were libertarian.
Perhaps in the future, would you guys launch a spin-off channel with ONLY this series, with a Patreon to boot? That kind of structure would work much better then having this series shoved into a hub channels lineup. It'd allow room to build on your characters, Patreon would hopefully turn the channel a profit, and you have a bit of an audience already.
something id actually support
YES! do it! i double dog dare you! and if double dogs scare you, i one-and-a-half dog dare you!
ImKibitz At a guess he's going to start some kind of new project; he seems to have a habit of doing that. Which is fine, but difficult to keep up with for many viewers. I didn't find this series after econpop until it was halfway finished
I would add a mostly weekly style show to my other 80 patreon campaigns I support...
Truest comment in the history of all comments since language consisted of monosyllabic grunts and jawbone gesticulation.
No! I loved this show! Where else am I supposed to get informative libertarian comedy?!
Sturzam The Saiyan Demon No he’s just conservative not libertarian, plus his comedy is a completely different style.
chaosXpert reasontv
chaosXpert Freedom Toons
IamDennis .Ok What about comedy that isn’t a cartoon?
Gallifreyan Buccaneer There's some out and about but they're all response style videos which aren't really what you're asking about. I honestly don't know any on UA-cam and the last one i liked off this platform was penn and teller bullshit.
Why do you end this series? It's the best one on your channel!
nah, that's stossel but this one is the "funny" one...
I imagine he was contracted for 24 episodes.
I think it's because Reason's becoming infiltrated with statists. I've been getting that vibe lately
Maxwell Stetson i agree wwith you, the ideology is swiftly changing
Nooo, don't go!
Reason killed Mostly Weekly, violation of the NAP...shame, SHAME!
Reasons I watch ReasonTV (in order):
1. Remy
2. Mostly Weekly
3. Watching the jacket use it's Nick Gillespie puppet while listening to "Rock n Roll Lifestyle" by Cake.
4. Because I'm a libertarian.
DeadlyPlatypus I too believe the jacket is the true Lord of puppets.
What about stossel?
Yes, I do watch for Stossel...now I'm ashamed...put him in the #3 position.
ha! great comment
Same bro, Remy and this show we're the best. I settle with stossel because he's informative just not funny. Does he have a new show?
Ending the best series on this channel? Sad!
Peter DeLong Seriously! WHY!!!
It's fine, a better one will take it's place.
Best Mostly Weekly quote: Hillary Clinton: Author of “It Takes a Village”...... to Raise a Child who will one day grow up to not vote for you.
That was best video of the series as well
Are you ending it? This is the series that introduced me to your channel :'(
Truls Skogli Fosshaug Same here man, this stuff is great. I hope Reason finds another use for Andrew and company, they’re hilarious
Great run! These videos are hilarious.
Me too. I'm going to miss Andrew's stuff.
The Day The Humor Died
Floyd Maxwell Remy is still there to keep the humor alive
There is that. Ah, who's Remy?
That’s the title of a Simpsons episode, right?
I started singin ...
Good comment: parody of American Pie
‘The Day The Music Died’
Cold comfort indeed!
My ancestors left Vyan, OK during the Dust Bowl and came to the Central Valley of California for work. Now I have to DRINK OUT OF PAPER STRAWS! THANKS GRANDMA!
I'll miss you Sarah... and I guess you too, Andrew.
Phu5ion beta male alert
Simp
I'm assuming an even funnier and more relevant video series with Heaton will take its place?
And Sarah, hitting him?
They made an impressive, funny, duo! I like a lot!😉😁
Bummer I just discovered this. I love u sir. And will continue to support all ur endeavors. Ty for you work.
I watch and rewatch Mostly Weekly videos over and over. This was my favorite series on Reason!
Bring it back!! Remember, Reason: 'We must teach them with the tools by which they are comfortable.'
This is my favorite Reason TV show
NOOOOOOOOOOO I LOVE MOSTLY WEEKLY PLEASE DONT END THEM
The series FINALE?! NO!!! You will be missed! Absolutely LOVED this podcast!
You're ending it?! what?! nooo! I just got here :-(
Then you've got a whole lot to catch up on! Choice series man.
Would love to see this series continue. Rational thought presenting in a clear and humorous way. LOVE IT!!
Andrew is hilarious. I'm sorry to see this series end. But then . . . no gig lasts forever!
Man I loved this show. You explained the news in a simple way with humor.
Looking forward to it
The least biased content in this channel . Don't end this!
Don't end this... You bring me joy.
That which burns twice as bright burns half as long. Great series, best thing on Reason.
Yeah, not happy you guys are ending this--*love* this series!
Thank you guys. For everything.
Why is this ending?!
Probably a lack of funding. They don't get a lot of views and I doubt ReasonTV is brimming with cash to subsidize the show. My question is why do they not have more views? I guess people would rather watch the smug liberal political "comedians" on TV like Colbert than watch basically the same thing, from a libertarian perspective, without all of the smugness.
quite possible
"It was something about feminism" LOOOOOOOL!
Dude this and remy are what keep me coming back to Reasontv..
Its like Firefly & Jericho all over again.
That is some high praise.
Love Sarah!!! Great Finale. I'm sure you will reinvent yourself and appear out of the ashes of the creative destruction. LOOOOL
I wish this show would return
I regret that this series appears to be ending. I enjoyed it greatly.
Wait.... this is why I subscribed ☹️ don’t leave 😥
Awww, man, this was my favourite UA-cam series! I hope to see Heaton doing more things soon. He easily has the chops to host the equivalent of a Daily Show or Last Week Tonight.
First Nanny of the Month, now Mostly Weekly. I'll miss this series
I'll miss this, please keep us informed on your future endeavors.
Hilarious and informative!
If coal is really going to be obselete then let's take away the subsities for renewables and nonrenewables and see what the market favors
Yep. Let the market do its work.
I am gonna miss mostly weekly! Andrew you funny bugger, you better pop up in something else on Reason. You and Remy are hysterical.
Well that sucks! You guys are the only reason I subscribed to Reason... Also, coal is dying due to regulations and not market forces.
Creative destruction also applies to trade and migration. Both can be disruptive, but like always with free markets, they end up making us more productive, and better off.
Please come back! We need you!
What a phenomenal series. Best of luck to you all.
Very funny, And a great way to get the message out. Brilliant.
Mostly Weekly and Stossel are the only Reasons I watch Reason.
Andrew Heaton has a bad habit of starting up excellent series (EconPop, this), and then bailing.
It's becoming irritatingly predictible.
It creates us, a new breed of internet migrants, following him from place to place in search of excellent comedy series
Thanks for helping me find econpop though. At least now I can still get my Heaton fix
Are you implying that his plan all along was to promote creative destruction by creating a band of restless internet Okies forever chasing their next economic fix?
If the well worn shoe fits
Kenny Beck: EconPop was wonderful, and I'm still annoyed that it ended.
This was a favorite. Appreciate your hard work and look forward to seeing what you do next.
This series was so underrated.
Bring back Mostly Weekly!
I'm "UNEXPECTANELY" watching
This and Remy are why I sub. Keep doing awesome stuff please, whatever form it takes. Even just glass eating, I don't care.
Was great watching this series. Wish you guys the best of luck!
sad to see this series end but I welcome the change
Noooo! Keep this going! Best part of the channel.
Just found this channel, love mostly weekly, and can't seem to get into the newer vids. Sad it's gone before I could subscribe!
This was my favorite thing on Reason TV. If they started this as a stand alone I would contribute to the Patreon.
Another vote for angsty NOoOOOOooOoOooooo and weeping and gnashing of teeth. Don't leave us, Andrew!
Man, this was a great series! Good luck in your future endeavors.
I love this series, please make more of these.
These videos are so hilarious, well-written and insightful. I'll miss them.
Thanxs for the yuks, Andrew and crew!
And for the unfortunate side-effect of learning some things about market-based economy (oh well, it can’t be helped!)
Awww this was my favorite Reason series... Do more stuff with Andrew!
Is that a Merkur Scorpio 3:14 !! Wow! Of all the places to see one!
Watching this after the Chris Rock/Will Smith slap makes the opening slap all that much more hilarious.
Andrew your series was informative and hilarious! Thank you for all your hard work.
Nooo! Another delightful segment gone. My heart weeps for the future
Is it over? I just got here. I love your humor. I hope this isn't all there is
Tanks the one entertaining series on the channel. Damn.
I miss this show. Please bring it back
Andrew I love it when you reference the MCU.
Sad it's ending, I came to ReasonTV for Mostly Weekly.
Why does this guy love librarians much? I haven't stepped into a library for years,
Dude, there's only a few things I consistently enjoy on youtube these days, this is one of them. Why?
Big mistake ending this. Bring it back!
Aw, now I'm mostly sad and I'm watching definitely dying.
Finaly! A montage of Sarah slapping Andrew. It's all the best of the series in one video.
Such a great series! Can't wait to see what Heston does next!
More people seriously need to understand this concept and that in the modern age workers need to learn to be more flexible and willing to enter into more of the non-traditional work arrangements...the "gig" economy.
This cannot be!! You two or was it three with Austin..you must press on with this series..now I’m just sulking here beside myself with this sad news!
This was the best series on the channel. Sad to see it go.
This show was funnier than all of the late night shows combined.
It's still Heaton Bot 2000! Ever since the mustache left. Love the continuity and look forward.... oh
I'll miss you Mostly Weekly!
"Its ok because it's old tomes!"
Amazing
Going to drink one for y’all! I always looked forward to these
Among0Shadows That moment when you post something on a low viewer-volume video and some rando (me) notices the VP9 and meme-ified Fox Hound patch in the user thumbnail...
You have not replaced this show with a better one.
Bring him back! Bring him back!
So sad this series is ending--it was my favorite from Reason! Now I feel guilty because I didn't share the vids as much as I could have. Hope to see Reason produce something soon that's just as good.

William Burr which in turn makes better stuff better can mean cheaper more efficient its a pretty broad word
@William: You seem to miss the point where it never makes a profit because it's always GROWING. That is, they make capital expenditures.
I want this show to keep going.
It's rare, but some things such as Poloroids, Records or funny haircuts make comebacks.
Is it just me or where there a lot of little glitches on this video.
I’m glad there’s still a channel dealing with the economics issues that libertarians are interested in rather than just dozens of videos about what SJWS did this week
NOOOO0000oooo I love Mostly Weekly!
WHY WOULD YOU END IT. DUDE. I pass this on to MANY people...
I love this show, I don't get why it didn't become more popular.
We need this show to come back
I miss this show.
