I've heard a lot of the jungle guns were missing the claning rods. the soldiers would remove them becucse of the rattleing sound they make. kinda fits the jungle style build you did if what I've heard was true

gas tube wood is wood not plastic?
Gas tube handguard is bakelite/fiberglass also on this one. Not wood.
