See the firefighter at the left end of the house? he is pulling out the gable end vent to allow the attic to vent better. That is the intelligent and responsible way to vent an attic. This fire needed to be fought through the ceiling and it wasn't. The water going through the front gable end vent is covering the ceiling and will eventually destroy everything in the room below. The guy in the hose is referred to as a Fountain Statue. The guys around him are Lawn Statues. The ladder stream has no Line Of Sight on the burning material. The water from the ladder will only destroy what is left after the fire players got done inside. What would they have done if this was a Big house? THIS DEPARTMENT NEEDS A NEW FIRE CHIEF AND TRAINING OFFICERS! 7:50 Still burning!
Not usually a Monday morning QB but there is no reason they shouldn’t have been able to go inside, pull ceilings and put the fire in the attic out. Looks like they had plenty of manpower.
