    It’s been brought to my attention that you may not be able to use the carriage bolts on 163 tunnels. I have done this mod without the carriage bolts, just using the two rivets and bumper bolts to tie it back together. I didn’t have any issues.. but it’s up to you! Thanks again for watching!

    i drilled out the rivets on my snow flap and have ran without it all year, easiest way to recreate the cut tunnel, and as long as you have a rivet gun and rivets it gos back on in a couple minutes no problem

      I like it! Still gotta get that bumper out of the way though! I would remove mine but it helps keep the sled cool especially when I’m hauling a ton of gear

    If you want more you could notch the flap bracket and flap around the cooler only downside it would not have as much protection against being bent on the upside you would keep all the cooling

    While you are at it, why not make your snowflap removable by using bolts with handle knobs and nylon locking nuts and washers? Id post a picture if I could.

    • @Rossxr
      @Rossxr  3 роки тому +1

      I don’t mind the snow flap to much! Here in the cascades we get lots of concrete snow and I struggle with cooling! Love the idea tho!

    Nice Rosco! Totally makes sense to me. How strong are those RMK tunnel to begin with? Landed few times back in my tra k hole bumper first and skis straight up. That would not be good with the side tunnel trimmed no?

    When you say you feel the tail end dragging. I would think leaving the flap defeats the purpose. Or does moving the bumper allow the flap to flex out of the way even more?

    • @Rossxr
      @Rossxr  3 роки тому +1

      because the flap moves and flexes you don't feel it as much. no flap is the best but I need it for cooling when I haul all my camera gear. and when snow is firm.

    • @Rossxr
