Yes, and no, First item on the menu is 'shooting mode', giving you the choice of movie, photo, time lapse and slow motion as well as some other options. But essentially this is a 4K video camera not a photo camera. You take photos by putting into photo mode which takes about 10 seconds and then tap the touch screen.
@@onlinem8158 I only use it for video. I actually mainly use it for UA-cam videos when I am filming something, because it has great zoom, Excellent stabilisation and fast focus. Pretty much any videos I make where I film myself at home with camera on a tripod (like this video) I use my Sony ZV E10. This would be a great camera to film sporting events, family events, car shows, kids plays, graduations, weddings etc etc
Could we get a follow-up on the performance of the new screen in direct sunlight and gather impressions for the Sony FDR-AX43A? I'm particularly interested in understanding any improvements over its predecessor, the Sony FDR-AX43.
I have no idea what the improvements are. It's a camera I use to film UA-cam videos point and shoot. If you want technical specifications you need to talk to technical reviewers. My tech goes as far as pressing the botton and filming a video.
Hi sir, I'm from India 🇮🇳 Nice video, I'm totally satisfied. Please upload its some more footage. There is no decent footage to be found on UA-cam. I will be grateful to you.
Iv been looking into this particular camera and the sony zv-e10 for awhile now and I'm torn between the 2 for youtube videos. However with the e10 i know it's capable of taking some nice photos with a good lens.
@@judgementalee the handy cam has better stabilisation, I think the ZV E10 has better sound and picture quality lens depending. If I only had one camera I would have the ZV E10 or ZV1M2, both brilliant cameras. It really just depends what you want and prefer. They all do the job well.
can we take still photos? is there any dedicated button or so on the body of this camcorder?

Would you be so kind and name the battery charger you bought addtionally?
Sony Battery Charger for Sony NP FV70 batteries. Sony BC VH1 battery Charger.

I upload several videos every week to UA-cam, I have over 1000 Videos uploaded. So there is plenty of footage out there.

Personal preference really I have both and use both.
I plan to buy both but by the time I buy the E10 it will probably be E30 or something 👍🏻
