id disagree, it really depends how off the system is though. My yamaha hs5s i dont think need it much. While my jbl system with a sub, I feel like needs it drastically. I also think it works really good with headphones because a lot of headphones have this weird activity going on in the highs where it sharply peaks and dips.

I don't really like the whole "what your mix sounds like on X" plugin type. It feels kinda memey.
What I do instead is check how the mids work out on their own. My template has a stock eq on the listen bus I can turn on or off, with a low cut at 250 and high cut at 5000.
Most of the time if your song translates well with those cuts on, you're solid. That's pretty much where the music in your mix lives.
Also, it's free to just add an EQ

FWIW, yours is the only review I've seen that sh*ts on this plugin. I think that's probably because they're rating i based on its own merits and not comparing it to others (which is more fair). For example, yes, it's on the expensive side, but what about if it goes on sale? As I write this, it's approaching Black Friday and this plugin is on sale... Because of this, other reviews are helpful in determining whether to get it or not. This review... not so much. My two cents....
