Could also play before they fight, maybe around the part with the Omega Timeline, though I think most likely Wistfully would play there like a montage of Dream getting new clothes 4. If I remember correctly, after several months I went back to watch the last episode again and realized that because I didn’t stay I missed the fact that Dream saved Cross (the whole reason Cream (the ship) exists today) so I was genuinely very confused at first as to why everyone kept shipping things and saying Dream saved Cross, and making predictions. My stupid 12 year old brain didn’t bother looking But I’m 15 now and I’m not gonna miss anything else I theorize because of the cover of it that Dream will be in another fight. Probably with Cross himself. (Don’t ask why I don’t wanna explain that theory yet, I don’t like publicly putting out theories anyways, so this is probably a one time thing for this series) They’ll fight and maybe Dream will try to talk to him. Cross will argue and Dream will argue and eventually the fighting will stop. That’s how I see it. If not, then why does Dream look so bad ass-I mean- Badly beaten on the cover? He also has new weapons as well.
Just occurred to me that now that 75% of the multiverse’s population is gone, both Nightmare and Dream are really weak right now (as shown by Dream using his blades instead of a bow, which is the usual indicator that he’s very low on positive feelings. Of course Dream is probably still stronger due to the Omega Timeline but we don’t know about Nightmare.

So it’s safe to say that Cross alongside an [albeit weakened] Dream could take him out

This scene made me cry :') This song means a lot to me, not just because of the context. It came out when a lot of things started to go south again, like the week before my cat died, my dance teacher was starting to get abusive towards me, things like that. It gave me a lot of hope though for some reason. I love this song and always will.
I know this is late but I am so sorry that those things are happening or happend to you. No person should have to go through abuse like that, and I know how hard it is to lose a close friend. Just know that things won't always be like that and you can't predict the future, so just hang on in there. Good things will happen too.

I think that Dream will be an important character (he has 2 themes and appears in Jakei's streams) also I think he will be one of the few that will help Cross, since I think nobody will want to do it, I don't think they will help him after stealing the soul to someone (cough cough Sans) it would be nice to see a team-- Also many say it jokingly but I think it will be true-- Dream will be a badass now-

I feel like this will be used for a flashback for when dream and nightmare were not fighting, so the good old days, and when this song starts to build up the flashback will start to go back to the present and show all of their fights and betrayals along with other problems that are going on. I feel like if this song is used for that then the scene will be emotional and dream will feel like to give up but cross will interrupt the flashback or tell dream that it'll be okay and continue to fight with dream by his side.

Listening to these Underverse themes I thought, ‘it would be cool if Dream had a cool, intense, action-packed song like some of the other characters, one that I could bop my head to.’ And then I listened to this and just thought, you know what, I’m fine with this. I like this a lot, and it fits the character more than any intense fight theme could. Even though it isn’t fast paced or energetic, it’s really enjoyable and I can imagine myself listening to it from time to time.
This sounds both regal and ancient it suits Dream in many aspects. I could see a change in clothing happening in during this theme or a talk about the Omega Timeline, I could also be very wrong :)

Even if I realized this three weeks later, hear me out. Isn't it interesting how Dream's theme songs are always so melanchonic, almost sad, when he's the protector of positive emotions?
The entire basis of Dream's character is to protect everyone else even though he himself is suffering. He heals others, but not himself. Dream prioritizes the safety of others over his own well-being unless it means the apple he defends will be destroyed. He'll play off any major wound he gains to prevent negativity from spreading in a crisis. He has to, for his own survival. Pretty ironic, right? A person who does the best he can in his situation, and yet despite his positivity, it too is a curse. In the end, he will always be alone to keep everyone safe.

There's something about this song that's so soothing, so peaceful, it's something that brings you out of a dark place, yet it also sounds tragic at the same time. It tells a story to me- one where someone is being comforted by another who understands pain, who listens and doesn't judge, someone who tells them all the right things. It sounds like the joyful memories of a sorrowful person, drowned in longing and lonliness. Absolutely beautiful, I still listen to this a lot when I need to think.

Damn Nyx, awesome piece of work you did here. I love how this and wistfully doesn’t pack any “battle theme” vibes, they actually represent dreams really well, or what they are meant to be, peaceful and relaxing, I loved it.

Listening to these Underverse themes I thought, ‘it would be cool if Dream had a cool, intense, action-packed song like some of the other characters, one that I could bop my head to.’ And then I listened to this and just thought, you know what, I’m fine with this. I like this a lot, and it fits the character more than any intense fight theme could. Even though it isn’t fast paced or energetic, it’s really enjoyable and I can imagine myself listening to it from time to time.

This sounds both regal and ancient it suits Dream in many aspects. I could see a change in clothing happening in during this theme or a talk about the Omega Timeline, I could also be very wrong :)

Isn't it interesting how Dream's theme songs are always so melanchonic, almost sad, when he's the protector of positive emotions?
The entire basis of Dream's character is to protect everyone else even though he himself is suffering. He heals others, but not himself. Dream prioritizes the safety of others over his own well-being unless it means the apple he defends will be destroyed. He'll play off any major wound he gains to prevent negativity from spreading in a crisis. He has to, for his own survival. Pretty ironic, right? A person who does the best he can in his situation, and yet despite his positivity, it too is a curse. In the end, he will always be alone to keep everyone safe.

There's something about this song that's so soothing, so peaceful, it's something that brings you out of a dark place, yet it also sounds tragic at the same time. It tells a story to me- one where someone is being comforted by another who understands pain, who listens and doesn't judge, someone who tells them all the right things. It sounds like the joyful memories of a sorrowful person, drowned in longing and lonliness.
Absolutely beautiful, I still listen to this a lot when I need to think.

У меня замирает сердце при прослушивании этой короткой, но такой любимой мелодии, потому что в голове я слышу слова из 0.6 эпизода. Я влюблена в эту мелодию, она вдохновляет не сдаваться, она помогла мне в очень сложный период жизни. Когда я была маленькой, я была такой же как Дрим!Санс: помогающей другим, доброй и понимающей, вдохновением для людей, которые опустили руки. А теперь мне нужна такая помощь. Её правда сложно получить извне, но эта песня, эти персонажи, крим (Дрим и Кросс), как мой любимый пэйринг - всё это помогает мне жить, радоваться и не сдаваться. Я так благодарна создательнице Дримтейла, за прекрасных Дрима и Найтмера; Джеки, за Андервёрс; и вашей чудесной музыке. Спасибо, от всей души 💗
