Your videos are saving me from a lot of stress while writing my dissertation! Thank you for this quick and informative instruction! Great to follow as all your videos!
This video is a literal life-saver. I was following the text we use in class and my instructor's directions to a tee for the past how many hours....to finally come to this and have i finally work. Thank you!
Thanks for the video! I’ve been reading Hayes intro to mediation, moderation, and conditional process analysis and it’s awesome that there is some help downloading and installing these files. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this and explaining this process
Thank you for providing vital details, deliberate and conscious presentations for some of us to understand and use the Andrew Hayes' Process macro. God bless you!
Thanks for this! While I was doing homework, the assignment said to check my book on how to install Process. I don't have the book. It's over 50 euro and I'm doing just fine without it.
Thanks for the video! Weirdly I can't copy paste the process file on the download file. I copy pasted it on desktop, then it works. I just follow the rest for the installation. Thanks to you, may God always bless you.
Hi everyone, I have uploaded a more recent (2023) version of this video at the following address since the main download link is now a University of Calgary site: ua-cam.com/video/yTiSbVKbYOo/v-deo.html
Professor, Thanks very much, alot, you have save me, because I have spss v25, and you methode for installing was successful vs methode instaling from openning syntax file.
Hey.. Thank you so much for this video!! One issue though.. I tried this but I am getting an error message saying that I cannot install the plugin. Any reasons why?
Hi! Thank you. I'm supposed to share my syntax with my supervisor, so that she can re-run all my tests (and for the purpose of publication). However, in the dialog it says "do not use paste button". What am I supposed to do? Can I only share the output? Or should I just enclose self written instructions in the syntax? Thanks in advance!
Hi Dunja, If you want to keep a syntax log you probably will have to use the syntax version of the Process macro. It is contained in the folder that you download from Hayes' site. Basically, you open up SPSS and activate the macro. Then you can use code based on that provided in his book (in Appendix A). If you activate the macro and then save your commands in a new syntax file as you run things then you should be able to keep a log of your commands. The closet I've come on a video on something like this can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/VNnj2XSYc00/v-deo.html . But this was mainly written to give you an idea of how you can use that macro with a particular model. I wish I could be more help to you on that. Cheers!
Hi there. Andrew Hayes has a complete description of the version history of Process here: www.processmacro.org/version-history.html You'll notice too that he has several versions that have come out since I put together this video (although the process for installing it is exactly the same). Cheers!
That did not work. It told me that it could not be installed to any of the given registers when I wanted to open the file Edit: I had to open SPSS as an administrator. Then it worked.
omg finally I found one with the same problem!! can you PLEEAASSEE tell me how to open SPSS as an administrator? I just dont get it. Also i am native german speaker and all the english instructions are not that easy for me..
This video was put out a couple of years ago. Process has updated to newer versions since then. I'm currently working with 3.5.3. But installation is exactly the same. Cheers!
I am getting an error everytime I try to install process MACRO. The error says, " cannot install custom dialog to any of the specified locations". Please help to troubleshoot
Many people on the earth wouldn't be needing to watch this video, but those needing it will heave a sigh of relief.
Thanks Mike Crowson!
very clear and effective guideline, Thank you! Just a quick note that the source has been moved to the resource hub of CCRAM.

Thank you for providing vital details, deliberate and conscious presentations for some of us to understand and use the Andrew Hayes' Process macro. God bless you!
Thank you!! The instructions don't say anything about using the custom dialog builder file, just to read it in as syntax!
You are welcome, Deborah. Thanks for visiting!
Thank you so much! Finally, a video that I understand and now I have successfully downloaded and installed within 5 minutes.
Many thanks Mike. I really appreciate how clearly and simply you explained this.

What the different of version 3.2 and 3.1?

Sir i have installed it but now it is showing in regression that it is the process v3.5. Is that any difference between 3.2 and 3.5??
There are slight differences in a few options and layout under options tab. It is largely the same. Cheers!
