My Father had a international 80 pull type combine and he now has a 81 Gleaner k2 self propelled combine i like that you are harvesting with large pull type harvesters no computers just you and the tractor and pull type harvester and the field
I have never seen a 7721 before but 7720s and 8820s go for ever. They are a very tough machine and Australian operators always push stuff to the max. You stole it. Jeff
Finally, I've waited a long time, but I finally got to see something green to be used for harvesting. It will only be a matter of time now and the conversion will take place. Halleluiah!!
I just bought a 7721 JD and it’s in really nice shape. I had a older mechanic come over and did some minor adjustments and Boy she is doing a nice job. And I impressed how clean my barley is.
NICE! a Deere combine! always wondered why you didn't have one. And now you do! hope you have even better luck with it than the other ones. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOINE!
I purchased a new 7721 in 1986 and put 18 crops through it, 1000 to 1200 acres a year. It was very dependable and easy to service. Only thing the 1482s had over it was they were better in barley.
Dang the luck of the Ball Joint. Can't say I've ever seen one of those pull type combines used here in my area. Hope the new to one works out for you guys. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWON!!! Where's the "Townie Girls". 🍻🍻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁😁
Used a pull type 6601 jd for many, many years. For what we had to do at the time it was the perfect answer. Once we started growing beans and more corn, no longer the answer. But i would run one again!
This year around here the 600,000 combines can't drive fast enough!!! May as well have a 3,000 pull type.... no payments....no $ worries.... 7721 awesome machines
Awesome video .that was nice of you got twan a cake ..your farm is real nice looking and still still green in like us in the western states of the USA ..I'd say the 2800 you payed for the pull behind combine was a good buy it does sound good behind that tractor ...
Dad had a 7701 for a few years. Used it behind a 4640. I’d really be impressed if you picked up the rare Deere 9501. 7721 was a decent combine, but....watch the rubber shoe bushings.
A few of them pull types around here doing wheat corn and beans. Good idea less crap to deal with. I went to Filmore Sask when I was 14 and the place we stayed had 3 82's the first I had been close to.
Can’t say ive ever seen a pull type combine of that vintage here in ohio. The old school Allis all crop machine, yes, but everything that vintage was self propelled here
Yeah the pull types were popular on the prairies where they swathed everything back in the day. Hard to put a wide header on one LOL:) BUT, a swath pickup, well, it'll pick up whatever swath you put in front of it... want to run a 30 foot swather, do it-- the width is in the swather not the combine. Later! OL J R :)
Never any fun when you wheels don't stay where they supposed to?🤬😂 Nice Deere combine it's year model as me lol👍 Tell ole magnum happy birthday for me!🎂🎉👍
I saw a 7721 at Rantoul Illinois farm show. It would really eat the corn and soybeans like a hog in fresh slop! It was almost too much machine for the 4620 John Deere hooked to it. Hope yours works very well for you.
Just perfect if it can put the chaff on top of the straw in the windrow , ( oh and any grain losses off the sieves as well ! lol ) what a great buy Nick ~
Happy birthday Twon!!!!!! Need to do a side by comparison with the Red and Green pull types. Like those old dealer videos back in the day. Go to Green House the competition machine is crap.,.. Go to Red House the competition machine is crap.... Those old videos were pretty good!
Now you just need a 2590/94 or a nice boxcar Magnum to hook up to the 772once. Seems like way back when, it was always Deere tractors on Case combines, and Case tractors on Deere combines. Only a few of the die hards had matching brands. But everyone had an 850 or 60 Massey running along side too.
OMG 🙄 you bought a Deere combine 😲🤪😵🤬🤬🤬 Well, I guess one pass harvest and planting..lol.. You can bale straw behind an axial flow, just gotta get rid of the chopper. Freaking ball joints, always letting you down.. Happy Birthday Antoine!!! A cake and a box of Magnums 👍👍
I'm surprised more farmers are not pursuing pull type combines. Self-propelled units you are buying a tractor that sits all year except for two weeks to a month of harvest, but the payments don't stop all year. If a tractor goes down you can sub in a second backup tractor and keep combining.
7721 looks decent. I leave the chopper on, just pull the knives all the way back, reverse the outer deflectors and remove the rest so it funnels the straw into a nice row. Check those top feeder shaft bearings. Mine wore out and then wore the shaft out too before I noticed it. Expensive fix there.
Did Grandpa Henry come through with more Magnums for Twon? Gotta keep the population in check around there. There can only be one Twon no need to try and make more. 😄😄
Shit I forgot to tell you where you grease that seal while it's apart you cut a piece out of a antifreeze jug and slip it in there. Canola, oats and barley don't hurt much but wheat gets in there and takes the seal of the bearing out. All coming back to me now
My Father had a international 80 pull type combine and he now has a 81 Gleaner k2 self propelled combine i like that you are harvesting with large pull type harvesters no computers just you and the tractor and pull type harvester and the field
Gotta love them pull type combines especially if you're on a budget it's one less engine and driveline to maintain.
Happy Birthday Twon.
You mean its been a year since Grandpa Henry gave 'twon a Box of Magnums ???
Happy Birthday Magnum 🎈🥳🎊🥂 good video Nick the new pull type sure runs quietly good luck with barley harvest 👍👍
haven't been on a combine in almost 40 years but immediately noticed the swath being picked backwards. Ive still got it.
It is hard to go from an axial flow to a conventional deere
Just for the straw lol!
@@IH_5288 It's not if you want to bale!
I just bought a 7721 JD and it’s in really nice shape. I had a older mechanic come over and did some minor adjustments and Boy she is doing a nice job. And I impressed how clean my barley is.
Gets the job done. And no payments. And dont forget no computer software to stop you from fixing it yourself.
I like the John Deere Combine
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTOINE ...Hope you had a Blessed Day...
used to have an old case pull type like this! great to see theyre still alive!!!
That new to you combine sure is nice!! Happy 15th birthday twione.
Look at that you got a matching harvesting set now!
NICE! a Deere combine! always wondered why you didn't have one. And now you do! hope you have even better luck with it than the other ones. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOINE!

Good to see a couple of PTO machines working.
Great video and happy birthday to Twon 🎂🎂🎁😀

I love the new-old Deere combine that will last you a long time 💚💚💚. Happy birthday Magnum 🎂🎈🎊🎉🚀🍺🍺
That should be a good combine. We had a 7721 and it was a excellent combine. Happy birthday magnum!
Happy birthday twon from Australia 😎
At least you are getting a crop to harvest, lots of guys are getting nothing.
Used a pull type 6601 jd for many, many years. For what we had to do at the time it was the perfect answer. Once we started growing beans and more corn, no longer the answer. But i would run one again!
Pull types make sense to me. Less engines to maintain. And Toine ' -- Happy Birthday, you old Sandusky Pump Handle you.
Happy birthday to the Stud Duck of Saskatchewan! (Antoine). Ha ha ha.
Can't wait to see how the Deere does.
Doc
Jay-sus Nick! A RED tractor and now a GREEN combine? Do Toine and Ivan need to stage an intervention?
Hey Nick at least the dirtymax let you down under a shade tree🤠🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Happy birthday MULLET MAGNUM, thanks for the videos and stay safe.
Happy Birthday Twon !!! Nice purchase on the Deere!!!
Gorgeous harvesting pair 👍🏻
Tell ol twan Happy Birthday!!
This year around here the 600,000 combines can't drive fast enough!!! May as well have a 3,000 pull type.... no payments....no $ worries.... 7721 awesome machines
I wonder what the true cost per acre is between running junk and a 600,000 dollar machine?
Awesome video .that was nice of you got twan a cake ..your farm is real nice looking and still still green in like us in the western states of the USA ..I'd say the 2800 you payed for the pull behind combine was a good buy it does sound good behind that tractor ...
nice old deere :) i like pulltype combines.. my friend has a ih 914 pulltype works pretty good..
👍 nice camera on the feeder house and no neck crick
Nice looking JD combine Nick
Another gem fellers...seems like a sweet deal ya got on the cowboy combine👌🏻keep crushin it guys y’all rock💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Wow !! I thought funny cake was only a Pennsylvania thing.
Hard to argue at that price for sure, hopefully she works great for ya! Worked on many of them combines! Good old machines for sure!
Happy birthday Magnum
With the 7721 and dropping straw u will save some of throw over in bales 😊
They had a habit of throwing over
Happy B'day. Twon not chasing those Town Girls, eh?
Now that sir is a pretty site.!! Can't go wrong when green on green 👌
Happy Birthday Antoine!!
Dad had a 7701 for a few years. Used it behind a 4640. I’d really be impressed if you picked up the rare Deere 9501. 7721 was a decent combine, but....watch the rubber shoe bushings.
There is one for sale here but hard to get parts for it
A few of them pull types around here doing wheat corn and beans. Good idea less crap to deal with. I went to Filmore Sask when I was 14 and the place we stayed had 3 82's the first I had been close to.
I think it was a smart move to get that 7721, and for that kind of money, I would be looking for a second one. Mighty cheap capacity.
Great video Nick good luck combining your barley
Thanks for the video. 🚜🇺🇸🚜
Can’t say ive ever seen a pull type combine of that vintage here in ohio. The old school Allis all crop machine, yes, but everything that vintage was self propelled here

Use to be lots of 7721s in our area at one time. One guy east of us has a 9501.
Happy birthday toine next purchase is probably another 86 series tractor
Proud ofyou to owna JD combine brother
Neat pull type Combine, dont see those much, but you seem to sure get the use out of them, guess its less to worry about.
I saw a 7721 at Rantoul Illinois farm show. It would really eat the corn and soybeans like a hog in fresh slop! It was almost too much machine for the 4620 John Deere hooked to it. Hope yours works very well for you.
That combine will thrash $2800 worth this year easy, ha!
Pull type makes so much sense when you have the good tractors anyways !
Just perfect if it can put the chaff on top of the straw in the windrow , ( oh and any grain losses off the sieves as well ! lol ) what a great buy Nick ~
And think of how much computers and software it DOESN'T have !! ( that"s a good thing )
My Dad had a John Deere 7721 combine.
👍👍and a Happy Birthday!
Glad you found something for the 4440 to do this fall.
Happy birthday Twon!!!!!! Need to do a side by comparison with the Red and Green pull types. Like those old dealer videos back in the day. Go to Green House the competition machine is crap.,.. Go to Red House the competition machine is crap.... Those old videos were pretty good!

Uh oh look out gonna be going all green now lol haha 🤣😂😆 just giving you shit. Hope it works good for you guys
Funny this morning dad and I were just talking about finding a pull type to drop straw
Lol
Happy Birthday Antoine
Happy Birthday Twon good video Nick
We had a couple 1682 and they were a good combine, had a 9501 jd and it was awesome too
Oh wow. Don't think they made or sold too many 9501's. Pull types were discontinued shortly after. Would love to see one of those is action.
Nice!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Love the new addition
OMG 🙄 you bought a Deere combine 😲🤪😵🤬🤬🤬
Well, I guess one pass harvest and planting..lol..
You can bale straw behind an axial flow, just gotta get rid of the chopper.

A cake and a box of Magnums 👍👍
Not hardly piss all yup.
combine looks good 👍👌

My amazing canola crop 100 yards back must have startled the duramax and she blew a leg.
a freind of mine here in Australia youse to run those pull type combines on his property sadly you dont see them around much anymore.
Your flying good now jd pull type
Great job.
Sounds like a steel at 2800. Looking forward to seeing it run.
Ok good to know!
Haven’t seen many pull type combines
That’s pretty sweet
Love seeing more " Green " on the farm .. Niceeeeee
best combine ever made, I ran mine for 5 years never fixed a thing, keep it greased and they run like a DEER.. HI5 guys ya has a awesome combine now
Oh no he got another toy 😂 haha good for you nick
Damn I wanted to see the green machine working
Intro should be cut down to about 10 seconds. Love the green combine. Put quite a few hours on a JD 462O pulling a JD 7701.
Did Grandpa Henry come through with more Magnums for Twon? Gotta keep the population in check around there. There can only be one Twon no need to try and make more. 😄😄
Lol
I'm only here for the Massey 860, ha!
Didn't fix the tail light on the 860😉. Happy birthday Magnum!!
Pull types are king
4440must b snorting on that combine. We had a 4640 on a 7721 and it could make that 46 snort!
Hardly noticed it
Happy birthday Antoine :)
2594 would look good on the 1682 to lol
Now your really in the big time
We just bought a John DEERE 435 with NET WRAP shitboys we are in the big time now look out everyone Bahaaaaa
Good stuff, thanks.
Ahh you gotta get a cyclone mounted on the back of that to drop the chaff on the windrow. Really make that chaff blower pay. Makes pretty good feed.
That's the plan
Happy birthday magnum
Shit I forgot to tell you where you grease that seal while it's apart you cut a piece out of a antifreeze jug and slip it in there. Canola, oats and barley don't hurt much but wheat gets in there and takes the seal of the bearing out. All coming back to me now
Happy Birthday 🎂
Getting quite the collection of equipment.
