To get that stutter effect I just automated the volume for the vocal track, having it cut out in 8ths and 16ths. There are some other ways to do it including one nifty trick involving a phaser, but for me it was easiest to get the sound I wanted by doing it manually.

i dunno about Pray, but the theme in this is called Prelude, from Final Fantasy. Each installment of FF has their own version of Prelude,
its generally the beginning intro piano music at the start screen of each FF..
