He wouldn't have done as good if the format was still the same though. Jeff had the car to beat, I believe, in the 2007 Coke 600. He probably would've had another 10 bonus points for the chase had he never wrecked.
Did somebody hit you over the head with a crowbar or something? Jeff will ALWAYS be better than Jimmie Johnson. In fact, if it weren't for Jeff, there'd be no Jimmie Johnson. Plus, I do recall that Jimmie won all 4 of his cups under the chase format, while Jeff won his 4 under the true champion format. Johnson would only have 1 cup if the points were the same. Jeff'd be a 7 time champion.
