I think she was just trying to be strong for the people around her in that moment :) it's very very typically for mom's to keep emotional composure when their children are visibly expressing emotion because they know when they start crying the real waterworks are coming out of everybody! Everybody gon' lose it for real lol. If I'm crying about my mom, and then she starts crying, I'm not going to be able to stop - I would cry more! It's clear she was doing her best to keep it together so everybody else can keep their composure on national television! Of course, this may be specific to this culture as well. I was 17 when J. Kennedy was president. He was my all time favorite POTUS until Barack Obama. I have never seen a POTUS that was TRULY, AND ADMIRABLY a man who loved his wife and children like Barack. The Obama's were exceedingly rich without their money. I wish I had a husband that after giving birth to our children would look at me the way Barack looks at Michelle..
Sadly, after 3 children in less than 3 years, I maintained about 30 lbs over weight, mostly due to diabetes. My husband hardly looked at me for the next 12 years of our marriage.
I pray God that our husbands and boyfriends will learn to cherish his woman for who and what she stands for and not her weight. When American men (in general) love a woman for who she is and not her looks, we will have a nation of families that stay together,.

His rhetoric appealed to those who view the white race as being superior to any other. Also, a lot of the Democrats that didn’t want Hilary Clinton as president either decided not to vote at all, or voted for Trump thinking that he was a better choice than she was. They soon discovered differently, and that’s why they came out in droves and voted for Biden.
RACISM and LIES on Social Media...I am not the first one to yell..."racism" however, a lot of people who voted for Trump (not all) could not stomach having a Black man as president of the USA. But, he was president and there is no taking that back. These "particular" individuals felt like they were "losing something".
