What I like about these Puppet Combo games is how they build up to the horror. Like it's usually really boring stuff in the beginning but eventually when they decide to let the horror aspect kic in, it's often a good payoff.
The mundane stuff at the beginning convinces you that it's drawn from real life, making it scarier. That's my theory. As a young woman who has worked a graveyard shift 11pm-630am at a rural 24/7 convenience gas station alone for almost a year, this hit home for me. It was everything my worst nightmare was when I was working. When men ask you if you're all alone, it is very intimidating and scary. I had mace, a little stunner, a secret knife that I wasn't supposed to have and I would always grab a fish beater off the shelf to keep with me too. Thankfully I never really had any violent incidences, just awful ones. A druggie got blood on the wall in the bathroom, another tried to flush needles wrapped in toilet paper and clogged the toilet. I had creepers too though....the worst. You never know what their reaction will be. ugh Anyway, looking forward to the new PC game =D

I'm a woman (only mentioning bc comments said most are men, not exactly always true we had mostly women at mine) and worked there for a couple years and never really felt creeped out at all, even when occasionally covering 3rd shift. But I attribute that to the store being extremely well lit, inside and out, and there always being at least 3 or 4 people working. Plus there was a surveillance contractor that had like 30 cameras around the place. They worked hard on bolstering factors that deter robberies. I moved from my hometown but to my knowledge they've still never been robbed lol.
Woah, that jumpscare is intense, hahaha, just like BAM you're out! That was definitely really creepy though, just that subtle creak after having a relatively normal shift so far and then finding the back door open, ugghh, so creepy!
Bob Roberts other puppet combo games : powerdrill massacre, babysitter bloodbath (both of these games were made when they went under the name pig farmer games though - they weren’t puppet combo then), the night ripper & nun massacre. nun massacre is the newest game. they made this prologue and the actual game that follows this prologue (stay out of the house) is supposed to be out soon, i’ve played some of the different versions of that game and it’s came along super good.
Bob Roberts those are the bigger names games, some other ones that i can think of off the top of my head are spiders & feed me billy. there’s also planet of the bloodthirsty santa & blood maniac.. they’re both somewhat christmas themed horror games, those are all smaller games of theirs though, haven’t seen many people play those

Not if you live the 'States, it isn't. Every gas station I know of keeps a handgun or shotgun within easy reach under the counter. Hell, according to where the gas station is located it might also have bulletproof glass in the windows and around the register to protect cashier, a panic button that slams bulletproof glass and chain-link fence down over the register and all doors and windows while the alarm alerts the cops, and/or a cop car permanently parked in the parking lot to attempt to dissuade would be robbers.

Oh okay I didnt know animating a polygon dude could be so fine tuned in his speed of movement and stuff just in the most terrorizing way possible.... It really contrasts with the workaday stuff and the humour of it since I used to work retail for years like full time.
But yeah my point is, I'm about twelve minutes in and feel like I need to get into these devs' games immediately but for my nerves's sake I ... I might hold off lol ... this is excellent but it is a lot. 😣😣😣
