Two pieces of advice I got about writing that I wanna pass on- You never learn how to write a novel, you only learn how to write a specific book, and you only know how once it's done. and the second one, from Neil Gaiman- Write your first draft as rough and messy as possible, then go back around and make it look like you did it on purpose. Writing is more like drawing than people think, a first draft is like a sketch, figuring out where everything goes, going back and making changes and moving back and forth and swapping things around until you like the overall promise, and then going over and cleaning everything up.
I'm a 33 old bearded rugged male but that kid's package with their own little figures was adorable, almost brought a tear to my eye. The fact that your channel means so much to them that they sent you those is great. I'm glad UA-cam isn't ruining all kids.
We were making cookies and I remember one time my little sister snuck playdough in the cookies and the next day,when we woke up there was a big bite out the playdough cookie and few of our things were knocked down and on the plate was a note saying "0/10 wouldn't eat again -santa" LOLL so far that's still my favorite Christmas💀💀

We were taught to thank our parents instead, which was admitedly a little less magical but had its own perks. My bio family couldn't always afford holidays growing up. i feel like the transition from being forced to learn in highschool compared to the much more independently driven nature of collage/university is crazy. i loved learning content in highschool but hated how it was directed. i'm not good at sitting for long periods and being forced into a task. the 9-4 nature of highschool was extremely challenging for me. once i got to a university it was a whole different story. i enjoy learning a lot more as i can go more at my pace and style along with learning topics i'm actually interested in. i can take breaks when i need to and my schooling can be very flexible around my life.

i like to imagine that Crabatha came from a rough background, leading her to change her entire look and life style. She travels the ocean wide in search for treasure to try top help her get her mind off her past. along her travels she meets her now girlfriend, Betsy the goth sea slug, at a sea side coffee shop and soon realizes the true treasure is the ones she loves. (her and her girlfriend live on a boat with their adopted sea urchin son now)
I just had a mental breakdown because of the school and other things that bother me, and some random will made me turn this exact video on and for some reason the author of the video suddenly starts speak about school in the video about remaking ugly crab. And it was just kinda supportive or calming thing for me, I guess? Well in the end I want to thank the author for this nice and calming video

I relate to you sooo hard on how i felt about and still feel about school. I hated being there, but now I still miss learning? And the environment, especially. The social aspect of learning. I didnt study, I barely finished my homework properly, but I somehow managed to get by here and there.

My mom had this grey area mentality where she would encourage the idea of Santa but would never make things up after the fact she was super up front that if we would have ever directly asked she would have been honest. My dad was always the "magic of Christmas" guy he was disappointed when my little sister stopped believing. Anyway I love watching "It's a Wonderful Life" every year as well as making cookies my mom likes to bake so me make lots of different kinds.
Wait omg! In 2017 i remember watching one of your videos with that red fox that was shown in the beginning. The thing is i stopled watching lps for 3 years and finally got it back into lps really recently and every lps person brings me my childhood back

In the morning we’d wake up to half eaten cookies and carrots. My mom would make sure to leave brown fur around the carrots (as if the reindeer left behind some shed) and near the cookies she’d leave a little bell and 'snow' (she’d say it probably fell off of Santa or the reindeer- mirroring what happens in the Polar Express movie). I definitely remember having a collection of Santa’s/Reindeer’s bells. Looking back now, I really appreciate the efforts my mom made to make it feel special for us. I hope to continue that tradition in the future.
If you ever get another one to modify.... maybe turn her into crab loaf..... little croissant pinchers and softer/rounder plates on her body. When you were painting her she had this baked look in the start like she was made of bread. It would be cute to lean into it

Im not a writer, but I love to make story’s! I have a idea of lore. So crabitha is an adventurer. That’s why she always work out. Her and her team try to vind ledgendary things. One time they found a map. That map had treasure marked on it. But, the way to there isn’t as easy as they thought. We’re talking about monsters, parkour, magic and riddles. But they finally found it after a long year. It was a huge prize of 34 MILLION. Crabitha and her team were shocked. But there was a letter. On the letter where this exact words:’Who found this prize wasn’t alone. It had to be a big team. You not only get loads of money. But u also get the gift of close friends and maybe a lover. Stay whit those for life. They will be worth.’ That was written in old language. Hope you found it nice the lore, would love if u would use this.
You talking about finding out you loved learning is so relatable. I grew with undiagnosed ADHD until my sophomore year in high school. After I got on meds, I LOVED learning. Math and science are my absolute favorite subjects and I'm actually majoring in Biology now lol. I also took an ASL class this last semester and the fingerspelling learning curve is REAL 😭😭 I'm so bad at reading it. I just finished my first semester and it's my winter break right now, too. This video makes me want to draw again since I didn't have the time during school ;v;

As you were talking about teacher praise and doing well it reminded me of my time in school, well the earlier years since I'm still in school. Throughout primary, middle and most of high school, I was undiagnosed of my autism, and I really struggled learning in a classroom. So I was always trying really hard but I never got very good grades, they weren't bad, but they weren't good. Now in 12th grade, teachers are finally aware of my autism, but I struggled learning in those earlier years so much that I struggle in my current classes because there is stuff that I didn't learn, because of my autism. I'm so far behind even though I was there for all of those lessons teaching us on it, all because I struggled learning in a classroom and no one noticed. (better yet, every time I failed, my teachers would say they're disappointed, all of my teachers have said that to me)

About leaving food out for Santa: when I was little, probably around five, my primary school sold bags of oatmeal and glitter as Reindeer food for 25p. I would put it out with milk and cookies for Santa so they weren't left out 😂

Crabithia was always a crab that would go on adventures. One day she found a tree with a piece of candy on it; it was a door. She opened it only to be sucked in it quickly, it all went black. She got up with her craws sore and her legs numb. She wallowed forward, struggling to stay afoot. She went out till she found herself near a candy kingdom! She walked up to some gingerbread. It was soft, warm and had lovely icing and delicious chocolate with sprinkles on the top as if it was wall trim. Instantly, crabs that were shaded pink, purple, blue, and green. “Am I dreaming?” She spoke as she backed up a bit. “What do you mean? This is Candy Canyon! Loads of sweets and fun with our queen: Kandy! “ and small voice came out of the green one. “You must be new!..” the pink one spoke, “ We can take you to Kandy if you’d like? “ “Yes..! That would be great!” Crabithia would shout with sparkles in her eyes. The pink one spoke once again, “ I’m Gumdrop, the blue one is Gum-ball, the purple one is Lavender, and the green one; my brother, is CandyApple! “ From that day she met Kandy and was given the choice to stay or leave. She stayed and had a happy wonderful life! 💗💗

When i was little, my Grandma and I would make either sugar cookies and then decorate them with frosting, or we would make chocolate chip. We had a chiminey, but for some reason, we always left it by the door. Which makes sense because there would always be those boot prints by the door in the morning. 😊

You talking about finding out you loved learning is so relatable. I grew with undiagnosed ADHD until my sophomore year in high school. After I got on meds, I LOVED learning. Math and science are my absolute favorite subjects and I'm actually majoring in Biology now lol. I also took an ASL class this last semester and the fingerspelling learning curve is REAL 😭😭 I'm so bad at reading it.
I just finished my first semester and it's my winter break right now, too. This video makes me want to draw again since I didn't have the time during school ;v;

As you were talking about teacher praise and doing well it reminded me of my time in school, well the earlier years since I'm still in school. Throughout primary, middle and most of high school, I was undiagnosed of my autism, and I really struggled learning in a classroom. So I was always trying really hard but I never got very good grades, they weren't bad, but they weren't good. Now in 12th grade, teachers are finally aware of my autism, but I struggled learning in those earlier years so much that I struggle in my current classes because there is stuff that I didn't learn, because of my autism. I'm so far behind even though I was there for all of those lessons teaching us on it, all because I struggled learning in a classroom and no one noticed. (better yet, every time I failed, my teachers would say they're disappointed, all of my teachers have said that to me)

when I was little, probably around five, my primary school sold bags of oatmeal and glitter as Reindeer food for 25p. I would put it out with milk and cookies for Santa so they weren't left out 😂
I made that in my class in like kindergarten or first grade and I threw it all in the yard so the reindeer would see the house lol

I feel you on the book thing... I started writing a novel back in the third grade and I rewrote it in high school and I don't know if I'll ever move on or finish it, so it's just kinda... sitting there, and sometimes I miss it

Just found your channel and hearing you talk was very nice 😊 I had a pretty rough Christmas this year, I woke up Xmas day sick and didn’t get to see my family for the first time and ngl it hit me really hard, but you bringing up traditions and talking about your family made me really happy and made me think about my family traditions, we did the carrot thing lol and my dad is such a chocoholic that I didn’t know stocking stuffers could be more than chocolate candy until middle school lmao but yeah you made me feel a lot better so thank you ❤️😊

Crabithia was always a crab that would go on adventures. One day she found a tree with a piece of candy on it; it was a door. She opened it only to be sucked in it quickly, it all went black. She got up with her craws sore and her legs numb. She wallowed forward, struggling to stay afoot. She went out till she found herself near a candy kingdom! She walked up to some gingerbread. It was soft, warm and had lovely icing and delicious chocolate with sprinkles on the top as if it was wall trim. Instantly, crabs that were shaded pink, purple, blue, and green. “Am I dreaming?” She spoke as she backed up a bit. “What do you mean? This is Candy Canyon! Loads of sweets and fun with our queen: Kandy! “ and small voice came out of the green one. “You must be new!..” the pink one spoke, “ We can take you to Kandy if you’d like? “ “Yes..! That would be great!” Crabithia would shout with sparkles in her eyes. The pink one spoke once again, “ I’m Gumdrop, the blue one is Gum-ball, the purple one is Lavender, and the green one; my brother, is CandyApple! “ From that day she met Kandy and was given the choice to stay or leave. She stayed and had a happy wonderful life! 💗💗

I'm so glad you did well in college!! And im glad you're able to relax and do this now. I really dont like school currently because it doesn't align with what I want to do in the future. i have a really bad memory, so just getting bad grades in classes besides english is really... something lmao (especially having to skip out on this year, im currently doing online school due to anxiety.) so i dont think its good for me, but im glad you had that change in your thinking..its something that can change your life. not good with words, so i hope this makes a little sense, lol. im glad to hear you are doing well.

When i was little, my Grandma and I would make either sugar cookies and then decorate them with frosting, or we would make chocolate chip. We had a chiminey, but for some reason, we always left it by the door. Which makes sense because there would always be those boot prints by the door in the morning. 😊
