Thank you Daniel. I have been to Munich many times as it has regular flights there from where i live and I always enjoy it, im glad you have visited as well and hope you liked it. Have a great easter, cheers from barnyz
Thanks for watching. I very nearly did, it was a hard choice not to. I did visit and record the Asamkirche (im a big fan of baroque and rococco architecture) so i have the footage and info. maybe next time i need to make a top 15 or 20!
Very nice, Barney, the next best thing to being there. When my wife and I went to Germany maybe ten years ago, we stayed at the Stacchus Hotel east of the HBF. When we checked in, the girl there asked if this was my first time in Munich. I told "I was here before you were born". Her eyes got wide and she laughed just a bit. I told her I lived in Neu Ulm for two years back in '84 and '85. She was a bit surprised. 😮
Thank you. I've been to Munich quite a few times (this video contains footage from 4 different trips), I would love to live there or somewhere nearby. Hope you are having an excellent week cheers from barnyz
Hallo Barnyz.
Thank you for this video, it brought back great memories of this city which I have visited many times. It is also a fantastic place to base yourself if you want to tour the region, Nuremberg and Salzburg are two must see cities both perfect for day trips from Munich. For anyone visiting Germany for the first time, Munich is a great choice. beware of the summer months though as it can be incredibly hot!
Thank you. Its a great city (also why I visited many times) and i totally agree a perfect base. I usually stay in Munich near the main train station and then make trips all over bavaria from there (as you see in my other videos). And yeah summer is too hot, normally I go in Autumn and Winter. better weather (for me) and a few less tourists everywhere
I am planning to go there in December for 4 days i hope i'll get the chance to see all these spots! they seem amazing! i am also planning to visit the Dachau camp and the Bayern Munich football club museum, as I do love history of war and football haha thank you for the tips!
Thank you for watching. Its a wonderful city. I think December is a great time to visit as you will have the xmas markets. You might even get lucky and have snow :)
I have always wanted to visit Muchich, it has so much to offer! wonderful spots, historical buildings and green areas! I specially loved Englischer Garten, it looks perfect to relax in nature after a day of hard work 👍
I lived in Munich for a year and at first I felt this place is so beautiful with lovely nature, mountains, lakes, rivers and waterfalls as well as a super neat and clean smart and posh city with wonderful shops and high end boutiques so rich but after I spent 6-7 months there it did get a bit dull and boring making me feel trapped in a snow globe because there’s nothing really so exciting that happens there and there’s no connection between people plus what’s such a shame that for such a city with such high quality vibes that you will never find a restaurant with delicious food which doesn’t make sense especially for a place that’s seen as the “Milan of Germany”. I still cherish my experience of living there but I don’t feel the need to be there again but I did like it. I’m now back in Berlin where it’s a lot more lively with more choice and selection in a more open world rather than closed like Munich.
Thanks for watching. It seems everyone has different ideas of what makes a nice place to live or visit :) Munich is perfect for me as it has so much culture and history, and if that's not enough you can also hop on a train and be in the mountains in less than 2 hours.
@@Barnyz oh no doubt yes at first Munich is a total eye catcher for everyone I really felt this was a place I can settle down in and really loved it at first for my first 6 months but just afterwards just wasn’t a place I couldn’t see myself stay in for good but I still am grateful for the goodness I felt and gained in Munich. It just feels like a closed model toy city later on that’s all. If anything it’s all positivity and no negativeness I throw at the Bavarian capital 🩵🤍.
I’m going next year, but I know what you mean for a city looks very quiet I’m from England a city here is really busy. Everyday this looks empty on all the videos I’ve seen.
Great video as always Barnyz, I did a Christmas market day there once from Nuremberg (which was amazing - so many markets!), but didn't get to fully explore this beautiful Bavarian city.
Thank you. I have visited a few times and also done trips to Nuremberg. Im quite fond of German Xmas markets mostly because of the food :) Maybe I will try and head over there again later in the year. Have a lovely sunday, cheers from barnyz
Congratulations on the video, it was excellent, Munich is a wonderful city, I hope to visit one day. I started a channel here on UA-cam recently and record in the same way here in Brazil. I signed up, I will follow you from now on. A big hug!!!
An interesting thing about Munich is, that most of the landmarks you mentioned, are within walking distance of one another. The only odd one out would be the Olympic Center, but not by far. You could reach all of those by foot in an hour or two. Majority of the walking time would be getting to BMW and Olypmiapark though
Thanks for watching. I agree its a nice walkable city. I did use public transport for the Olympic Center and also for nymphenburg palace but looking at a map i could easily have walked to both as well. But Munich has such a great transport network it seems a shame not to use it :)
Excellent video my friend. We were in Munich just prior to Octoberfest. It's a beautiful city and the tall church with the twin towers was definitely a stand out for me. Very informative video and the mix of music and narrative is perfect. Best wishes guys and cheers from Shawn and Mai. 🍻🍻
thank you very much. Munich is one of my favorite cities that i have visited many times, so i'm happy to hear you have also been there and I look forward to seeing a video at some point :) Hope you have both having an excellent easter, cheers from barnyz
Wonderful city ! I can’t disagree with your choice of top 10 because we never been in Munich , but your choice seems very good Barnyz 👌 Well captured and edited! The architecture is awesome 🤩 Happy Easter 🐣 Weekend my friend Serge H&S 👩❤️👨🌈🇨🇦
Seeing this video reinforced my intention of revisiting Munich before long. The gorgeous pictures also reaffirm my opinion of a man who I heard telling his family that to him Salzburg was more beautiful than Munich. I had to refrain from calling him an idiot to his face.😅
Thanks for watching. Ive been to Munich a few times so I would definitely recommend revisiting and there is always something new and 8nteresting to see. I would also recommend visiting Salzburg as its a stunning city, they are close enough you can visit both on the same trip
Ok so my social studies teacher just assigned a project about buildings city’s inventions art esc… of the mideval times i whoud like to use this video as a source for the presentation because of how high quality this video is i definitely enjoyed this video… do you think you will do the city of cologne enyhow thanks please tell me what you think (im in 8th grade)

Hi, thank you for watching and commenting. I did not realise the automatic subtitles generated by UA-cam had so many errors in. I probably should have checked them more carefully rather than trusting they were ok. I have edited them. Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it.
Very professional guide. Thank you Barnyz. Munich is very beautiful!
Thank you Giuseppe, yes I agree Munich is wonderful 👍👍👍
I love Munich, I went there twice and I still miss it. Stunning!
Thanks for watching, I've been a few times and hope to go again someday 🙂🙂🙂
Best destination for explorers . Very informative video. You have an outstanding voice , keep it up 👍
Thank you 👍👍👍
A place to visit would be the Deutsche Museum. Quite a big museum with loads of interesting stuff there regarding vastly different areas of interest
good tip, i think its one of the few museums i have not visited in Munich so i will add to my list for my next visit
You were very clear with this new video friend! I was in Munich the end of last year. Have a wonderful year! Greetings from Rio de Janeiro!!!

Fabulous Munich! Well done, my friend 👍. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend 😀.
Thank you very much Haswell for the kind comment 👍👍👍
Awesome compilation. Munich is so amazing
thank you
Great video! I would have also included the Asamkirche, it is small but in my opinion the most awe-inspiring of Munich's many churches!
Thanks for watching. I very nearly did, it was a hard choice not to. I did visit and record the Asamkirche (im a big fan of baroque and rococco architecture) so i have the footage and info. maybe next time i need to make a top 15 or 20!
