Fresh Fest Freestyle (Live on Electric Circus, August 1991)

This video captures a live performance on CityTV's "Electric Circus" on August 17, 1991 by Dan-e-o, Fresh B, Lindo P, B-Kool (a.k.a. Carlito Brigante), S Blank, Kid NRG, Gifted & Black and RP Rap.
The group of MC's was scheduled to perform at an event called "Fresh Fest" later that month in Mississauga, Ontario and visited the popular dance show to promote it. The crew was introduced by Jel (a.k.a. Chris "GotRocks" Jackson).

Absolutely AMAZING! DAN-e-o, B-Kool and S Blank were my favs back then. Toronto talent was top notch. These cats were unreal. If these guys had been in New York City, instead of Canada, some of them would have blown up into Stardom, no doubt. Thank you for posting this. So nostalgic as I was in early high school days during this time. Big ups to all my peeps at Vic Park High School. There will never be a golden era of hip hop like the early 90s late 80s...
