The reg o/S on my skin is white flash all over it I dunno why but I have 2 jars I am about to get rid of cause I have never been able to use it. What is the magic way to be able to use it that this does not happen lol

To get the most coverage use a flat puff to apply it. Also you can use a dense flat kabuki brush. A fluffy brush & sponge will give you sheer to light coverage with this powder foundation.

Hi Brett! I have a question for you. What does a red undertone mean? I always go for a neutral undertone but I do have redness on my cheeks so should I be going for a red undertone? Sorry if this is a stupid question 😬 I’ve tried looking online but I can’t seem to find much information.
This powder foundation looks amazing on you! I already have it in my cart but now I’m really wondering about the red undertone options.

Also, is the powder drying? I have dry skin and hardly ever use powder foundations for fear of flaky skin

Ugh!!! All of these powder foundations coming out. I want to try them so badly because I have oily skin. And Patrick Starr is also oily, so I think I have somewhat of a similar skin type, though I'm sensitive to certain ingredients.

What are your thoughts about using this foundation in mature dry skin? I tried powder foundation once and OMG it was so bad I never tried it again. I know I need to extra hydrate my skin when using a powder. I would love to try it especially on its own for a light coverage.

I'm 41 with combo dry skin and have used powder foundation for years. Yes, skin prep beforehand is key but I've found application tool and technique to be just as important.
After cleansing, my skin prep includes gentle exfoliation to reduce/eliminate clinging, a hydrating serum, moisturizer and then sunscreen. I let it sink in and prime with either the Good Molecules Silicone Free Priming Moisturizer (can be moisturizer and primer in one if skin isn't too dry) or Tatcha Liquid Silk Canvas. I then use concealer which provides the bulk of my coverage in any problem areas and finally will apply a light layer of powder foundation with a fluffy brush using a tap/pressing motion as buffing or swirling can cause microexfoliation, enhancing dryness. If I need more coverage, I build lightly and then will apply setting spray/facial mist very lightly, just to take down the powdery look and melt everything. This also helps in blending cream cheek products over top once the mist has dried down. After I finish my makeup completely, I mist again and I'm good for at least 6 hrs before I may need to blot my tzone.
Many powder foundations can look heavy and can crack if applied at full coverage from the start with a wet sponge or a dense brush and regardless of how much you exfoliate, buffing with a brush or dragging with a sponge will cause the powder to cling and look dry/cakey. A few of my favorite powder foundations are Lancome Duel Finish (my current favorite) and MAC Studio Fix (have worn for 10+ yrs), both of which have a great shade range. I know many ppl love Bare Minerals but their lightest shade is too dark and orange and the one from Fenty was a great shade but the formula was patchy and settled quickly.
I'm sorry this is such a long comment but powder foundation is my favorite base product because it's just so easy and I honestly believe all skin types can wear it!

I really want to try this. I’ve seen people applying with damp blender in place of foundation. ♥️
    Looks great 👌🏽🤍
