The cinematography and lighting were really great in this. And the dialogue was refreshingly down to earth, which is unfortunately a rarity, especially in the horror space. My biggest complaint is the sound. Its all over the place, with background noise being incredibly loud in some shots and very noticeably post-muffled in other shots. I would have suggested ADR-ing it entirely and putting some on-site room tone under it. Either that or treating all the audio the same way. I can sense the limitations you had and I'm genuinely impressed with how good this came out, though. Sound is really hard: it can make or break a film almost unfairly so. Just get a good sound person on the team next time and it will improve leaps and bounds. But overall I'm excited to see more from you. I think you should keep pursuing horror because there are some real gems here that I want to see developed into a clearer voice. Horror is HARD, and I genuinely think this came out pretty well.
