- The toughest pike fishing tournament in the world is officially back. 8 teams spread out across Europe will battle each other for three days in a test of skills, strategy and endurance as they try to outdo each other in the hunt for the win.

Was für ein Hammer-Fisch, Glückwunsch an Team Nays !! Das zeigt ja nun wirklich, dass der Traumfisch jederzeit kommen kann ! Hatte meinen PB auch nach 5,5 Stunden ohne einen einzigen Biss ! Glückwunsch auch an alle anderen Teams, sehr sympathisch !

And what else can I appreciate - all the teams, each of them appreciated the biggest fish on the 1st day, even if he didn't catch it himself - this is a competition!!! So gentlemen, show up the next day too :-)

interesting to see the difference between pike tournament’s and bass fishing. all the bass fishermen over here would be complaining because of the difference in conditions between locations 😂. Also amazing to see how well you guys treat your fish. our bass fisherman flip them onto the boat and let them flop around on the deck…

Very nice but i think the season for pike is closed from 1. March till the end of may. So its not allowed to fish for pike by then 🤔 but perch and zander are still allowed as i understand.
Congratulations team nays/stroft to the tank! But my pike angler stomach hurt when i saw how they handled the fish after netting it. Im not here to point fingers or to shame anybody out but come on guys this is a professional pike angling contest. Always let the pike recover in the net after those huge kind of fights, you could see how the fins where shooting red after the fight and the pike were nearly exhausted to fatigue. But congratulations again and carry this in mind every time you catch a huge pike to highen the chance for the pike to survive, after all its catch and release. Great episode anyways!
