Hey Feckers. So in the next 2 weeks I have to have more tests on my heart and see a specialist as my BPM is well below 60 constantly. As a result I've had to accept some sponsors (Sorry I know you hate them) But I need to get this fixed and If I don't see this specialist then it could take years in the Irish public health sector to get seen. I don't know if i have bradycardia or if its something surgery can fix, its scary and its the main reason why my channel has been so erratic over the last 2 years. 2-3 weeks of no videos because I have no energy to make them due to low BPM. Maybe Ill make a video to better explain this? I have 1 sponsor this week but the video will be chaptered so you can work around it. Hopefully you understand this.
Tater needs his Ticker taken care of, so its obvious that sacrifices need to be made. If some can't accept that, then its their loss. Besides where else can I get my weekly fix o' that Irish accent?
yeah, Im kinda hoping for a story mode and some straight pve content honestly. This DOES sound dope but I feel like it could get stale fast or really cheesy, which worries me. I liked playing gambit though so here's to hoping!
Even the pvp section can feel more so as pve than pvp. That's due to primary objectives which can be completed simply by killing dinos. Hammer and the energy gather modes I played felt exactly like that. With roadblock I blocked the enemy team with my teammates killing dinos and picking off weakened players. Doesn't feel like you benefit simply by killing other players, but for going after the main objective. So pvp is there, but it's not a death match. Teams I played with focused on the objective instead of hunting down other players.
Knowing how some players can be when it comes to any pvp game, invading other teams like, kinda puts me off. I know it's said to be a PvPvE game but still.
The game has a Story in the works. ((Been following the game for a while there's a lot he doesn't touch on in this such as how detailed map interactions and cobat is such as a Tank based player if using the one with a large Fist and Shield is capable of Grabbing a Dinosaurs head or jaw to stop it from atking a fellow team8 but the funny part is in one of the demos when it was 1st announced had a player Grab a triceratops then punch it so hard it was knocked into an invading Rex when the tanker put up their shield and rammed both dinos into the side of a Building that collapsed on them insta-killing the Dinos & the Tank player) The gameplay with PVP is specifically only the PVP side of the game. As for the story side there's very little of the story we know about ATM other than it being Open-worldish based and that an AI ment to create a New world for humans to move to becomes corrupt and starts experimenting on humans and animals as well as their survivabilities and weaknesses the AI's name is Leviathan.
I've only watched one other video on this game, but I quickly learned the meta is having a roadblock turtle in a shield and have the rest of the team destroy anything that dares think of attacking it lol
In my experience maining mostly Roadblock, the best strat was to spam the taunt to gather enemies for the DPSs to focus instead of using the shield, and overwork the healer.
The conclusion I have drawn is, ALWAYS HAVE A SUPPORT. Everyone crying for nerfs already because they got ganked, whe. Reality is, there was no support to heal you. It is imperative. You will lose if you don't have support for each encounter.
The idea that Dinos vs. Mechs is a match is kinda silly. A .50 BMG or a 40mm GL would do massive damage to any T-Rex, longboi or Triceratops, and probably take it out immediately if you get a head or center-mass hit. Even with the Triceratops shield. As for the flocks of smaller ones, machine-guns and machine-shotguns would be likely to have great effect.
This was the idea I wanted for warframe. One player could invade a squad as their operator (void demon) and control the environment and enemies to sabotage the mission of the squad.
What if there were 2 options. One being the void demon with all that you said they could do, or a playable Stalker to confront the other team more directly. I like this idea a lot, and with good rewards, it could bring PvPvE into Warframe very nicely.
@@phantomstrike50 Controlling the Stalker is just one Void Demon power. The player could also control bombards, bursas, eximus, etc. They just use transferance to move between bodies. They could also use other voide powers like locking doors, activating tile hazzards like radiation, magnetism, low gravity, etc. The squad won't even be able to see the Operator of the invading player. They'll just feel something's off because one second that Mesa was using her 4 to protect the pod and then next everyone is bleeding out because the Mesa got rad status from something.
I've been really excited for this game since it's first ever trailer. HOWEVER, there are two things I learned that kinda killed hype for this game: 1. The game is ONLINE ONLY, so no offline play, a connection is REQUIRED, and it's needed even for the story, which leads to my 2nd issue. 2. The "Story/Campaign" is locked behind the PvPvE mode, which is dinosaur Survival. So if you want to do the story, you still gotta fight other players, which is a real killer for PvE players like myself. Still, the game LOOKS cool and fun, but I really hope the story can be run through PvE mode
Game mechanic-wise, it sounds a lot like Destiny 2's Gambit game mode, which is not exactly the most popular. Hopefully they have pure PVE as well, otherwise they'll be missing a big market of players.
This game is fun until the point where there's PvP, at which point it devolves into the enemy team constantly holding hands. If there's a good amount of solely PvE content I'll buy it.
Looking at it at first it looked fun, but upon hearing that its PvPvE... well, im not quite excited for it. If one of the modes is exclusivley PvE, id be more excited to play it, but even then im not a big fan of battlepass-type systems in games, and they absolutly feel jaring and out of place more often than not. As an example, Mechwarrior 5 got a half-assed battlepass. A single player sim-lite mecha game, with a Battlepass that will never have new seasons, just feels wrong to have it. Sure, they have their place, and sure some people like that sort of thing, but I dont. And thats okay. It looked fun, but now I dont think I will even wishlist the game.
I was too busy trying the Diablo 4 beta early access to even remember this was a thing Here’s hoping they don’t fuck it up at launch, but I didn’t get the chance to try it at all
I played it, I enjoyed a few of the pvp aspects, but the "final mission" phase irked me, I'm a care bearm so most games that feature pvp, I tend to avoid. I love the race against the other team, the reminder if you're clearing the objectives faster or slower than the other team. I even liked that the losing team can enhance the larger dinosaurs. Honestly, playing it made me a little sad as I needed a new Exosuit game, but it focus on pvp may earn it a pass from me.
I feel like this idea has no way of succeeding in the longterm because of how spastic it seems. I mean, ARK Survival made it work all these years, so maybe this game can, too, but I'm very doubtful.
Paying $0 to have all the suits and all of the rigs in order to play Destiny's gambit mode against other players with the same gear was pretty fun. Paying $90 to have some of the suits and some of the rigs in order to play Destiny's gambit mode against other players that might have more gear than me sounds pretty not fun. No word on dedicated PvE and PvP modes also makes me wary (Story mode is integrated in the PvEvP, so if you're playing with your mates be prepared to wait on eachother's cutscenes). It's a shame, playing as robots with cute butts and big guns, and fighting dino hordes alongside friends, sounds like it should be a slam dunk of a game to sell.
The Demo only let u play the PVP side of the game iirc. The Story has been under development and they haven't given us much to go off of over the last few years and have directly snipped leaks for it as if it's story is being set up for something huge. One leak hinted that the story side of the game is Open-world
Its PvP was slightly better than warframe PvP. Major similarities. That is to say its largely non-functional. Everything else about the game was cool and fun though. I will just be staying away from any mode that is frame V frame. Frame V player controlled dino was fine.

Do what you can my man, some people have to make do with the public option, fortunately you can sidestep the wait 🙏
Sending much love and good vibes. Sorry bout yer bum ticker ❤ I hope you can find the care you need!
Tater needs his Ticker taken care of, so its obvious that sacrifices need to be made. If some can't accept that, then its their loss. Besides where else can I get my weekly fix o' that Irish accent?
It took me a while until I realized that I just watched a fucking flying robot suit shooting spells at dinosaurs
That's sick as hell
I personally really enjoyed it but would love to have a pve focused mode as opposed to the pvevp that the beta has
Be nice to have both options, maybe one of the other modes would will pure pve
Yeah I was interested in this till I saw the pvp element. Hopefully they have some fun pve modes too.

Dude im actually looking forward to alot of games this year. Atlas fallen caught my eye.
Best way I can describe it is Overwatch or Paladins meets Destiny's Gambit with dinosaurs.
First thing I thought was gambit
I really enjoyed the beta, It reminds me a lot of Gambit from Destiny 2! Will definitely be playing it when it comes to gamepass.
I'd just want to mess around as a dinosaur.
This looks like Sci-Fi Primal Carnage.
The conclusion I have drawn is, ALWAYS HAVE A SUPPORT. Everyone crying for nerfs already because they got ganked, whe. Reality is, there was no support to heal you. It is imperative. You will lose if you don't have support for each encounter.
Oh for sure, any match I had with no support was an instant loss almost.
Looks like warframe with dinosaurs
Left4Dead vibes
Everybody trying to get into that Destiny/Warframe market.
The idea that Dinos vs. Mechs is a match is kinda silly.

Comparing this game to Gambit is the best Comparison I have heard for this game

If anything this makes me wish Evolve was still around.
Looks fun, sadly won't be able to play it cuz no money
Yeah i played this good game.
So.......its basically evolved but with dinosaurs lol looks fun
I like what the game does with the gameplay look shifting from PvE to PvP at the end. It's interesting.
hell no, your whole pve progress can be tossed out because of that pvp
they need a separe only pve mode
Game mechanic-wise, it sounds a lot like Destiny 2's Gambit game mode, which is not exactly the most popular. Hopefully they have pure PVE as well, otherwise they'll be missing a big market of players.

This does look good. I have played a good bit of second extinction, and this gives me similar vibes mixed with pvp.

This is just gambit from destiny with extra steps
somehow it remids me of Firefall, rip firefall - you could've become a great game
I was too busy trying the Diablo 4 beta early access to even remember this was a thing
Here’s hoping they don’t fuck it up at launch, but I didn’t get the chance to try it at all
Oh I was on Diablo as well. Can't wait to try Druid next week
Why couldn't Anthem do this
I played it, I enjoyed a few of the pvp aspects, but the "final mission" phase irked me, I'm a care bearm so most games that feature pvp, I tend to avoid. If there is a mode where there is pve only then il give it a shot(provided its free that is)
I feel like this idea has no way of succeeding in the longterm because of how spastic it seems. I mean, ARK Survival made it work all these years, so maybe this game can, too, but I'm very doubtful.
its hard to gete xcited for games like this after the big fail that was evolved or w/e it was called
So left 4 dead but dinos

I tried the beta on ps5 and I'm not sure it's worth the 59.99usd it feels like it is more of a f2p.
The Demo only let u play the PVP side of the game iirc.

@fusion5853 ok, I hadn't heard anything from this game until I saw the Beta on Ps store so 🤷
Just give me EDF6 please
The idea sounds like a cool single player game. But as a $60 PVP game…. Yeah no. I’m good
Doesn't seem fun...
Its PvP was slightly better than warframe PvP. Major similarities. That is to say its largely non-functional. Everything else about the game was cool and fun though. I will just be staying away from any mode that is frame V frame. Frame V player controlled dino was fine.
