Creating Tobacco Smoke-Free Homes | Kochi Intervention for Tobacco Smoke-Free Homes (KIFT)

With an aim to mitigate smoking in homes, the Department of Community Medicine, Amrita Hospital Kochi initiated the Kochi Intervention for Tobacco Smoke-Free Homes (KIFT) in collaboration with the Corporation of Kochi, NHM Ernakulam, local self-governing bodies, and the State Health Department. With the support of Kochi Corporation and nearby panchayats, we included 17,000 members in the preliminary survey.
