Hotel Review #1: York Hotel | Undiscovered hotel in Orchard?! Cheap & Big Rooms!

A Singaporean living in Singapore!
Welcome to my first ever hotel review in Singapore! I booked through Traveloka for a 3D2N stay for a total (incl. taxes) at SGD$359! That's SGD$89.75 per person per night!
Due to the pandemic, we can't fly. So yes, here we are starting our hotel review with something less known to people and at an affordable price.
As mentioned in the video, there are 2 parking areas available for York Hotel.
One is through Goodwood Park Hotel (unsheltered).
The other is via Mount Elizabeth (sheltered)
Either way, parking coupons are given! (2 per day)
For bathtubs lovers, BOOK THE DELUXE ROOM! No need to request and you can have a bathtub to soak in :)
5 - 7 mins walk via Mount Elizabeth to reach Paragon Medical Centre but WARNING!! There is no shelter throughout the walk, so during rainy days, it's a hassle.
Another thing to mention is that the rooms do not provide BATHROBES & BEER OPENER.
Bathrobes are available upon request (20-30mins wait)
For beer opener, you have to go down to Level 1 White Rose Cafe to take. YOURSELF!
Ratings in MY opinion:
Cleanliness: 8/10
Service: 7/10
*Would be 10/10 if we didn't need to head down in PJs to get the opener
Location: 7/10
Price: 8/10
Overall, would totally recommend if you want to stay in Orchard but not willing to pay a premium for a staycation!
