Franklin Saint is inspired by a combination of Whitey freeway & waterhead Bo. Whitey enterprise is the basis of the family. Water head bo like Franklin bus to school in the valley as well his connect was the Villabona family as in snowfall Franklin deals with Villanueva family. Also Franklin tie to Ross is that he is the richest dealer even though Ross may have been the biggest Water head had the biggest connect the CIA even said Bo moved 1500 keys a month. Louie & Jerome are based off Jemeker Thompson and her First husband daff. Skully was a real person from John singletons neighborhood as well. In snowfall skully will be the informant that turns against Louie as in real life Jemeker Thompson biggest buyer turn out to be a informant. fatback was also from singletons hood. As for season 4 the basis of the war was based off the war of 1984 between whiteys enterprise vs third world and there fight for control over who would run the cocaine in LA. There is a common theme to everyone of these stories, whether it's based on fact or fiction. The main characters seem to meet a very tragic ending all of the time. I could not tell you what it feels like to lose tens or hundreds of millions of dollars that is taken away by bigger criminals (gov). Even worse, what it's like to rot in prison indefinitely for the pursuit of wealth and a good life. It seems like the only way to escape this hell is to get off the playing field first.

Snowfall is a good show but there’s more they could’ve talked about instead of just the drama with Lou, Jerome, Teddy and random neighborhood hero’s. I wish they would’ve explored the story of Kiki Camarena somehow since he was DEA and killed by the CIA since his murder was also tied into the Nicaragua war. Would’ve also been nice to see the result of the war they were funding
