ATWT CarJack: 9/5/2001 - Jack discovers Carly gone and confronts Craig

No Carly in this clip - but she is the topic of conversation. So, I'm pretty sure we've all seen the clip of Jack finding Carly in Chicago - well this is what happened the day before. Jack stops by Carly's to drop off his key. He wants to knock but opts instead to slide the key under the door. The door is ajar and it opens when he bumps it. Once inside he sees the boxes and calls out for Carly. A handyman comes out from the bedroom instead. Jack asks about Carly and the guy makes a remark about how a good looking woman like that has probably found a sugar daddy. Of course, Jack feeling insecure immediately assumes she's moving back in with Craig and he heads off to find her. Instead he encounters Craig. (I absolutely loathe Craig. However, in this particular scene he actually speaks the truth. Hell may have frozen over, LOL!) Anyway, Jack makes a call to Shanks and puts a tail on Carly so that he can catch up to her in Chicago.

THIS is why I can never really hate Craig. All too often he acts as Jack's conscience and tells Jack the truth, what Jack needs to hear. Yes, Craig is flawed. But even those who dislike him most have to acknowledge that Craig, at least in this clip, tells it like it is.

@likesunshine71 I agree that Craig speaks the truth about Carly only ever loving Jack. However, Craig NEVER would have said as much unless he didn't think it was the way to get Carly to come back to town. He used Jack to do what he couldn't. So, unless there's something in it for him - he never would have said as much. Because just as Craig spoke the truth - so did Jack.

Oh this is also the episode where Hal and Emily attempt to have a nice dinner date, only it ended up w/ Emily throwing her shoe at Hal! hahaha
