- Based on manga series "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara (first published 2006 in weekly Japanese magazine Weekly Young Jump).
While Qin continues its constant battles to unify the region, neighboring country Cho suddenly invades Qin from the north. To fight against Cho, Eisei (Ryo Yoshizawa) places legendary General Ohki (Takao Osawa) as the commander-in-chief. Shin (Kento Yamazaki) admires Ohki greatly and his unit is named the Hishin Unit by Ohki. Shin and Ohki stand together at the battle on Mayang against Cho. Despite disadvantageous situation, they defeat the Cho military. Shin and all the members of the Hishin Unit are happy for victory, but a mysterious shadow approaches the Hishin Unit.

Someone in these comments said that this is the last film and quoted some words in Japanese that apparently appeared somewhere in the trailer. I can’t confirm or deny it but if it’s true, and it is the last movie I’m going to be very sad lol. I love the live actions.

@@richmargin6082 yep, also couldn't believe this was a live adaptation. They usually butcher these.
@@_Mayibongwe right? Overacting, cheap cosplay costumes, poor adaptation. These are the things that doom other live action movies. Only half way into the movie, it kinda reminded me of live anime with Ouki’s personality. But its the big battles. They look more like typical chinese action movies. Thats why this series looks more convincing
@@richmargin6082 yep, the only other live action to do it for me was Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, if you haven't seen that one.
