My go to besides banana shakes is broth. I will do broth b4 a meal and it helps prepare my body to eat better. A warm cup of broth and sometimes I add seaseme oil cuz it's yummy. And I'll wait 30-60mins b4 eating and drink it slowly. Usually thats enough that my body had time to get the idea ... especially after a fast or flare. My other favorite recently is i put olive oil in a pan and a bit or alot of curry powder and fry some eggs, if I can tolerate yogurt I eat the eggs over yogurt .. curry is best part. My version of Turkish eggs but instead of chili oil I do oil with curry in it. Great on bread or savory yogurt.

Here for it. I eat turkey sandwich and then rice and gravy for dinner and thought I'd burst. I usually only eat once a day but I was hungry and eat a sandwich for lunch too. Whole next day running to bathroom and my gas a burping has been the worst of my life last few weeks. I got a SoSoak chair and been trying to soak in Epsom salts more regularly. My issues cause my hemorrhoids to bleed really bad. But I dont want surgery until gastrointestinal issues r better because upper only makes the lower region angry. My scopes all fine except I have Barretts esophagus which apparently is related to sjögren's which I didn't know. I've had gastrointestinal issues since teen. Endometriosis and inflammation caused obstruction yrs ago. Figured was Endometriosis still but its mobility and not just scaring but when I move like signals sent to my gut r wrong. When I lay down like signals ho thru better maybe. So instead of rest at night my bowels wake up and as soon as I go to bed I'm running to bathroom the exact opposite of what my body is supposed to do

I had to fight to survive too. Pray ur doing well. I lived on 500 calories on my best days during my worst flare. Without my husband id not be alive. Days id not eat and on days i cud try id usual only manage 500 calories. God, my husband and a surgeon willing to take the blade for me anytime i get so desperate bought me enough time i can keep pushing for further diagnosis

Over yrs I've had to change my clothing just because of everything ur talking about. I'd be so uncomfortable and in pain clothing became difficult for many yrs and sometimes still is. Anything near my belly. From rib cage to below my hip bones hates touch. After getting married and having adopted and had some pregnancies and not being able to let my children touch my midsection without pain. 1 point my uterus was stuck to my back, over yrs my ovaries were not even in my pelvis anymore, my entire left side of colon and intestines stuck to abdominal wall completely undetectable by scans, appendix, kidneys, ureter, everything in pelvis, nerve issues over decades. In my 20s had 2 yrs where I cud hardly walk from pain wrapping around my hips. Syncope was my life from teen into adult yrs I wud pass out and broke my nose once from it. Sometimes random or trigger but mainly from gastrointestinal and period pain id black out. Decades later my hemorrhoids need surgery which I'm trying to put off. Be kind to ur nerves and blood vessels and diet ... not tgat diet is consistent... can go from eating to cnt eat anything to a moderate diet to any variation and its like it's not the food but me and hopefully with diagnosis I can better manage nutrition and digestion if I can stop what's actually upsetting me and food is only an issue if my body is angry and flared.

Few yrs ago was told I was anorexic and they wanted to put me in mental hospital on feeding tube saying it was in my head and just needed to eat. Uncontrollable lost over 70lbs and started wasting and no one wud listen and I had 29 apts, er visits, scopes, scans, procedures in just a single yr....every one i said i cnt eat, im in pain, i have a bowel obstruction and they wud scan and say its gas or constipation, almost ruptured my intestines in ER while being ignored and instead of rupture i just ended up puking up my intestinal contents after hrs of being ignored in ER and told to stop crying im scaring ppl. Thankfully I called my amazing obgyn and asked for abdominal exploratory surgery and he took me straight to surgery... found all my intestines stuck and lots of other crazy stuff inside me. 18 months starving in pain no one listened. I usually go to surgery b4 anything else now but something else is going on and until I can address it I'll keep ending up in same situations. I have endometriosis tgats deep and infiltrating into my abdominal wall and has mess with some if my organs. Had 5 surgeries and 5 organs removed over 15yrs. and waiting for further diagnosis..... lupus isnt seeming to be it but had biopsy showing nerve issues so leaning towards sjögren's

My bowel obstruction was lack of movement, then slowed down tgat part of gut and dry out and rest of my bowels wud go around the partial block so i present as diarrhea but not and the wrong drugs put me in emergency for drying out my intestines and making my situation 10x worse. My body cudnt go to bathroom at all. Tried to have "it" remived more tgan once at ER and their procedure making it worse 🙃 coffee and molasses enema with an obstruction not a great idea. I decided id suffer at home and manually do what i cud. I lived on my bathroom and bath tub and ive had 10 pain multiple times and nothing like normal body functions not working. I was told ur body just doesn't know how to poo and was sent to a therapist to instruct me on training my body to poo while in pain. Round and round for a very long time.

Spit up I call it.I just got this diagnosis a week ago. Finally I have tried every diet and doctor. I don’t understand the episodes for five days of severe bloat the most excruciating heartburn-anything I eat comes back up in my mouth as soon as I burp.I also have narcolepsy so I pretty much feel like a giant two year old all the time lol

I am so sorry you deal with some of the same issues! It’s not fun at all. I totally agree with feeling like a two year old sometimes!! Haha. It’s definitely hard to stay in a good mood when you always feel sick.

I was told by a gastrointestinal doctor after suddenly losing 70lbs and after a surgery find my intestines were stuck... after I saw him saying I still had discomfort and his rest was ur too smart for ur own good, ur so skinny u probably just feel ur poo moving thru ur intestines because ur skinny... uh no... I just had surgery where my intestines were encased in scaring and his response is im too skinny and sensative. 🤦‍♀️

Check to make sure your insurance has the correct diagnostic information so they will pay for colonoscopy.

For some reason the magnesium lotion has helped me the most.

I had salmon at 9pm last night and I thought I ate a whole horse. I couldn’t sleep. Felt like fatty food is not digested for me with Sjorgens

Hi Natalie! I just found your channel. I have your exact symptoms. My symptoms caused by severe anxiety. how was your test results? did you get diagnosed with gasteroparesis? Or do you feel better? How is your bloating?

Hi! I was actually diagnosed with gastroparesis, but also intestinal dysmotility which seems to be the main cause of my symptoms. I still bloat daily but it’s rarely as painful, and I still have other symptoms daily but they’re more tolerable with treatment. Good luck!! I hope you feel better soon 😊

Thanks for sharing! Not TMI at all! I can relate to a lot of what you said. I was eating almost only baby food pouches for a few months. I'm much improved and can eat a lot more, but am still irregular and have to tread lightly with my diet. Have you tried apple cider vinegar before meals? I hope your colonoscopy goes well!

I don’t think it is either, for me at least! I’m very open about these things since they affect me everyday, but I’m sure many healthy people don’t feel the same way. 😂 Ugh those flares are the worst, I haven’t tried baby food yet though but I’m sure it would be a good idea for me to look into those options for the bad days. I haven’t! Thank you.
