Excellent review. You did NOT start with "how bad" the game is, pretty imparcial. I love this anime series and thanks to your video i can rest and wait for a bargain... besides the backlog is too huge LOL
While I do agree the still images used to tell the story might turn off some people I honestly thought they looked good (little detailed effects and transitions were exceptionally done). I don’t think every game should incorporate ‘open world’ mechanics, and also think it was a wise decision the developers chose a more linear approach to get the action and combat rolling. With that said I think your review is fantastic and more people should give this game a fair shot!
In gameplay, that's a fair comparison, though it could have used a little bit more variety. But the narrative delivery was by far the weakest aspect of this game.
I do admit narrative wise I can't help but feel a little bit of fun in DQ heroes 2, I mean sure it's pretty generic of a plot but I still enjoyed myself there but considering how Jarring Scarlet Nexus felt with how it handled cutscenes doing the same thing you mentioned with this game I prob would be a little annoyed with that here. @@pungentfunk
@@RaidenKaiser, I didn't mind Heroes either. But if you play Infinity Strash and are interested in the story, just skip all of the non-animated cut scenes and watch the 2020 anime (or read the manga).

I'm glad you found it helpful! I too, constantly struggle with backlog issues. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you
any time!
pls tell me this is on steam! also i still have to finish watching the new anime of dai its good !
It certainly is. And if you've seen the first 41 episodes, you're clear to skip any non-animated cut scene.
Was the game successful enough for a sequel.
From what I've seen, it seems the game did not sell well and received fairly low reviews.

Mmm, may check if there is a pc port
It is indeed available on PC
This looks like DQ heroes but far more refined
