The origin of that comes from auto racing. At Indianapolis in the late 60's, the Unser brothers, Bobby and Al, one drove for Firestone and the other drove for Goodyear (tires, of course, tire sponsorships being a very big deal in racing in those days.) So Ma Unser showed up at Indianapolis for the race wearing a windbreaker that was split right down the middle, half Goodyear blue and half Firestone red, and on the back, half of each logo, so it said "Good-Stone".

Lived in Pittsburgh for a couple years (2010-2012) found a Flyers Jersey at a thrift store that said ibite and had the number 18( referencing Hartnell biting a players finger in a scrum) I bought that puppy for $4(never had money for a jersey back then) proudly wore that jersey for years and it even debuted as a zombie hockey player costume a couple times.
Mild one, but similar to #2: wearing a jersey to a game for a team/player that is unrelated to either team playing. I can understand wearing another team if the player originally played there in the past (Penguins Fleury jersey at a VGK game, for instance), but there's always a number of misplaced fans at any game. There was even a Toronto fan hate-watching the MTL/TOR final at $11,000 a ticket! This extends to the minors, too: every time I went to an AHL game this year in Vegas I saw a handful of NHL sweaters for Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Chicago, New York... even though every game was a Pacific team, due to the rules for this season. Wearing the jersey for a parent organization, like a VGK jersey at an HSK game, makes sense, but it was odd to scan the crowd at a San Jose Barracuda/Henderson Silver Knights game and see a #87 Pittsburgh Penguins jersey behind the glass.
I agree with not judging the person wearing the jersey. Sometimes people don't have a lot of money for Jerseys and can find jersey with fouls on them for a couple of bucks in a swift store. It's fun to wear jersey at the game even if it goes against the so called jersey rules.
Fun fact: my grandpa’s sister was married to George Konic, a member of that original Penguins team in 1967. He autographed a team photo for me a long time ago.
Agreed with your own name on the back. I have one jersey from each sport I follow (hockey, baseball & football) with my own name and the year I became a fan of said sport. Players come and go so fast that you’d spend a fortune keeping up with them. I know I’ll always be a fan & wont get traded for $1 and a stuffed-crust pizza to a rival team. So I have an avid jersey collection for all sports, and I have 2 Milwaukee Brewers baseball jerseys with my name on the back and with the number 95, due to me being born that year, to show that I have been a fan since birth. For those that have custom names, I agree with this fine gentleman that as long as there is meaning behind it, custom names and numbers are perfectly fine.
I wore a Vegas jersey in Calgary for a game against Washington lol. It was the inaugural season for Vegas and I was happy and proud I found a legit jersey. Thanks again man!
Back in the day , you go to a game, once in a blue moon(very long time) maybe you wear your fav team, not playing( yeah weird but understandable) Also ppl would say why have a Jersey not of your favorite team( ie only allowed one team)
You're never too old to wear a hockey jersey, Shannon. I only wished I lived somewhere where I could wear them more often. Unfortunately, it's too darn hot in Florida at leasr 7 months out of the year.
Life's easier when you realize you only have to make yourself happy. I have jerseys with my last name, and some that say "Sir Jeffrey" (because if you're going to be a Knight, why not use the title?). Yeah, some people give you grief because "I never played" to which I usually respond "I'm not pretending to be Marc-Andre Fleury". I do stick with three different numbers; 17 to represent the year Vegas entered the league, 58 because it's a retired number, and 98, because it's my personal "lucky" number. If / when Vegas wins the cup, I might letter a jersey with "Cup Winners" and the year as the number. The one thing I don't really like is advertising, and even then it's tricky. Attorney Ed Bernstein has a seat pretty close to mine, and wears either a "Nuff Said" or "Call Ed" jersey, but, then again, he also sponsors the penalty kill. I've seen a few that advertise a real estate agency. I sort of toss that into a "not thrilled, but not worth getting upset about". Oh, and my custom VGK jersey was not delivered in time for either the preseason or the first home VGK game back in 2017. I wore a Las Vegas Wranglers jersey. I have the panoramic photo giveaway they had taken on opening Knight, and it helped me locate myself (not that it would have been too difficult, and I just have to move up the blue line from reverse center up several rows). It might have been third party to the game, but reflected Vegas and hockey.
The most amusing jersey I've seen was during a Red Wings game against the Canadiens last season or the season before that. It was a Canadiens jersey. For the name it said "Leafs suck" and the number was 67.
@@Fries2602 Just get a custom leaf's Jersey last name "Losers Since" and make the number 67 I use to live in Toronto and would see it all the time even at jays games?
Your video just made me remember that long ago I saw a Tugnutt Nordiques jersey at a game in Edmonton. The wearer even got Tugnutt's attention in the pregame warmup and he smiled. Tugnutt was such an underrated goalie.
Who the heck puts an age limit on wearing hockey jerseys (or any other sport for that matter)??? I've never heard that before and my mind is blown (I'm 42)
Problem with getting a jersey with a name on it, is if they get traded and then are hated after they come back, ie: max pacorietty Canadiens jersey, waste of money, I always get my own name, makes me feel as part of the team
I have a my Stars winter classic with Zubov’s name. I’ve always thought if someone’s gonna complain about the jersey someone else wears, buy them a new, more accurate one then.
One thing you can do if you have a jersey with your name on it, is wear it to a game and when you inevitably run into one of those super mega "I know everything about this team" fans that will give you crap about it, is tell them "what you've never heard of ______? He was one of the most underrated players of his time, some fan you are.", and watch them panic to find any info on a player with that name.
I have always thought the concept of a grown person being so concerned about what another grown person is wearing they go to the trouble of making a Facebook post about it on team fan pages was a bit strange. Its one thing to see it and kind of go 'huh, what???' and another to rant, rave and ridicule someone on Facebook. Back in the day in Nashville we needed every fan we could get to keep the team, and it was a good site seeing hockey fans in the building that were not a fan of either team playing representing their team.
I agree W most but at some point whatever makes people happy should be fine. I saw a little kid w a blackhawks 23 Jordan jersey… he looked happy… good for him
Went to a game in St Louis with the Blues playing against the Flames. I wore my Rangers jersey and my wife was in a Blackhawks winter classic. We got put up in the screen with a message reading “are they lost?”. We were both booed heavily
Kings fan here. In the 2012 Finals at Gm.6 there was a guy in a section near me who wore his Kings jersey personalized "CUPB4IDIE." He'd worn that jersey to games for several years. Lots of us in the area came by at the 1st intermission when the Kings lead, 3-1 to congratulate him on finally being able to retire it.
I do own a couple with my name and number on it. I like Shannon”s reasoning along with the players get moved reason. That and I figure it’s my money, I deserve to be happy with it. I wear 95 as it’s my beer league number, it’s not used much (Mat Duchene, Alexei Morozov) and it’s the year my daughter was born. I’ve often wondered about wearing 0 or 00 as no player can wear it.
I go on a lot of business trips and love to catch games. When I go I wear my Kings jersey. I’m just there for a good time. I don’t have a name on my jersey. I see a lot of “Chiefs” jerseys. The team from Slapshot
I've got my name on 3 jerseys. My thoughts were always that players come and go but I'll always be a fan. Besides the jersey is for the individual, so ultimately, if you like it, you do you.
imo I think jersey fouls are just a way of gatekeeping and policing how other people enjoy being a fan. my favourite is my parents got custom jerseys the first year the jets came back and my mom got hers with 4 on it (later 5) for how many kids she had, as well as the captain's C because she was the captain of the family. she was at the bar at one of the games and some dude was like "there's no one named carriere! or a captain!" along with a bunch of other bs. my mom just went "well of course there is - I have the jersey don't I?" if you think of sports in terms of " traditional fandom," it's encouraged to express yourself. like, for example, star trek, people make costumes or make their own character and then cosplay that character. it's all a way of expressing your fandom and having fun with it. ultimately it's harmless and usually really funny. just seems like stodgy types trying to gatekeep fandom from becoming what is viewed as being a "loser" (being an extreme fan of star trek is stereotypical "loser" behaviour but being an extreme fan of a sport is more socially acceptable - social norms are changing, however. this isn't an episode of the big bang theory). as someone who has spent time in fandom spaces, especially those dominated by young women, it's just how I've come to perceive this situation. jersey fouls is a way of shaming people from making sports fandom silly because, as we all know, it's Very Serious Business. (this is probably poorly worded and ramble-y. idk if it makes sense, but I have Thoughts).
Only time a frankenjersey is allowed is if it’s a mother wearing two sons jerseys... I know the Staal’s mom used to wear them when the brothers played against eachother
My friend took me to a Ducks-Sharks pre-season game a couple years back and some guy there had a custom throwback Sharks jersey number: 00 name: CupsWon. It was hilarious.
I feel like I all gotta thank you for this video, It's one I come back to a lot even though I know your stance. I wish more people had your mindset, and I'm sure you've guided some to a more welcoming mindset. If it's the right team, and it's spelled right, get it. Today I saw the Hockey Jerseys subreddit bully someone off for getting Kane on a reebok red wings white instead of an Adidas. The same stripe, the same font, the neckline and the logo that gets blocked by a hoodie is the only difference in look. How toxic can a community get?
A bit of habs jersey history in the making...the company making the #s for the habs jerseys ran out of #2 due to higher than expected demand for caufield #22.
Could you imagine wearing an actual wool sweater and playing a intense sport like hockey. I can understand that perhaps back in the day those arenas might have been pretty cold, or when kids were outside playing in open air rinks having a hockey sweater might have served a purpose.
I bought a Coyotes Kachina puck as a Red Wings fan at my first ever game between the Wings and the Penguins in the 96/97 season. It was supposed to be Mario Lemieux's last game in Detroit but he ended up coming back out of retirement. That Kachina design just looked so cool to 10 or 11 year old me.
My biggest jersey foul: It's not wearing fake jerseys (to each their own), but selling fake jerseys at authentic prices, hoping to fool an ignorant soul who doesn't understand the difference.
All of my personalized jerseys are with my name. Most are Chicago Wolves jerseys because I am a fan of the team and not just one player. I do have a few non Wolves jersey the Fort Wayne Komets which I won in a contest, a South Florida Ice Bulls which they were selling to raise funds for a tournament trip, and a beer league team in Nashville
That makes me think of Carlos May, who played for the White Sox in the 70's. He wore number 17. So on the back of his uniform shirt it said his name MAY with the number 17 underneath. You might guess that May 17th is Carlos May's birthday.
I put my name on some jerseys. Depends on the team. Panthers never really had a player that was deemed safe. Until Hub and Barkov. It had longer staying power. I like going to the arena knowing I’m good any given year. My second home is Connecticut but I’m not a canes fan so I put my last name on the green whalers jersey because that meant more to me because I was a fan of them. But my favorite team is the New York rangers. I’ll always have a jersey of my current favorite player on the team. So it all depends on the jersey, team, and time. Nothing wrong personalizing your name and being a fan of the front crest which is the most important part and having fun.
I wear custom jerseys with my last name and year I was born. I prefer custom jerseys because players move on/retire, but I plan on being a fan for a very long time. They're a bit more expensive, but seeing my name on my favorite team's jersey is amazing!
Seattle has been leaning into the number 32. They just named the bar at their practice facility "32 Bar and Grill", for example. I agree with your list, tho. I think the 3rd party jersey thing isn't odd, since a lot of us are jersey collectors and like to show off our stuff. They're usually a representation of what teams/players you like, even if they're not present that night. I agree with putting your own name being maybe a little iffy, but it's just something I wouldn't do.
You have my attention Sir! My rules are simple, while I personally do try to avoid putting players names on jerseys that they never wore (EG Gretzky in a 2007 era Rebook OIlers jersey) I feel you can wear (a) any jersey either of the 2 teams wore, at any point in their history (b) any jersey of a specific player currently in the game even if it is from another team. I once saw an article about this that suggested it was forbidden to (a) wear any jersey with your own name on it and (b) can't wear any jersey with a player that is younger than you....stupid.
The whole point of getting a custom jersey is getting your name or nickname on it like showing you are an ultimate fan. Also getting a player who does not have their jersey for sale and now has become a starter or the like.
My local team was a AA team, and we had 2 groups of jerseys in the stands. The big fans wore their charity auction game worn jersey, and the casuals wore the jersey of whatever NHL city they were from. I also bought my best friend tickets to the stadium series game at the AF academy, as he's a big Av's fan. I'm not so I wore my Flyers stadium series jersey from the year before
My favorite story comes from about 8 years ago. I was at a Leafs game for my birthday and at dinner before the game, across the aisle, was a table of Leafs fans. One was wearing a jersey with Mahovlich on the back and I went through dinner kind of chuckling. I finally leaned over and said, "Have you not found a player you could root for since goalies started wearing masks?" He answered something like "there's one in every crowd" and we both had a little laugh.
I have personally done the third party thing to MLB games. I don't have all the teams and we like to visit other stadiums just to see other teams and parks. Its just a plain Detroit home jersey with no name or number. At that point, I'm just a fan of the game and if I get a few high fives from fellow fans, more fun to it. On another note: if you want crazy jerseys, check out the Kalamazoo growlers baseball team. Anything from selfie jerseys, emojis, cows, children's hospital, etc. Cool promotions and fun looks on the field! Great for family small town teams.
Very good video Shannon & congrats on 200K subs. I have a mix of NHL Team Jerseys that have players names and #s as well as ones with my last name on them with a # to reflect a special year. Such as #50 for celebrating the ‘nucks 50th season. The jerseys that have my name on it are mostly used when playing Ice hockey or Ball Hockey. When playing in Beer league tournaments it’s easier for Refs and linesman to populate the scoresheet. Exception to this is when the team has our own custom jersey & have to wear it in the tourney.
$250 for an authentic jersey. That player gets traded or leaves in free agency. That’s $250 out the window. I don’t mind those who put their own name on the jersey.
Found an old stock 50/50 home/away islanders jersey when a sporting goods store closed. Spent to have the appropriate color letting and numbers. Originally planned on newly named young captain Rian McCabe, but they traded him for Trevor Linden the day before I dropped him off... I liked Linden from his cup final vs the dreaded Rangers so I got his name and number, with the "C". Traded before the end of the season, I never wear it... Even years later.
#2. The NHL Auction site sells NHL Jersey's autographed with name and number by a player from another sport. Gronk Bruins or Lightning jersey, Mike Piazza Islander jersey. THEN they also sell Vice Versa like Baseball, Football, or basketball jerseys with the NHL player's name on them. It ONLY works if the athlete is invited by the other sports team to a game and they give them a jersey to wear for like the First pitch or be on the field before the game. Like other sports, athletes do puck drops wearing hockey jerseys.
Here in Winnipeg I’ve seen a few Jets/Canadiens mashups, and about 8-9 years back one of my friends and his kid stitched Jets and Leafs jerseys together. I haven’t found any of those mashups to be ugly, but….. that’s a lot of money, man. Especially considering, while it isn’t necessarily ugly, it still doesn’t look good. I’ve also noticed watching some Habs games that there’s a guy in the front seats wearing a Habs/Preds mashup where he has the Sabre-tooth overlapping the ‘C’ in a really creative way. If you’re going to stitch two jerseys together that’s the best I’ve seen done.
When Ottawa came out with their heritage jersey. Me being raised in Pembroke, ON the hometown of Frank Nighbor, I got his name and the number 6 put on the jersey.
I prefer 'era correct' names and numbers on jerseys, but agree that putting 9 / HOWE on a CCM Detroit jersey is absolutely ok as there's no way I want to wear one of those thick wool sweaters on.
The worst is when you get your last name on a jersey with your favorite number, and then a couple years later a player that has the same last name as you get on the team but with a different number of course. Then you look dumb cause it looks like you got the wrong number for the player.
my friend has a flyers jersey with crosby’s name and number. and this is a jersey foul but also a sick power move. as a flyers fan, i find this absolutely thrilling knowing they wear that to games.
Sometimes when I go to Coyotes games, there’s a group of people that sit in the lower bowl that all wear Frankenjerseys for OEL. Half AZ/Half SWE. I assume they’re probably close friends and family. I thought those were pretty cool, and it actually makes sense.
Hi Shannon greetings from the 🇬🇧 talking about 3 party jerseys I was watching the euros game the other night Italy v Austria and saw the most random jersey on an Austrian fan a Washington nationals jersey not sure 🤔 but hey
This 67 jersey just reminded me the last time the Leafs made a cup final was when their were only the original six teams + 6 brand new expansion teams. Oy vei.
Yeah, I would really only get a Jersey with my Name on it just for when I want to sit at home and wear it. Being a St. Louis Fan, I want to have a Jersey with my Name and my Jersey number of my choice because when I was younger I wanted to be a Hockey Player but as I got older I was never good enough to do so. Like I could get a Jersey with a Player on that team but as someone else mentioned, how long will that player be one that team.
The local hockey team the ECHL Jacksonville Icemen did a sport mix jersey with the Minor League Triple-A Jumbo Shrimp Baseball team, on the jersey it says "Frozen Shrimp" and it's the Jumbo Shrimp logo but holding a hockey stick, and the colors changed from two shades of pink to two shades of blue to make the Shrimp logo appear as it's frozen. It's the one local teams jersey I wish i had.
This convo reminds me of those crazy tattoos people get of their team being champions before they even win. Also, I had to switch my Stuetzle jersey name tag to a Stützle. I love the ü because it’s a happy face. This seems like the right video to put that out there
I actually do have a Jersey with my own last name on it. It’s a white Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Jersey that was on sale for $100. So I got my last name and my lucky number 47. If it wasn’t on sale I would not have bought it
A woman who attends TD Garden - probably a season ticket holder - has this gorgeous Frankenjersey of Bourque. Half Bruins and half Avalanche and at first I was aghast but jeeze... it looks so damn good up close I couldn't knock it!!
Th only phrase jerseys I've been okay with is some Golden Knights fans have #17 VEGAS STRONG or #58 and I'm cool with people honoring the victims of the shooting.
The notable exception to the Franken-Jersey foul is when parents are attending a game both their kids are playing in. Those are pretty cool.

The Tsujimoto jerseys are the most hilarious ones in the league...
Have seen them at Sabres games more than a few times
The most amusing jersey I've seen was during a Red Wings game against the Canadiens last season or the season before that. It was a Canadiens jersey. For the name it said "Leafs suck" and the number was 67.
A habs or wings jersey?
@@hharrybboy My bad, it was a Habs jersey.
They're not wrong though.
@@zjean3417 not at all.
@@hharrybboy You're a good sport.
What about the leaf's one that says "Losers since 67" ?
Those should be sold at Walmart accross the land!
id buy
Where can I find this?

I remember seeing Phoenix Coyotes Gretzky jerseys when he was the coach there
I have a my Stars winter classic with Zubov’s name.
This sums up the question " what does The Hockey Guy do when there's no hockey to watch? "
Great conversation lol.
End of the day buy and do whatever you want, express yourself love what you do and what you have.
Any Kings/Ducks Frankenjersey I see at Honda Center just raises many, many, questions. lol
I always liked the Oakland Seals jersey the green and gold looked great
If the Oakland A's ever actually get a new stadium. We need Stars vs Sharks, Dallas in their Oakland Seals and Sharks in their 91 OG jerseys!
Don't forget the white skates to go with it!
How about Tom Brady on an Expos Jersey , yeah , they drafted him as a catcher ...
How bout a Tom Glavine Kings Jersey
Or a Michael Jordan White Sox jersey.
Russell Wilson Yankees jersey
Patrick Mahomes Detroit tigers jersey
Yeah, but Tom Brady never actually played for the Expos baseball team, did he?
One jersey phrase that I like is some Canes fans have “Category 5” jerseys
I go on a lot of business trips and love to catch games. When I go I wear my Kings jersey. I’m just there for a good time. I don’t have a name on my jersey. I see a lot of “Chiefs” jerseys. The team from Slapshot
It amuses me what people think they can and can’t judge others on.
I've got my name on 3 jerseys. My thoughts were always that players come and go but I'll always be a fan. Besides the jersey is for the individual, so ultimately, if you like it, you do you.
My favorite one I’ve come across was a 69 Nicé
imo I think jersey fouls are just a way of gatekeeping and policing how other people enjoy being a fan. my favourite is my parents got custom jerseys the first year the jets came back and my mom got hers with 4 on it (later 5) for how many kids she had, as well as the captain's C because she was the captain of the family. she was at the bar at one of the games and some dude was like "there's no one named carriere! or a captain!" along with a bunch of other bs. my mom just went "well of course there is - I have the jersey don't I?"
if you think of sports in terms of " traditional fandom," it's encouraged to express yourself. like, for example, star trek, people make costumes or make their own character and then cosplay that character. it's all a way of expressing your fandom and having fun with it. ultimately it's harmless and usually really funny. just seems like stodgy types trying to gatekeep fandom from becoming what is viewed as being a "loser" (being an extreme fan of star trek is stereotypical "loser" behaviour but being an extreme fan of a sport is more socially acceptable - social norms are changing, however. this isn't an episode of the big bang theory). as someone who has spent time in fandom spaces, especially those dominated by young women, it's just how I've come to perceive this situation. jersey fouls is a way of shaming people from making sports fandom silly because, as we all know, it's Very Serious Business.
(this is probably poorly worded and ramble-y. idk if it makes sense, but I have Thoughts).
Watching this video in my half white, half red Montreal Canadiens Wayne Gertzky sweater.
What about a #49 Tampa Bay Gretzky jersey? Brent Gretzky played 13 games for the Lightning wearing that jersey!
I’ve worn a Coyotes Kachina jersey to a Flames-Red Wings game in Detroit.
I have an Adidas with Koivu on the back.
I bought a Coyotes Kachina puck as a Red Wings fan at my first ever game between the Wings and the Penguins in the 96/97 season. It was supposed to be Mario Lemieux's last game in Detroit but he ended up coming back out of retirement. That Kachina design just looked so cool to 10 or 11 year old me.
congrats on 200K subs.
Cha-ching
My biggest jersey foul: It's not wearing fake jerseys (to each their own), but selling fake jerseys at authentic prices, hoping to fool an ignorant soul who doesn't understand the difference.
All of my personalized jerseys are with my name. Most are Chicago Wolves jerseys because I am a fan of the team and not just one player. I do have a few non Wolves jersey the Fort Wayne Komets which I won in a contest, a South Florida Ice Bulls which they were selling to raise funds for a tournament trip, and a beer league team in Nashville
If Mike Commodore ever wore the #64 I would have bought a jersey of his. Regardless of team.
@Paul McGrannite Thanks! I missed it......
@@LoosMoose Commodore 64
That makes me think of Carlos May, who played for the White Sox in the 70's. He wore number 17. So on the back of his uniform shirt it said his name MAY with the number 17 underneath. You might guess that May 17th is Carlos May's birthday.
Steve Heinze wore 57, that was a fun combo
What about an Adams 42 jersey from his Maple Leaf days .
1967-68, they were the expansion jerseys, never worn again after year 1.
I do this too
Me, too!
I would do something like this but instead of the year I was born. I would put 17 since I'm obsessed with that number.
I have 2 jerseys with jersey foul, Brind'amour Adidas, and one with my name that was a gift from my grandfather so I love it
I have personally done the third party thing to MLB games.
About the misspelled jerseys, only one I would want is a "Gretkzy" Rangers jersey, just cause that happened in an actual game and would be a fun story
Bless you bro, sometimes you make me laugh out loud. Keep up the good work!
200k! Woohoo!
I usually wear a Charleston Cheifs jersey to Flyers games......and make lots of new friends.
I started wearing my name because players are traded too often in nowadays.
MY freind had a custom one made when vegas came in the league and he put sin city in the back plate and 69 as the number
As Steve Dangle might say: “WHY NOT?!”
It can happen, but if someone asked, they would understand it being a custom jersey of yourself.
The word he is referring to is “tomfoolery” for anybody wondering :)
I saw Habs jersey #24 STANLEY years ago.
In Winnipeg, you can go to a game and see 2 persons with the jerseys STANLEY and COPP.
my friend has a flyers jersey with crosby’s name and number. and this is a jersey foul but also a sick power move. as a flyers fan, i find this absolutely thrilling knowing they wear that to games.
I feel the same way about those split jerseys lol drives me crazy when it comes to those stripes not matching
I’ll never stop wearing jerseys. Don’t care how old I am. I’m trying to get a jersey from one great player from every team.
Whos the Flyer you want?
Family support is the best XD. Glad you listen to you're guts, cheers mate !!
This reminded me of a question I have. What do you think of a fan wearing his own beer league jersey to an NHL game.
Blue Habs jersey with Beliveau , or the 100th anniversary one with Beliveau ,
This 67 jersey just reminded me the last time the Leafs made a cup final was when their were only the original six teams + 6 brand new expansion teams. Oy vei.
No comment on the 00 Griswold? I'm mostly pretty purist when it comes to custom jerseys & such, but its such a classic that I have to love it
I recall Wayne Gretzky playing an actual regular season game with a spelling error in his name on his jersey :). It was during his time with Rangers.
The only excuse for those half and half jerseys of two teams is when a parent has two kids in the league that play for different teams.
Yup. Only parents can get away with that. Like how the Tkachuk’s do it and I think also the Hughes
@@SMA2343 i think the Hughs parents might have to have triple jerseys lol
This convo reminds me of those crazy tattoos people get of their team being champions before they even win. Also, I had to switch my Stuetzle jersey name tag to a Stützle. I love the ü because it’s a happy face. This seems like the right video to put that out there
I actually do have a Jersey with my own last name on it. It’s a white Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Jersey that was on sale for $100. So I got my last name and my lucky number 47. If it wasn’t on sale I would not have bought it
That Penguin’s 67-68 is my favourite NHL of all time. The stripes, the Columbia blue, the Rangers style font.
Man, they mixed up the Ts up in the Petterson jersey 😂
They screwed up a Richardson jersey during a Kings game... It was missing the D...
