- During these worrying times, we thought you’d like a short respite from social distancing, panic buying and herd immunity. So please join me and Philip Hodgson for a 1hr Q&A on topics raised in our book, Think Like a UX Researcher.
We spent the first 40 minutes discussing some key points from our book, and then we opened the floor to questions from the audience.
Thanks to Marco Kramer for handling the Q&A.
It is a 75mins of video and I'm only 23 minutes in, but I've already gained so many insights. I couldn't resist expressing my gratitude to David and Philip.
Thank you both so much! 🙏
I'll continue the rest of the video now.
Thanks, much appreciated. Glad you're enjoying it.
Ah, this is brilliant, David!
I was doing some research on Udemy looking for some courses under user research. I've been a software engineer for 10 years, but recently have definitively moved into product management... I've worked with user researchers before and UX'ers so feel like I have a decent handle on the idea of the discipline, doing research, etc. I've conducted some usability before, but I don't think I'd be able to call myself a user researcher just yet! This is exactly the content I was looking for, something that bridges the gap between the academia and theory behind psychology and behavioural research with the practicalities of bringing this into enterprises, getting buy-in and ultimately delivering values for businesses. Glad to have stumbled on your UA-cam channel, keep putting out the great content, and thank you!
I'm glad it was useful. For more detail on user research and the way it fits into product development, be sure to check out my Udemy course: uxtraining.net
