OK, am I the only one who's gonna talk about Phil's fingernails. I have NO issues with how long they are but please use a nail file(to shape them)! I would even pay for him to get a manicure. Don't misunderstand me, I LOVE this show and Phil is one of my favorite people. I love his character his accent his wild hair & his hat, but everytime they show a close up of him holding sometime...it make me cringe and I totally miss what his talking about. Sooooo...... Phil, please could you use a nail file or in your case maybe make yourself a really cool "flint file"......PLEASE?😘
You obviously don’t understand the process of archaeology. You construct your facts based on what evidence you have, experience and history of other digs and make educated hypothesis.

While I take no issue with the framework you propose, there appears to be a great deal that YOU apparently don’t understand. Like the fact that one can hardly expect to gather sufficient evidence to support ANY firm hypothesis over the course of a single three day dig.........and then presume to immediately draw firm conclusions on the basis of the fragmentary evidence uncovered. For all you, me, or anyone knows, they’ve unearthed the foundation of the compound outhouse. You remind me of an oceanographer stumbling across the wreck of Titanic and concluding that only a storm could break such a huge vessel in half. A very reasonable, but altogether incorrect conclusion based on assumptions drawn from insufficient data.
@@martyzielinski1442 well actually. I’m a trained archaeologist with a degree and several digs so I do know what it takes. Much of their analysis is after the fact (and behind the scenes lab work) in the voice overs given by narrator. And if you listen closely Phil and mick never claim anything without some grounded work. They won’t fabricate. Many of their digs were further dug by other groups and there are actual published reports.

This is a tricky subject for British and Irish people but very nicely done by time team .
Im part of the diaspora nowin America and my ancestors where from Tyrone and Derry and.we were Oniells so this is priceless

He is literally digging through dirt, rubble and stone. You try that while keeping your nails perfectly manicured..
