They're such insane perfectionists, every sound has a purpose or a moment of clarity and then it's on to the next amazing thing there's a reason they release a record every 4 years or so. I would argue it's well worth the wait.
You know the thing with Radiohead is they're not stuck with one sound. They always evolved. So each radiohead album has it's own soundscape. Kid A is a more electronic and overall very eerie experience. Ok computer is a very melancholic alt rock album about technological dystopia and human detachment (wildly regarded as one of the greatest albums ever made). And then we have their last album A moon shaped pool.. Honestly my favorite after In rainbows. It's such a somber but extremely beautiful album. Hope you dive into more radiohead in the future. Their music means so much to me so it's wholesome to see someone else experience it for the first time - Joseph
Well put. I think that's the major reason I still keep listening to them with fresh curiosity even after 25 years since I heard Ok Computer. They seem to age like wine while so many other bands of the era can feel a bit dated. They really are a band for the ages, and even though they're sometimes hard to stomach and not always radio friendly (not good for dinner party's) - I'd put them up there with Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Top shelf experimental/electronic rock. Sometimes it jams, sometimes it spaces you out, sometimes it makes you feel high on drugs, and sometimes they hit you with those gritty and all to real human emotions. I'd love to catch them live again before they retire.
Great Reaction......my introduction to Radiohead was "All I need" after hearing that song I had to go back & get all their material including Thom Yorkes solo stuff
I had never heard Radiohead before in my life and bought it at Hot Topic. The cashier was this cute much older emo goth chick who certified me it was going to be a great listen and that if I didnt like it she would personally reimburse me the money I paid for it. It was on sale for $10.
In Rainbows is my second favorite album ever. I could never get tired of In Rainbows. Ok Computer is their masterpiece. Do yourself a favor and go back to Pablo Honey and work your way forward. You will not believe how this band has evolved.
@@calisjams Polly Jean Harvey is the David Bowie of women rock you have you listen to her disco. She has straight grunge, pop, piano everything. Start with Thom and her with This Mess We Are In. Go from there and have fun!
hey thank you so much for catching that! I tried to put each part into one video and I must’ve combined it twice. I don’t think the viewers mind tho but thanks so much ❤
No offense you “made” an album without know Radiohead or more like did not know In Rainbows I already don’t want to listen to you album. Next are you going to ask me who Pink Floyd is or the Beatles.

How does "Reckoner" have so few plays? It's one of my two favourites from this album (the other is Jigsaw).

This album is about death. In case anyone wanted to know. It's about someone coming to terms with their mortality.
10 😂
Just to be helpful: You repeated the entire intro in the edit. Watch it back.

Apart from Bodysnatchers this album is golden.
