Not sure what you mean by "same cleaning action", but cleaning performance is NOT the same, as empirically shown in the video. The samsung is objectively inferior and its technology not as advanced. As for other subjective concerns; each to their own. I present the facts in the video, people can ignore them if they wish. The Dyson was subjectively a far better product for me and objectively better in many ways.

There's nothing butthurt about a statement of facts countering nonsense. A response clearly intended to shine someone on bears all the hallmarks of a troll without a leg to stand on. Yes, I do believe it will retain 80% of its maximum original capacity after 15 years because it was tested formally in a professional laboratory that has a track record of accuracy. This claim assumes the user isn't the idiot that many are out there and use it in boost mode all the time, which absolutely does cripple the battery's lifetime and reduce it to about 2-3 years, as evidence has clearly shown. If you'd bothered to do the slightest shred of fact-checking, you'd understand how this claim is achieved relative to the 5 year claim by competitors. How the battery charge and discharge is managed is crucial to the complex degradation processes occurring at a chemical level within the cells. You simply need to stop speaking whilst so staggeringly ignorant of fact-checkable science. And then there's literally everything else in the video you brushed over.

I picked up the Samsung Jet 90 Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum with Dual Charging Station and Samsung Clean Station for $239.99 on a one day sale on Samsung. Well worth the money! BTW...I sold the Clean Station for $75.00 on eBay as I really had no use for it.
Not convinced it's worth the money; there are better products (e.g. the older dysons) which are cheaper now and perform better, more easily, and with reduced environmental impact.
Jet 75 is essentially the same as 90 with less accessories. At 300 right now with discounts, and the fact that it’s compared to top dyson model I’ll take it lol
@@VacuumFacts 300 usd actually, which doesn’t even come close to new dyson v7s price. Most people will laugh at the cleaning station but as someone really allergic to dust mites it’s perfect. Only reason I prefer the portability of a stick style is due to my allergies so I have to clean a lot more.
The Samsung floor dock is far superior to Dyson and drilling it to the wall is unnecessary due to its sturdy weight. If you're renting, then not drilling holes into the wall is a huge advantage. Actual real life performance seems identical. It's the Samsung for me.

However, I disagree a floor dock is "far superior" for all the reasons clearly evidenced in the video. Contrary to your claim, at no point did I say the floor dock needs to be drilled into the wall; I simply pointed out the manual's instructions advising to do so, which is hardly, thus, an "exaggeration". It's like you decided to hear something I didn't actually say and then shot me down for it. Talk about victim blaming. I'm sure you could get away with it freestanding (near a plug socket of course...). Very useful review - great spot on the extending height pole business. I'd been looking at the Samsung vacuums and had noticed the pet attachment pulling up - what a glaring error on their part.
It's probably not an error; it's known about. But their product is a nasty clone. They produce something to look like the best products on the market-on the cheap having bypassed the hard and expensive work of research and development, circumvent patents as best as possible resulting it something that doesn't work as well, then sell it to unsuspecting customers who aren't taught properly to fact-check, think critically, and ask important questions. They're almost certainly deliberately exploiting the victim customer to undercut rivals in an act of a regressive form of capitalism, relying on their brand name secured by decent products in other product classes. The entire purpose of my channel is to help people wise up and learn to spot exploitation.
Dyson's are the worst vacuums I've ever owned and I've had several. They get super dirty, the shrouds get covered in dirt and fluff, they are loud, they don't filter well at all (all Miele machines filter air coming out much much better), cheaply made and just stop after a year or so. I have a Miele Triflex, a Samsung Jet 90 with clean station and a few bagged Miele canisters. The Triflex is world's better than any Dyson. Have a Dyson canister I was given new to test and write a review. Also junk, made poorly, they don't filter air well at all. And this trigger on the Dyson, many, and most older people cannot hold the trigger due to ageing, so it's a poor design. An on off button is much better. My Jet 90 runs easily over 30 mins with floor attachments, either the hard floor or carpet. I do hate it's bagless, so I have the clean station. A perfect solution. Having horrible allergies, I need something that filters the best; Miele and Samsung kill Dyson's over and over. Miele Triflex is not bagged so still causes issues emptying. But it's built great, last a long time and cleans much better. The Samsung is the best of both. I never have to deal with dust from the bin, get a closed bag to empty later on, it also has a HEPA filter that's as good as the Miles, as again Dyson's are not sealed and still don't filter as well. And build quality on Dyson's is just sad. Cheap plastic. And can't rinse them clean. Much happier to rinse and get rid of all the dust. And the floor dock DOES not need to be wall mounted, blatant lie. Dyson fangirls are just as bad as Tesla Fangirls......Dyson didn't invent the centrifugal system of seperating dirt of different sizes, they've been around for decades in industrial applications. Dyson has copied everything. Look at his amazing washing machine lol. And please open one of his bladeless fans or heaters. The amount of dust inside will make anyone vomit. It's disgusting. I have the jet 90 and like it a lot. But with the V15 out and costing only 50$ more at msrp. the jet90 now obsolete. The bin emptying system of the jet is not great.
The V11 made it obsolete. In fact, so does the V10. There is little to like on this machine when you see it in context relative to what we know can be achieved.

@@honestychampmilland2007 Some people like a range of vacuums because they treat them like toys and the more the merrier. Others (like me) just use them sparingly for their intended purpose. So I only want what works best and makes it easiest in the processes, and minimally harms the environment (within reason). Dyson objectively comes out on top.
i have the v15(sensor stopped reporting on the screen but it still works) and am geting the jet 90 next week with cleaner included for 100 bucks extra, i guess i'll be breaking out the anemometer and other gauges, it will be hard to beat the v15, lupe didnt come close and i gave it to my mom, shark vertex cordlees also failed, plus my v15 is heavily modified with always on trigger device, telescoping wand, under furniture wand adaptor, and 3d printed headlight mount
I choose finally the Samsung Jet 75 because that uses up the least storing space. Dysons over series V8 needing too much space as the stick is hanging ~25 cm from the wall, which is too much if you can not store it in a hidden place, Samsung Jet 75 is more discrete with hanging the stick ~10 cm from the wall. Jet 90 with that stand needs much much more space, even more than Dysons. Dysons design is a bit too gipsy for me, I prefered the clean elegance of Samsung. However performace and accessorywise both are great. Just one hint to the end, you do not have to use screws on bathroom tiles -if you happen to store it there- just use enough of double sided tape, finding the fitting height so that it slightly stands on the stick to hold the weight.
I really appreciate the effort you got to in these videos. I also like that your comparison charts are not just X and Dyson anymore, but a range of products to give an informative overview. I realise this is likely because you now have the data to do so, but an improvement nonetheless.
I've managed to standardise testing for better relative comparison between products since the review of the final Dyson mains cleaners ua-cam.com/video/YnJ6OqVC_wg/v-deo.html . Still, the earlier testing was just as valid when compared to the Dyson machines tested at the time and the conclusions just as valid. Namely that Dyson products clearly out performs the competition, desipte numbers for irrelevant metrics like motor power, airflow etc. People go on and on about how good the Dyson clones are, yet every single time they provide absolutely no argument or evidence, and when their betters out there actually go and test and put in the work they sadly avoid, they turn out to be 100% wrong. Exposing ignorance, wild unsubstantiated claims, half-truths, or outright misleading falsehoods is what I've made this channel all about. The pollution on YT needs to be shown for what it is.

Just take a look at all other 'reviews' of this device and reflect that these important points that constitute a full truth are conveniently absent. Those that makes those videos are either not bright enough to notice important things that matter, or are wilfully telling a half truth and deceiving people, since many of them got their product for free to say only the nice things about it like ad-bots. I love how Samsung claims the Jet 90 has 27 cyclones, when there's actually only 9 cyclones with 3 openings for each cyclone for air to enter, but yet it clogged up in your flour pickup test, basically proving that their cheap knockoff of Dyson's Root Cyclone technology just doesn't match the separation efficiency that Dyson vacuums have. This reminds me of the "Do The Math" marketing Atari did for their Jaguar game console, claiming it had 64-bit graphics because it used 2 32-bit processors, but in reality, it wasn't 64 bit at all, compared to the Nintendo 64 game console.
Yup. You've got to watch the marketing types and fact check their half-truths. And yet I'm called 'biased' for pointing out things like this by people who champion feelings over facts. It's also not the number of cyclones that's important. In fact, Dyson's next model is reducing the number of cyclones in operation depending on flow current in a given mode to maximise their effectiveness. Marketing assume people are very, very stupid (which, for the most part, is sadly true due to a total failure of the state to educate in critical thinking) and suggest 'more' and 'bigger' is automatically better. Using less to achieve more is really what's better.

That's pretty smart, considering that on a low power mode, trying to distribute the lesser airflow throughout all of the cyclones would mean more fine dust gets through, so having it shut off some of the cyclones to adapt is very clever.
I have a V8 and battery is failing (OEM USD$130) so looking at the Samsung 75 at $250 (same specs as 90 minus useless extras). There’s no debate Dyson puts more R&D into their vacuums and they’re the best and did it for for longest time. Samsungs mistake is to price their new adventure close enough to Dyson with a slightly inferior product, but do you really think Samsung cares about R&D in this sector to try to be best in class? To label all others as “copycats” seems totally unfair, and most have lower price points and will perform adequately for the average consumer who don’t want to pay the price premium. The emptying station makes no sense to me but I suppose my asthmatic/allergic sister who sneezes every time she empties the small Dyson bin may actually find this expensive optional “innovation” useful
Yes. Although, I think you might have misunderstood the definition of "copycat". Samsung's product is a total clone of a formfactor invented by another company; others have also jumped on the lucrative bandwagon seeing as it's clearly the future. I think the accusation stands. A v8 is a product that's many years old, so it's not that surprising to hear of batteries reaching the end of their service life. That lifetime is also dependent on how it was treated. Many ignore the manual and use it in high power mode all the time and wonder why it fails prematurely. I had a Dyson cordles stick vac (DC35) for 7 years and it still worked as new with full battery capacity when I upgraded, so islated stories don't say much. Also, It's possible to empty the Dyson without making a dust cloud causing sneezes; there are videos on my channel demonstrating and explaining this that might be worth reviewing.

One thing for sure is that this Samsung is much better made than Dysons rubbish fragile build. Of course as a Dyson lover you would not be able to accept that fact!
I'd accept it as a fact if you actually objectively and reputably evidenced your wild claim. Not once ever have you done so in all the contrarian comments you've left here. I've said countless times now; I've no allegiance to Dyson; I just like good tech that leads in meaningful ways where others don't.

Haha I got 2 bags of zorb recently, one bag lasted me just enough to do 2x area rugs, the hallway and a kitchen rug so it's quite a small bag and I tried using it sparingly, a little does go a long way if brushed right but it is what it is The v15 will be wayyyy more useful than a bag of zorb you use it a few times a day you feel better about the purchase I haven't used the second bag yet as it got lost in transit and arrived a few weeks late
Thanks for the review. I was considering this vacuum but ended up getting the V15 instead. I did receive the Samsung to test out for a couple of days in back to back tests with the V15. The Samsung did handle well, looked good and the performance wasn’t too shabby, but your criticisms are fair. One thing I may have missed though; did you include any hard floor tests with the soft roller head? I found that to be better performing on hard floor types. Dyson with the V15 has also gone back to including a soft roller head that I’ve found to be easier to use on hard floors (slim profile, lightweight and no gates to mess around with). Just curious.
This pet version does not come with a soft roller head. I would have criticised it anyway. Firstly, it would have been a copycat clone of Dysons head that they invented. Secondly, having to change heads is not good (and this applies to Dyson as well, covered here ua-cam.com/video/AXaIFntIhkM/v-deo.html ). Changing gates on a well designed head suitable for all floor types is a lot less hassle than changing entire heads (and getting out, carrying, putting away etc.), and performance of the main head is exactly the same for normal real-world mess levels, as evidenced. There is nothing admirable about the Samsung product. Consumers deserve better. No one has pointed any of this out elsewhere on YT, which is poor.
@@VacuumFacts Thanks for the elaborate response. The Pet sku for the 90 isn’t available here in the US, hence the confusion. I appreciate the clarification. Yes, changing heads is annoying, Dyson or otherwise. However, between the two heads provided with the V15, there’s got to a reason beyond the surprisingly useful laser that Dyson went back to a soft roller. Granted, the supposedly improved anti tangle infused brush head does work on multiple floor types, though I’d still argue there’s method to including two heads. Curious how you’d view the V15 if it’s on the testing agenda!
@@jsgenus1 Yep, and I think it was because lockdown so badly affected their productivity that they had to rely on revamping existing assets as a fallback. The laser has no practical benefit when inspected carefully, as I'll discuss eventually in the V15 review. They've unusually relied more on cosmetics this generation. The anti-tangle and other things are the best new additions, but the V15 was surprisingly V11-like.
@@VacuumFacts The laser and by extension the ‘kill count’ particle counter goes come across as immaterial to core functionality and usefulness (the latter more so), though I have found the laser in my case to be quite revealing in certain situations. It is kind of useless in bright light though. I’m not too sure about the recycling technology argument, since the soft roller isn’t a reused part from previous versions, but rather a newly developed one, laser aside. While the core R&D would have been carried out for soft rollers in general, it does strike me as more than meets the eye when it comes to its utility. I realize I am not being objective, lacking numerical evidence of it’s supposed usefulness, but nonetheless, I have found something to be said for its low weight and slim profile at the least. Stoked to see your take on the V15 when the video drops! Thanks for what you do.
@@jsgenus1 While a laser reveals particles better than an LED lamp (only on flat hard floor), which was the reason why LED supporters argued (unconvincingly) that it was useful even on carpet, it's a moot point because all the fallacies of the LED lamp I've outlined in the Shark review still apply: ua-cam.com/video/I9wBMTuX8iU/v-deo.html The revised fluffy head changes were actually developed and released originally for products in Eastern markets where homes generally don't have carpet. They were seemingly brought into this model to add more headline features due to the impact of lockdown on productivity. The laser and particle counter don't have any obvious practical benefit, but have a cosmetic nerd factor for marketing to magnetise with. The lack of genuine justification for a fluffy head (as good as it is) is covered here ua-cam.com/video/AXaIFntIhkM/v-deo.html . People like it though, so maybe that was another reason for Dyson to reintroduce it. The fact is, it is not necessary, doesn't achieve anything that the main head doesn't (for real-world messes), and burdens the user with the need to change heads (and all the other related hassle). I've seen no evidence to the contrary and can't find any myself despite owning one. I do feel the main head needs the felt strips bringing back though to soften the movement on hard floor, just like the mains cleaners had, and the fact the V15 main head is virtually identical to the V11 I can only attribute to lockdown development stagnation.
after 3 years the trigger broked , tried to change it and wen i open it , the electronic boards was all coverd whit glue stick, and i gaved up , it was hard to take , and the connecter has two hair small wires so i will go for the samsung 95. is was dyson v10 that died
How did the trigger break? Almost every trigger doesn't break, so something specific must have happened. I've never seen anyone show how it can be reproduced in a convincing way. Always hard to tell fact from fiction from comments.
@@VacuumFacts the trigger does not go back in the normal position and it does not start the vacum, you can see in the repairs videos on youtube , but my dyson the board was covered by glue , was both new and it was dyson v10 animal, had a dog now a cat , vacum 2 a week

Appreciate the reviews, it goes into depth other channels do not. I've watched a couple of the other videos and they're pretty nice the analysis and background data. I used a mile (edit: miele) corded prior, and it doesn't really agitate the carpet like the dyson does, all the other corded just try to overpower the carpet by just giving it more suction and ended up lifting my carpet when I really went hard on an area to agitate it with the standard upholstery tool. The dyson does it cleanly and efficiently from my experience, though I guess sometimes people do prefer just suction. I do see a bit of both sides, but I personally prefer a dyson after trying the two. Though it is expensive. Tradeoffs at the end of the day.
This channel is awesome, very informative and opened my eyes to the different technologies involved in vacs. Looking at replacing my 13 year old dyson dc25 ball for a sebo Felix or X7 until I started watching a lot of your videos. What vac would you recommend and do you think it is worth waiting for the Dyson V15 detect to release in the UK?
I don't 'recommend' specific products as such. I just reveal the facts and full truth so people can make up their own minds. If you want the best on the market and have the money, Dyson products do perform the best, are the most usable, and have minimal relative environmental impact. Otherwise, lesser products are more affordable. Worth shopping around and making a decision.

Theres a huge german vac reviewer that tested dysons and many others and dyson does not even go above average in cleaning power on carpet while Sansung was one of the best, together with Bosch. I was highly annoyed at your Dyson bias in this video. No product is perfect and the fact that you hardly had any negatives to say about Dyson and that you used marketing claims as evidence shows to me that I should not trust your reviews. I have never owned a Dyson, but just looking at it and its cheap 20$ AliExpress vac apperance put me off big time.

Okay then, let me explain some points why I think this "review" is wrong and annoying, in no particular order. At 8:38 you start talking about battery longevity. I assume you are taking pictures from Samsung and Dyson marketing here and just regurgitate Dysons claim that their batteries last this long. What you conveniently leave out is Consumer Reports findings that 50% of Dyson stick vacs die within 5 years, the overwhelming majority of them because of battery issues. Off course, you are going to claim that all of those failures are user error just like you did in your other videos comments, but if the charging logic is so good, why does it even allow user error? The only advice the manual gives about charging is about battery/environmental temperature, especially recharging a hot battery directly after use. A baby could develop a system that keeps the battery from charging when its hot, yet Dyson fails to implement it in their "industry leading" charging logic? Following 4:14, you state that it is annoying that you have to take out the dust bin on the Samsung model, while a little later you are amazed by the great 5 sec 1 motion emptying mechanism of the Dyson, conveniently leaving out that you have to take off the cleaning tool in the Dyson because of their inline design. I agree with you that emptying the V11 is more effortless than the Jet 75/90, but leaving out the cons of the Dyson makes you come across as dishonest. Imho, Samsung also one-upped Dyson with their newer Bespoke Jet, integrating the cleaning station that empties the bin and simultaneously pulls dust from the filters just by putting it away to charge, without any disassembly required and 100% allergy friendly. Yes, the clean station has disadvantages, but so does the Dyson. Next, 8:05. Both are not optimal here. A feather trigger is good, but there are situations where it is much easier to have a toggle switch, especially things like cleaning overhead, where you might not want to hold the pistol grip like you normally would. The fact that this 600$ machine lacks a simple mechanism that allows the user to optionally latch the trigger is a gross oversight. Also, I highly doubt the trigger does anything for battery life, if it is so light that simply holding the device triggers it. Dyson users frequently complain about the fact that they have to hold down the trigger, but you happily ignore this fact or dismiss them as haters and claim the trigger system is the best thing since sliced bread. I ran out of motivation to search you video(s) for all of the other stuff that bothers me, but the TL:DR is pretty much that to me, you come across as a hard Dyson fanboy that can not admit when another company does something better than his favorite, Dyson. The whole review is basically you calling everyone but Dyson "Copycats", ignoring all of the innovation that is going on in the industry beyond "cyclones", "digital motors" and other fancy Dyson marketing names. Lastly, you mention that you are in fact pointing out negatives in your other reviews. I can't make that decision for you. All I can do is provide the evidence of what you're getting and how it compares relative to other products out there, to help prospective buyers make their own decisions. You get what you pay for, as always.
The V8 was never intended as a mains replacement and not marketed as one. I've never tested it, but I wouldn't be surprised if its performance still surpassed the latest models that I've reviewed on my channel from competitor brands. If the latest Dyson cordless stick vac is something you genuinely want, I recommend saving up for it until you have enough in the kitty to buy it without guilt, by which time, the next model might be out. They genuinely are the best vacuum cleaners on the market (because that's their design goal-as evidenced by the price!).
Still ahead? They were never behind-and by a HUGE margin. Copycat clones are scummy cashins that milk consumer ignorance for profit, and it took the best of us to show the obvious. RE batteries: It's a good question actually. I don't know. I was expecting (and I'm sure Dyson was, based on their earlier forecast) that new technologies would be to market by now. But they're obviously struggling scaling this technology up from lab to consumer scales. And I'm sure lockdown has really badly affected Dyson's productivity (and others), and why the V15 is so generally underwhelming and V11-like despite 2 years of development. But that no one has brought this battery tech to market yet, despite major research and development by many unrelated manufacturers, shows just how hard a scientific and engineering challenge it is. Between 2020 and 2030, solid state battery market share was expected to exponentiate. I'd be amazed if the next Dyson itteration didn't have it in, but again, lockdown has held technological development back by a couple of years. And old fashioned Li-ion batteries are the real weak point in cordless products (especially high drain devices like vacuums). Dyson's superiority will really take off once the battery bottleneck is solved. Cordless yet mains performance with substantial run times in a single battery will be the target.

@@2711marcus Interestingly, Tesla seem to be pushing Li-ion still, finding ways to scrape more out of it. The future is in other chemistries-at least in principle. And yeah, green and high tech industries are the future, and skillsets will need to be more technical. STEM subjects at uni, know how to code etc. In general; plenty of other good jobs as well.

You know, it makes you wonder whether they ever conducted user testing of this product? There are some features on this that are obviously badly designed and it’s insane to see a product released these days that clearly wasn’t tested with users, or not tested and iterated enough! 🤦🏼♀️
You claimed they had "crappy build quality and materials", then relied on 'feelings' instead of evidence to support your claim. Your feelings are opposite to reality. They use the most advanced polymers around and are evidenced beyond all reasonable doubt to be durable, especially relative to the competition (see all the official durability testing videos online for a start). And then there's the warranty of 2 years, which is more than enough to show problems if it really is 'cheap, creaky and brittle'. This is a complete misconception, unsupported by evidence, and at odds with reality. The only thing you got right was the price tag. That's high because they are the best products on the market, as far as testing shows, and you get what you pay for. This video clearly evidenced this, as have many others.

I can get a Dyson V11 torque drive new in the box for about 400 dollars. Do you think this is worth it or should I bite the bullet and go with the V15? Also, just got some Dyson zorb and cleaned my carpets (used to use a hoover spin scrub) and I can not believe how fresh and soft they are. Your videos on zorb were extremely helpful in making this Decision. And compared to other dry cleaning methods zorb is by far the best I have used. Originally that’s why I got the Hoover, other dry cleaning just didn’t work but I will be sticking with zorb from now on.
I and many others have had Dyson machines working as new several years after purchase. Go figure. They're designed to last 10 years at the very least on the condition they're treated responsibly with basic and simple care, as outlined in the manual. I suspect many other 'high-grade' products would last more than 5 years with good care.

My point is the fact that you gave other cordless vacuums an unfair competition such as Henry cordless it's just a straight section head that's not going to be able to deep clean most people know that it's really meant for hard floors and in the UK many people have hard floors in their house

Competition is not determined by 'price'; it's determined by capability. All such products are marketed to the same audience and claim to do the same thing. It's blindingly obvious that they're therefore in direct competition with each other and fair game for objective comparison. Not sure why this isn't glaringly apparent. You can't argue that the Henry providing a straight suction head therefore excuses it from being criticised for doing so, just because it's cheaper. People are entitled to hear an argument and see evidence about the consequences of that decision. Your claim that it's only meant for hard floors is simply false and at odds with Henry's marketing. I even showed in its review the hard floor performance and where it fails. You simply have no argument whatsoever. As for your claim about the V11 missing junk in the carpet; I simply don't believe you because you provided no quantification or evidence, and your claim is in stark contrast to evidence available. I already know where this conversation is going to go now: further down misleading, wild-claim alley.
Pity you didn't state how, let alone then evidence it in a manner that thoroughly addressed everything already raised and evidenced in the video. What is presented is the full truth. If facts look like 'one sided' then maybe it means that the product the Samsung product was compared to was such that it really is objectively 'one-sided' on matters that are relevant, and the Jet 90 isn't as good by all measurable and relevant metrics. I don't expect you to be prepared to make a respectable, cojent argument that is evidence supported, as in this video, so people can make their own minds up based on the evidence shown.

The criteria by which I determine how to invest my time on any given product is the evidence the manufacturer provides to illustrate their objective superiority over the competition-or not, if they just make strong claims. Formal industry standard test data (which I accept is a little difficult since the IEC standards for cordless aren't finalised), evidence of relative ease of use and technological superiority, and impact on the environment. The stronger these criteria are evidenced or addressed by the manufacturer over the competition, the more likely I am to purchase and test a product. The probability of me testing a device can also be increased with a strong, no quibble returns, collect and return 30+ day home trial service.
Yup. And how many other reviews of this machine pointed that out? Or did they either keep it quiet, or not even notice. So many vague, half-truth reviews out there. They're all doing the same with the V15 too... YT is littered with pollution.
Did you notice how at 3:58, marketing deceive you by suggesting there are 27 cyclones? There are clearly only 9, and they distort reality by implying that because each has 3 entrances, that therefore makes 3 times as many cyclones. It turns out that multiple entrances makes the cyclones less efficient, and they only do this to bypass the need for stronger suction motors to overcome the corresponding airflow restrictions. It's another compromise that's marketed as a virtue, when in reality, it's a setback. And no one pointed this out in other reviews... shameful.
It's classic regressive capitalism. Let someone else do all the hard and expensive R&D work. They've patented it like 'trolls', but we can sweep in on the cheap with a nasty clone. It doesn't work as well, but F the cattle buying it; we'll let marketing patch those cracks and spin that we're doing it for them. And to maximise profit margin at the expense of said cattle, and thanks to said marketing, we can charge almost as much! It's called 'competition' and our plump shareholders are quite happy with this arrangement.

This mediocre product is grossly overpriced, as many clones often are to try and tout the money off people who don't know better, sadly. Unfortunately, this is what led Dyson to price their latest model so unbelievably high, to absolutely guarantee that the clones couldn't scam by charging almost as much and falsely imply they're as good. So, Samsung and others are indirectly responsible for that too.
I can't get over how stupid and ridiculous the clean station concept is... Imagine having a whole damn machine taking up space in your house just to empty your vacuum. That is insane to me. And to be honest the floor base provided with the Samsung is super ugly compared to the V11 one. The Samsung one is so low it looks like a children's toy.
And how many reviews of it out there even mentioned that once? Not one that I could find. Utterly disgusting. Some reviews, despite not having a Clean Station to test, boasted how amazing it was and how they wanted one "because it's cool" (or words to that effect). Especially when you realised some who priased it got one for free. Never ever trust anything anyone says from now on, anywhere on YT, if they got the product for free. No wonder Dyson didn't give any V15 freebies out. YT was much cleaner for it. The floor base was a totally stupid and hypocritical concept as explained in the review, whose bad design meant they needed to introduce a stupid telescopic wand that makes it smaller only. The whole thing was so dumb, and not a single video pointed it all out on YT. Utter pollution.
Especially, the bag is the same size as the container of the vacuum. So it would be only for 2-3 uses and then bye bye trees. Even the iRobot Roomba clean base is really bad. No HEPA filter in it, even the bag passes a lot of dust through the motor and into the room.

They don't want you to do anything: since it's a robot vacuum they want it to clean for you and empty itself for you, so you don't have to do anything. I really don't understand Samsung on the other hand because you're already vacuuming yourself, and you bought a bagless vacuum, so i see no point in adding a bag to a bagless vacuum just because their standard emptying system sucks.
Because they don't care about the customer and are quite happy to peddle junk and hope enough victims don't notice. Just look at all the reviews of the clean station. How many of them point out the obvious issues with it? None. Identify and blacklist all channels that do that, because they disservice the public.

Not sure what you mean by "same cleaning action", but cleaning performance is NOT the same, as empirically shown in the video. The samsung is objectively inferior and its technology not as advanced. Yes, I do believe it will retain 80% of its maximum original capacity after 15 years because it was tested formally in a professional laboratory that has a track record of accuracy. This claim assumes the user isn't the idiot that many are out there and use it in boost mode all the time, which absolutely does cripple the battery's lifetime and reduce it to about 2-3 years, as evidence has clearly shown. If you'd bothered to do the slightest shred of fact-checking, you'd understand how this claim is achieved relative to the 5 year claim by competitors. How the battery charge and discharge is managed is crucial to the complex degradation processes occurring at a chemical level within the cells. I picked up the Samsung Jet 90 Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum with Dual Charging Station and Samsung Clean Station for $239.99 on a one day sale on Samsung. Well worth the money! BTW...I sold the Clean Station for $75.00 on eBay as I really had no use for it.
Not convinced it's worth the money; there are better products (e.g. the older dysons) which are cheaper now and perform better, more easily, and with reduced environmental impact.

The Samsung floor dock is far superior to Dyson and drilling it to the wall is unnecessary due to its sturdy weight. If you're renting, then not drilling holes into the wall is a huge advantage. Actual real life performance seems identical. It's the Samsung for me.

Very useful review - great spot on the extending height pole business. I'd been looking at the Samsung vacuums and had noticed the pet attachment pulling up - what a glaring error on their part.
It's probably not an error; it's known about. But their product is a nasty clone. They produce something to look like the best products on the market-on the cheap having bypassed the hard and expensive work of research and development, circumvent patents as best as possible resulting it something that doesn't work as well, then sell it to unsuspecting customers who aren't taught properly to fact-check, think critically, and ask important questions. They're almost certainly deliberately exploiting the victim customer to undercut rivals in an act of a regressive form of capitalism, relying on their brand name secured by decent products in other product classes. The entire purpose of my channel is to help people wise up and learn to spot exploitation.
Dyson's are the worst vacuums I've ever owned and I've had several. They get super dirty, the shrouds get covered in dirt and fluff, they are loud, they don't filter well at all (all Miele machines filter air coming out much much better), cheaply made and just stop after a year or so. I have a Miele Triflex, a Samsung Jet 90 with clean station and a few bagged Miele canisters. The Triflex is world's better than any Dyson. Have a Dyson canister I was given new to test and write a review. Also junk, made poorly, they don't filter air well at all. And this trigger on the Dyson, many, and most older people cannot hold the trigger due to ageing, so it's a poor design. An on off button is much better. My Jet 90 runs easily over 30 mins with floor attachments, either the hard floor or carpet. I do hate it's bagless, so I have the clean station. A perfect solution. Having horrible allergies, I need something that filters the best; Miele and Samsung kill Dyson's over and over. Miele Triflex is not bagged so still causes issues emptying. But it's built great, last a long time and cleans much better. The Samsung is the best of both. I never have to deal with dust from the bin, get a closed bag to empty later on, it also has a HEPA filter that's as good as the Miles, as again Dyson's are not sealed and still don't filter as well. And build quality on Dyson's is just sad. Cheap plastic. And can't rinse them clean. Much happier to rinse and get rid of all the dust. And the floor dock DOES not need to be wall mounted, blatant lie. Dyson fangirls are just as bad as Tesla Fangirls......Dyson didn't invent the centrifugal system of seperating dirt of different sizes, they've been around for decades in industrial applications. Dyson has copied everything. Look at his amazing washing machine lol. And please open one of his bladeless fans or heaters. The amount of dust inside will make anyone vomit. It's disgusting. If he's such a modern inventor, no invention to stop all that dust from caking on the inside of all his fans???? Oh yeah buy those all, spend thousands then buy the Air Filter ones now, as they don't do that, but you need to replace the filter. The have the same motor issues all Dyson fans have had always. I have the jet 90 and like it a lot. But with the V15 out and costing only 50$ more at msrp. the jet90 now obsolete. The bin emptying system of the jet is not great.
The V11 made it obsolete. In fact, so does the V10. There is little to like on this machine when you see it in context relative to what we know can be achieved.

@@honestychampmilland2007 Some people like a range of vacuums because they treat them like toys and the more the merrier. Others (like me) just use them sparingly for their intended purpose. So I only want what works best and makes it easiest in the processes, and minimally harms the environment (within reason). Dyson objectively comes out on top.
i have the v15(sensor stopped reporting on the screen but it still works) and am geting the jet 90 next week with cleaner included for 100 bucks extra, i guess i'll be breaking out the anemometer and other gauges, it will be hard to beat the v15, lupe didnt come close and i gave it to my mom, shark vertex cordlees also failed, plus my v15 is heavily modified with always on trigger device, telescoping wand, under furniture wand adaptor, and 3d printed headlight mount

I choose finally the Samsung Jet 75 because that uses up the least storing space. Dysons over series V8 needing too much space as the stick is hanging ~25 cm from the wall, which is too much if you can not store it in a hidden place, Samsung Jet 75 is more discrete with hanging the stick ~10 cm from the wall. Jet 90 with that stand needs much much more space, even more than Dysons. Dysons design is a bit too gipsy for me, I prefered the clean elegance of Samsung. However performace and accessorywise both are great.
Just one hint to the end, you do not have to use screws on bathroom tiles -if you happen to store it there- just use enough of double sided tape, finding the fitting height so that it slightly stands on the stick to hold the weight.

I really appreciate the effort you got to in these videos. I also like that your comparison charts are not just X and Dyson anymore, but a range of products to give an informative overview. I realise this is likely because you now have the data to do so, but an improvement nonetheless.
I've managed to standardise testing for better relative comparison between products since the review of the final Dyson mains cleaners ua-cam.com/video/YnJ6OqVC_wg/v-deo.html . Still, the earlier testing was just as valid when compared to the Dyson machines tested at the time and the conclusions just as valid. Namely that Dyson products clearly out performs the competition, desipte numbers for irrelevant metrics like motor power, airflow etc. People go on and on about how good the Dyson clones are, yet every single time they provide absolutely no argument or evidence, and when their betters out there actually go and test and put in the work they sadly avoid, they turn out to be 100% wrong. Exposing ignorance, wild unsubstantiated claims, half-truths, or outright misleading falsehoods is what I've made this channel all about. The pollution on YT needs to be shown for what it is.

Just take a look at all other 'reviews' of this device and reflect that these important points that constitute a full truth are conveniently absent. Those that makes those videos are either not bright enough to notice important things that matter, or are wilfully telling a half truth and deceiving people, since many of them got their product for free to say only the nice things about it like ad-bots. Stupid or corrupt, that's all you can see out there now. That's why YT has become polluted now. It terribly reflects humanity. Hopefully my channel compensates a bit for the awfulness out there.

I've seen no evidence the LG isn't a poor dyson clone, like everything else I've measured.
I love how Samsung claims the Jet 90 has 27 cyclones, when there's actually only 9 cyclones with 3 openings for each cyclone for air to enter, but yet it clogged up in your flour pickup test, basically proving that their cheap knockoff of Dyson's Root Cyclone technology just doesn't match the separation efficiency that Dyson vacuums have. This reminds me of the "Do The Math" marketing Atari did for their Jaguar game console, claiming it had 64-bit graphics because it used 2 32-bit processors, but in reality, it wasn't 64 bit at all, compared to the Nintendo 64 game console.
Yup. You've got to watch the marketing types and fact check their half-truths. And yet I'm called 'biased' for pointing out things like this by people who champion feelings over facts. It's also not the number of cyclones that's important. In fact, Dyson's next model is reducing the number of cyclones in operation depending on flow current in a given mode to maximise their effectiveness. Marketing assume people are very, very stupid (which, for the most part, is sadly true due to a total failure of the state to educate in critical thinking) and suggest 'more' and 'bigger' is automatically better. Using less to achieve more is really what's better.

That's pretty smart, considering that on a low power mode, trying to distribute the lesser airflow throughout all of the cyclones would mean more fine dust gets through, so having it shut off some of the cyclones to adapt is very clever.
I have a V8 and battery is failing (OEM USD$130) so looking at the Samsung 75 at $250 (same specs as 90 minus useless extras). There’s no debate Dyson puts more R&D into their vacuums and they’re the best and did it for for longest time. Samsungs mistake is to price their new adventure close enough to Dyson with a slightly inferior product, but do you really think Samsung cares about R&D in this sector to try to be best in class? To label all others as “copycats” seems totally unfair, and most have lower price points and will perform adequately for the average consumer who don’t want to pay the price premium. The emptying station makes no sense to me but I suppose my asthmatic/allergic sister who sneezes every time she empties the small Dyson bin may actually find this expensive optional “innovation” useful
Yes. Although, I think you might have misunderstood the definition of "copycat". Samsung's product is a total clone of a formfactor invented by another company; others have also jumped on the lucrative bandwagon seeing as it's clearly the future. I think the accusation stands. A v8 is a product that's many years old, so it's not that surprising to hear of batteries reaching the end of their service life. That lifetime is also dependent on how it was treated. Many ignore the manual and use it in high power mode all the time and wonder why it fails prematurely. I had a Dyson cordles stick vac (DC35) for 7 years and it still worked as new with full battery capacity when I upgraded, so islated stories don't say much. Also, It's possible to empty the Dyson without making a dust cloud causing sneezes; there are videos on my channel demonstrating and explaining this that might be worth reviewing.

It doesn't have a head light and it was the default head that comes with the unit reviewed.
One thing for sure is that this Samsung is much better made than Dysons rubbish fragile build. Of course as a Dyson lover you would not be able to accept that fact!
I'd accept it as a fact if you actually objectively and reputably evidenced your wild claim. Not once ever have you done so in all the contrarian comments you've left here. Haha I got 2 bags of zorb recently, one bag lasted me just enough to do 2x area rugs, the hallway and a kitchen rug so it's quite a small bag and I tried using it sparingly, a little does go a long way if brushed right but it is what it is
The v15 will be wayyyy more useful than a bag of zorb you use it a few times a day you feel better about the purchase
I haven't used the second bag yet as it got lost in transit and arrived a few weeks late
Thanks for the review. I was considering this vacuum but ended up getting the V15 instead. I did receive the Samsung to test out for a couple of days in back to back tests with the V15. The Samsung did handle well, looked good and the performance wasn’t too shabby, but your criticisms are fair. One thing I may have missed though; did you include any hard floor tests with the soft roller head? I found that to be better performing on hard floor types. Dyson with the V15 has also gone back to including a soft roller head that I’ve found to be easier to use on hard floors (slim profile, lightweight and no gates to mess around with). Just curious.
This pet version does not come with a soft roller head. I would have criticised it anyway. Firstly, it would have been a copycat clone of Dysons head that they invented. Secondly, having to change heads is not good (and this applies to Dyson as well, covered here ua-cam.com/video/AXaIFntIhkM/v-deo.html ). Changing gates on a well designed head suitable for all floor types is a lot less hassle than changing entire heads (and getting out, carrying, putting away etc.), and performance of the main head is exactly the same for normal real-world mess levels, as evidenced. There is nothing admirable about the Samsung product. Consumers deserve better. No one has pointed any of this out elsewhere on YT, which is poor.

Yes, changing heads is annoying, Dyson or otherwise. However, between the two heads provided with the V15, there’s got to a reason beyond the surprisingly useful laser that Dyson went back to a soft roller. Granted, the supposedly improved anti tangle infused brush head does work on multiple floor types, though I’d still argue there’s method to including two heads. Curious how you’d view the V15 if it’s on the testing agenda!
@@jsgenus1 Yep, and I think it was because lockdown so badly affected their productivity that they had to rely on revamping existing assets as a fallback. The laser has no practical benefit when inspected carefully, as I'll discuss eventually in the V15 review. They've unusually relied more on cosmetics this generation. The anti-tangle and other things are the best new additions, but the V15 was surprisingly V11-like.
@@VacuumFacts The laser and by extension the ‘kill count’ particle counter goes come across as immaterial to core functionality and usefulness (the latter more so), though I have found the laser in my case to be quite revealing in certain situations. It is kind of useless in bright light though. I’m not too sure about the recycling technology argument, since the soft roller isn’t a reused part from previous versions, but rather a newly developed one, laser aside. While the core R&D would have been carried out for soft rollers in general, it does strike me as more than meets the eye when it comes to its utility. I realize I am not being objective, lacking numerical evidence of it’s supposed usefulness, but nonetheless, I have found something to be said for its low weight and slim profile at the least. @@jsgenus1 While a laser reveals particles better than an LED lamp (only on flat hard floor), which was the reason why LED supporters argued (unconvincingly) that it was useful even on carpet, it's a moot point because all the fallacies of the LED lamp I've outlined in the Shark review still apply: ua-cam.com/video/I9wBMTuX8iU/v-deo.html The revised fluffy head changes were actually developed and released originally for products in Eastern markets where homes generally don't have carpet. They were seemingly brought into this model to add more headline features due to the impact of lockdown on productivity. The laser and particle counter don't have any obvious practical benefit, but have a cosmetic nerd factor for marketing to magnetise with.
The lack of genuine justification for a fluffy head (as good as it is) is covered here ua-cam.com/video/AXaIFntIhkM/v-deo.html . People like it though, so maybe that was another reason for Dyson to reintroduce it. The fact is, it is not necessary, doesn't achieve anything that the main head doesn't (for real-world messes), and burdens the user with the need to change heads (and all the other related hassle). I've seen no evidence to the contrary and can't find any myself despite owning one. I do feel the main head needs the felt strips bringing back though to soften the movement on hard floor, just like the mains cleaners had, and the fact the V15 main head is virtually identical to the V11 I can only attribute to lockdown development stagnation.
after 3 years the trigger broked , tried to change it and wen i open it , the electronic boards was all coverd whit glue stick, and i gaved up , it was hard to take , and the connecter has two hair small wires so i will go for the samsung 95. is was dyson v10 that died
How did the trigger break? Almost every trigger doesn't break, so something specific must have happened. I've never seen anyone show how it can be reproduced in a convincing way. Always hard to tell fact from fiction from comments.

Appreciate the reviews, it goes into depth other channels do not. I've watched a couple of the other videos and they're pretty nice the analysis and background data.
I used a mile (edit: miele) corded prior, and it doesn't really agitate the carpet like the dyson does, all the other corded just try to overpower the carpet by just giving it more suction and ended up lifting my carpet when I really went hard on an area to agitate it with the standard upholstery tool.
The dyson does it cleanly and efficiently from my experience, though I guess sometimes people do prefer just suction. I do see a bit of both sides, but I personally prefer a dyson after trying the two. Though it is expensive. Tradeoffs at the end of the day.

Looking at replacing my 13 year old dyson dc25 ball for a sebo Felix or X7 until I started watching a lot of your videos. What vac would you recommend and do you think it is worth waiting for the Dyson V15 detect to release in the UK?
I don't 'recommend' specific products as such. I just reveal the facts and full truth so people can make up their own minds. If you want the best on the market and have the money, Dyson products do perform the best, are the most usable, and have minimal relative environmental impact. Otherwise, lesser products are more affordable. Worth shopping around and making a decision.
@@VacuumFacts there are objective Tests showing that Dysons are not the be-all-end-all in Performance. Theres a huge german vac reviewer that tested dysons and many others and dyson does not even go above average in cleaning power on carpet while Sansung was one of the best, together with Bosch.
I was highly annoyed at your Dyson bias in this video. No product is perfect and the fact that you hardly had any negatives to say about Dyson and that you used marketing claims as evidence shows to me that I should not trust your reviews.

Okay then, let me explain some points why I think this "review" is wrong and annoying, in no particular order.
At 8:38 you start talking about battery longevity. I assume you are taking pictures from Samsung and Dyson marketing here and just regurgitate Dysons claim that their batteries last this long. What you conveniently leave out is Consumer Reports findings that 50% of Dyson stick vacs die within 5 years, the overwhelming majority of them because of battery issues. Off course, you are going to claim that all of those failures are user error just like you did in your other videos comments, but if the charging logic is so good, why does it even allow user error? The only advice the manual gives about charging is about battery/environmental temperature, especially recharging a hot battery directly after use. A baby could develop a system that keeps the battery from charging when its hot, yet Dyson fails to implement it in their "industry leading" charging logic?
Following 4:14, you state that it is annoying that you have to take out the dust bin on the Samsung model, while a little later you are amazed by the great 5 sec 1 motion emptying mechanism of the Dyson, conveniently leaving out that you have to take off the cleaning tool in the Dyson because of their inline design. I agree with you that emptying the V11 is more effortless than the Jet 75/90, but leaving out the cons of the Dyson makes you come across as dishonest. Imho, Samsung also one-upped Dyson with their newer Bespoke Jet, integrating the cleaning station that empties the bin and simultaneously pulls dust from the filters just by putting it away to charge, without any disassembly required and 100% allergy friendly. Yes, the clean station has disadvantages, but so does the Dyson.

A feather trigger is good, but there are situations where it is much easier to have a toggle switch, especially things like cleaning overhead, where you might not want to hold the pistol grip like you normally would. The fact that this 600$ machine lacks a simple mechanism that allows the user to optionally latch the trigger is a gross oversight. Also, I highly doubt the trigger does anything for battery life, if it is so light that simply holding the device triggers it. Dyson users frequently complain about the fact that they have to hold down the trigger, but you happily ignore this fact or dismiss them as haters and claim the trigger system is the best thing since sliced bread.
I ran out of motivation to search you video(s) for all of the other stuff that bothers me, but the TL:DR is pretty much that to me, you come across as a hard Dyson fanboy that can not admit when another company does something better than his favorite, Dyson. The whole review is basically you calling everyone but Dyson "Copycats", ignoring all of the innovation that is going on in the industry beyond "cyclones", "digital motors" and other fancy Dyson marketing names. The disadvantages of this absurd concept are meticulously outlined. You considered the possibility of what would happen if it did have a locking mechanism. It would be used all the time, bypassing the trigger advantages. Given most people use it in boost mode all tie time, somewhat harmfully, this accelerates aging. The only time when a lock might be valuable is two handed above floor cleaning during dusting. But this is a small percentage of total use time and is easily worked around one-handed anyway. Nevertheless, a locking switch that only worked when an above floor tool was on wouldn’t go amiss.

This is a dub statement for two obvious reasons. Firstly, you imply that people have no control over it, which contradicts the common false claim that it’s hard to press. Secondly, it’s not clear what evidence you’re basing your scepticism on. Evidence shows that you can save up to 30% of the battery charge by intelligent, practiced use of the trigger, ensuring it’s not on when you don’t need it, e.g., when moving around or picking something up etc.

I have a quick question, is the Dyson V8 Animal still good in 2022? since most of the newer dysons where im from are a bit TOO much..
The V8 was never intended as a mains replacement and not marketed as one. I've never tested it, but I wouldn't be surprised if its performance still surpassed the latest models that I've reviewed on my channel from competitor brands. If the latest Dyson cordless stick vac is something you genuinely want, I recommend saving up for it until you have enough in the kitty to buy it without guilt, by which time, the next model might be out. They genuinely are the best vacuum cleaners on the market (because that's their design goal-as evidenced by the price!).

Dyson still ahead in bagless technology. When are the new solid state batteries coming out?
Still ahead? They were never behind-and by a HUGE margin. Copycat clones are scummy cashins that milk consumer ignorance for profit, and it took the best of us to show the obvious. RE batteries: It's a good question actually. I don't know. I was expecting (and I'm sure Dyson was, based on their earlier forecast) that new technologies would be to market by now. But they're obviously struggling scaling this technology up from lab to consumer scales. And I'm sure lockdown has really badly affected Dyson's productivity (and others), and why the V15 is so generally underwhelming and V11-like despite 2 years of development. But that no one has brought this battery tech to market yet, despite major research and development by many unrelated manufacturers, shows just how hard a scientific and engineering challenge it is. Between 2020 and 2030, solid state battery market share was expected to exponentiate. I'd be amazed if the next Dyson itteration didn't have it in, but again, lockdown has held technological development back by a couple of years. And old fashioned Li-ion batteries are the real weak point in cordless products (especially high drain devices like vacuums). Dyson's superiority will really take off once the battery bottleneck is solved. Cordless yet mains performance with substantial run times in a single battery will be the target.

@@2711marcus Interestingly, Tesla seem to be pushing Li-ion still, finding ways to scrape more out of it. The future is in other chemistries-at least in principle. And yeah, green and high tech industries are the future, and skillsets will need to be more technical. STEM subjects at uni, know how to code etc. In general; plenty of other good jobs as well.

The issue I have with dyson apart from the price tag is the crappy build quality and materials used. They feel cheap, creak and are brittle.
You claimed they had "crappy build quality and materials", then relied on 'feelings' instead of evidence to support your claim. Your feelings are opposite to reality. They use the most advanced polymers around and are evidenced beyond all reasonable doubt to be durable, especially relative to the competition (see all the official durability testing videos online for a start). And then there's the warranty of 2 years, which is more than enough to show problems if it really is 'cheap, creaky and brittle'. This is a complete misconception, unsupported by evidence, and at odds with reality. The only thing you got right was the price tag. I can get a Dyson V11 torque drive new in the box for about 400 dollars. Do you think this is worth it or should I bite the bullet and go with the V15? Also, just got some Dyson zorb and cleaned my carpets (used to use a hoover spin scrub) and I can not believe how fresh and soft they are. Your videos on zorb were extremely helpful in making this Decision. And compared to other dry cleaning methods zorb is by far the best I have used. Originally that’s why I got the Hoover, other dry cleaning just didn’t work but I will be sticking with zorb from now on.

My dyson barely worked after 5 years and just died so I dunno about comparison to Dyson claims.
I and many others have had Dyson machines working as new several years after purchase. Go figure. They're designed to last 10 years at the very least on the condition they're treated responsibly with basic and simple care, as outlined in the manual. I suspect many other 'high-grade' products would last more than 5 years with good care.

Competition is not determined by 'price'; it's determined by capability. All such products are marketed to the same audience and claim to do the same thing. It's blindingly obvious that they're therefore in direct competition with each other and fair game for objective comparison. Not sure why this isn't glaringly apparent. You can't argue that the Henry providing a straight suction head therefore excuses it from being criticised for doing so, just because it's cheaper. People are entitled to hear an argument and see evidence about the consequences of that decision. Your claim that it's only meant for hard floors is simply false and at odds with Henry's marketing. I even showed in its review the hard floor performance and where it fails. You simply have no argument whatsoever. As for your claim about the V11 missing junk in the carpet; I simply don't believe you because you provided no quantification or evidence, and your claim is in stark contrast to evidence available. I already know where this conversation is going to go now: further down misleading, wild-claim alley.

Pity you didn't state how, let alone then evidence it in a manner that thoroughly addressed everything already raised and evidenced in the video. What is presented is the full truth. If facts look like 'one sided' then maybe it means that the product the Samsung product was compared to was such that it really is objectively 'one-sided' on matters that are relevant, and the Jet 90 isn't as good by all measurable and relevant metrics. I don't expect you to be prepared to make a respectable, cojent argument that is evidence supported, as in this video, so people can make their own minds up based on the evidence shown.

The criteria by which I determine how to invest my time on any given product is the evidence the manufacturer provides to illustrate their objective superiority over the competition-or not, if they just make strong claims. Formal industry standard test data (which I accept is a little difficult since the IEC standards for cordless aren't finalised), evidence of relative ease of use and technological superiority, and impact on the environment. The stronger these criteria are evidenced or addressed by the manufacturer over the competition, the more likely I am to purchase and test a product. The probability of me testing a device can also be increased with a strong, no quibble returns, collect and return 30+ day home trial service.

Yup. And how many other reviews of this machine pointed that out? Or did they either keep it quiet, or not even notice. So many vague, half-truth reviews out there. They're all doing the same with the V15 too... YT is littered with pollution.
Did you notice how at 3:58, marketing deceive you by suggesting there are 27 cyclones? There are clearly only 9, and they distort reality by implying that because each has 3 entrances, that therefore makes 3 times as many cyclones. It turns out that multiple entrances makes the cyclones less efficient, and they only do this to bypass the need for stronger suction motors to overcome the corresponding airflow restrictions. It's another compromise that's marketed as a virtue, when in reality, it's a setback. And no one pointed this out in other reviews... shameful.

It's classic regressive capitalism. Let someone else do all the hard and expensive R&D work. They've patented it like 'trolls', but we can sweep in on the cheap with a nasty clone. It doesn't work as well, but F the cattle buying it; we'll let marketing patch those cracks and spin that we're doing it for them. And to maximise profit margin at the expense of said cattle, and thanks to said marketing, we can charge almost as much! It's called 'competition' and our plump shareholders are quite happy with this arrangement.

This mediocre product is grossly overpriced, as many clones often are to try and tout the money off people who don't know better, sadly. Unfortunately, this is what led Dyson to price their latest model so unbelievably high, to absolutely guarantee that the clones couldn't scam by charging almost as much and falsely imply they're as good. So, Samsung and others are indirectly responsible for that too.
I can't get over how stupid and ridiculous the clean station concept is... Imagine having a whole damn machine taking up space in your house just to empty your vacuum. That is insane to me.
And to be honest the floor base provided with the Samsung is super ugly compared to the V11 one. The Samsung one is so low it looks like a children's toy.
And how many reviews of it out there even mentioned that once? Not one that I could find. Utterly disgusting. Some reviews, despite not having a Clean Station to test, boasted how amazing it was and how they wanted one "because it's cool" (or words to that effect). Especially when you realised some who priased it got one for free. Never ever trust anything anyone says from now on, anywhere on YT, if they got the product for free. No wonder Dyson didn't give any V15 freebies out. YT was much cleaner for it. The floor base was a totally stupid and hypocritical concept as explained in the review, whose bad design meant they needed to introduce a stupid telescopic wand that makes it smaller only. The whole thing was so dumb, and not a single video pointed it all out on YT. Utter pollution.
Especially, the bag is the same size as the container of the vacuum. So it would be only for 2-3 uses and then bye bye trees. Even the iRobot Roomba clean base is really bad. No HEPA filter in it, even the bag passes a lot of dust through the motor and into the room.
@@jonny11bonk i partially agree with you but i see iRobot's point. They don't want you to do anything: since it's a robot vacuum they want it to clean for you and empty itself for you, so you don't have to do anything. I really don't understand Samsung on the other hand because you're already vacuuming yourself, and you bought a bagless vacuum, so i see no point in adding a bag to a bagless vacuum just because their standard emptying system sucks.
Because they don't care about the customer and are quite happy to peddle junk and hope enough victims don't notice. Just look at all the reviews of the clean station. How many of them point out the obvious issues with it? None. Identify and blacklist all channels that do that, because they disservice the public.
If you were people who actually have to clean their houses, and not just nerds who are interested in vaccum technology, then you could understand the value of the clean station... Please
