About Nina Azucar
Nina Azucar is a DJ based in Brooklyn, NY who has displayed her talents for a diverse clientele across the city. Her creative aesthetic is all inclusive and celebrates the best from all musical genres, which stems from formal musical training and a rich cultural background that informs her style to this day. As a youth, Nina stayed abreast of trends in hip hop, house and alternative music by recording customized mix tapes, featuring choice song selections from her favorite radio shows, on her brothers boombox. This is the music of my childhood. Every family party, in the summertime, block party’s, Saturday morning cleaning with the curtain tied in a knot with the window open. The music coming out the windows as we played stick ball and chased Mister Softee. Great times.
