Is this for Tourrider only? Or apllies to other model like Tourismo, Citaro and Intouro
FCG is fitted as standard in other vehicles such as the Tourrider, Tourismo, Intouro and also in the Setra TopClass and ComfortClass. The FCG is not fitted in city cars.

Airbags should be installed in buses as soon as possible. It would be much better if it was any brand from the Daimler group that brought this about. This would be like a revolution for buses.
The implementation of an airbag system in a bus presents a number of challenges. While modern trucks, such as the Mercedes-Benz Actros, already have airbags, the situation in a bus is fundamentally different. In contrast to a truck, where the driver sits above the engine, the driver's seat in a bus is significantly lower. This requires a special adaptation of the airbag system and makes the integration of an airbag one of the more complex tasks that we are currently tackling.

Or isn't the airbag needed since the steering wheel is lowered and doesnt contact the head directly ?
