I personally love the sound of the T68a tram acceleration noise. The T68 regular doesnt really make one.

I always got the impression that the Bury line was little changed from its days as a train line, obviously there was some TLC done with the stops and the track was redone, but other than that

Yeah, they really didn’t have to do much to get the line converted (which was one of the reasons they chose that line for the tram route)
