Seriously? His own coach took him off because his kicking was costing them the game. I absolutely believe he is one for the future, but only if he can concentrate for a full 80 minutes.
Tigers seem to have forgotten how to lose. Unlucky Bristol, you played a blinder. Just that one big error at the end cost you and when Leicester are in this kind of mood they will punish you big time.
To be honest, I think there ought to be a rule change. To be able to jump up and volleyball style knock it back in play from anywhere out of touch seems ridiculous, and could be overused. You should be only be able to knock it back into play (backwards) from jumping from inside the field of play regardless
Admittedly it’d be some teams over others, but imagine Fijian wingers abusing those rules and knocking it in from the stands from a kick which would otherwise be 10m into touch
Welcome back Semi. He had a quiet game , Just wished he had a clever 10 like Marcus Smith and a powerful 12 plus another FIjian in the wing . Naulago is still injured . All the best in the rest of the season bears. From a tigers fan.
Sheedy seemed to go down a bit easily after barely half a shoulder from Wiese. Milked that for all it was worth... so satisfying to see Leicester win anyway 😂
@@alexbarston1136 yeah of course it was still reckless by Wiese, if he'd caught Sheedy properly he'd have messed him up a bit. But if you're going to penalise Wiese for the reckless play you should at least also penalise Sheedy for simulation. A certain Nigel Owens would have taken a very dim view of it.
I thought players had to jump from inside the playing area when preventing a kick to touch? Makes no sense they can jump from outside the touchline to push it back into play
Last week Munster V Castres, De Allende had a try disallowed and no one could even see actual separation but the whole situation was identical to the Nadolo try except you can see the ball dislodge completely and yet he gets his try. Both English ref's, I think they need to have a sit down together and have a chat about the laws.
being allowed to stand off the pitch and play the ball with your feet off the ground has to be the stupidest law in rugby union. Great win Tiggers, and nice to stick one on Bristol after their shenanigans at the end of last year at Welford Road.
You can't catch the ball and take it on to the pitch, however so long as you're not on the ground you're technically not in touch and so long as the ball then leaves your hands before you land it's just a deflection in flight - however as it's not a charge down, it's possible for it to be a knock on
God leicester are absolutely demons this year! Haven't seen them like this for quite some time and have to say it's about time they returned to there best.
By letter of the law, its legal and the TMO says if he grounds with his torso or leg, its fine. Anyway, its about 20 stone worth of nadolo falling landing on it so its not gonna be dislodged.
You’re having a laugh right? He 100% loses control of the ball, and I don’t see his torso “grounding” the ball as you claim. The ball is off to his left side. He clearly loses the ball. I can’t believe that’s a try any day of the week, not in NZ anyway.
Wiese may be somewhat ill disciplined, but I have a feeling that he is also being targeted. This is based on a few instances and a couple of yellow cards that were not warranted.
Excited to see Leicester back to their formidable selves, and this is from a Quins man!……. but ultimately a rugby fan. 👏
I am a Tiggers fan but watch any teams play there is not that football mentality with rugby a great day out at any ground
The mentality of this Leicester team is unbelievable.
