I really like this band. The rest of my family would hate their music, because they don't give music they think sounds wrong a chance. Some people say this band is gay and shit, but why is that an insult? It's 2015 for goodness sake. I personally grew up in the LGBT community, and eventually, joined it myself as a Bisexual Youth. I went thorugh depression, I went through a lot of shit. I've gone through being excluded, teased, bullied, and finally, being excepted in my own group of friends. Stop hating on things your don't like. You don't see my going around to One Direction videos and hating on them, do you? No. Sometimes I really wonder what's wrong with a lot of people today. I've found acceptance in this community like so many other people. We all have our own options, some more voiced than others. The last thing you want to happen is to mess with the wrong person. I'm not such a calm person myself. Please stop hating on things purposely before I hunt you down.

BOTDF Can influence/save people like any other band can. Yes, they do have some sexual songs but that doesn't mean they are ALL like that. Jayy and Dahvie do tell people not to kill themselves. They do save some lives. I listen to many different things besides BOTDF such as Slipknot, A7x, Evanescene, Motley Crue and Asking Alexandria so I do know a little about music. Dahvie's voice may not be the best, but he still saves lives. And BOTDF is a band and do write music whether you like it or not.

Jessi Slaughter was infamous among the BOTDF and BVB (not to sure) community. She was very foul mouthed for an eleven year old girl. She said Dahvie Vanity sexually assaulted her. Then people started cyber-bullying her and her breakdown was filmed. Dahvie and Jayy (being the oh-so sweet people that they are) made fun of her breakdown and actually wrote a song called "You Dun Goofed". After that, she filmed a short video of her apologizing to the fans and the band for what she did.
Lol, I always like seeing cool interesting subcultures but scene didn't seem to have all too much culture/identity beyond a few bands and fashion so I don't know how much could be 'brought back'... of course that _is_ from a total outsider >_>
