i had problems attaching the triangle roof pieces on the triangle frame @14:30 in video . 2 of 3 failed to i couldn't figure out what went wrong. Only the one left of the entrance would work.
This usually happens because of stability. When the triangle is close to 17%, you can’t place anything on top. You can check if there’s any missing wall or door frame in the base, or you can place a floor next to the base and the triangle, add the roofs, and then remove the floor, Let me know if it worked.
I finished building this last night and it turned out great but when I logged in this morning, I had the same issue as you did. The roof triangles on 2 out of 3 of my peaks, over my square honeycomb, disappeared off the triangle frame. I removed the doors to put them back up but they keep breaking. The triangle frames are at 9% stability. It will allow me to place them on the invisible side walls, making the walls appear again, but the roofs break on the triangle itself. Have you figured out a fix for your base?
@@G0DF47H3R_ I did not make all inside cross walls metal on the inside. Like the video in the video. Only thing i can think of that i might not have done. Did you make all metal walls where BaseSmith did ?
@@JackHammerHill Yes. I did every upgrade exactly. I later added a couple wall frames and made sure every socket that could accept a door frame had on in it. I added foundations and frames leading up to the peaks but, without making the side walls reappear, the triangles are still at 9%. Cool base idea but I think I'll just move on to a new build.
It’s three walls to TC from the weakest path through the walls. If you make all three layers HQM you can make it 48 rockets. If you left it all stone, it would be 12.
Also if you took doorpath, it would take 6 doors plus a vending machine (one door placed in slot with vending machine). One absolutely must be a garage door for jump ups. If it were all sheet metal with no vending machine, 6 rockets, if you had a vending machine plus armored doors and the one garage door, 38 rockets.
@@maschlau So 25 rockets to core. Everyone takes footpath these days! Still not bad, but I can see that they're at a lot of loot at door 2 or 3. Thanks for the clarification though, much appreciated.
That wouldn't bother me too much. You could always point a camera at your door or just put a campfire next to it and if your comfort goes past 50% you know someone is out there.

awesome base and video, im doing this base in my next wipe for sure
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Let me know how it works for you in the next wipe
If TC was a bunker this would be a godbase!! could it be possible? nice symetrie! love it
I tried, but if I added a bunker, there would be parts of the base with only two walls leading to the core.
Im gonna bulid this next wipe this base is the god base for solos
Appreciate it! Let me know how it performs for you in the next wipe
Am I missing something? I make it 11 rockets to core? Super cool design, but not very strong I don’t think.

What are you using to power it? Solar panels?
In this base, I used generators, but it’s possible to place a windmill or solar panels on the roof.
@@BaseSmith Thank you!
Is the vending machine tc thing able to be built on console
No good door camper peeks 5 of 10
