It's not a narrator :) It is AI auto generated. And it is really annoying listening to after 20-30 minutes, because it is so monotone and no feelings in the words.
I remember these when they had a British narrator, perhaps dubbed. I got hooked years ago when I caught one about how to make buttons, it was fascinating. Watched them ever since.
I only have one critique about the card episode, and it has nothing to do with the content at all. It's to do with the background music. The drummer went way too hard for some freaking cards😭

i really enjoyed this video, the way it breaks down the making of these games is fascinating! however, i can't help but think that the gambling industry relies too heavily on exploiting people's weaknesses. while the science behind it is cool, the impact on individuals and families is a serious concern that often gets overlooked. what do you all think?
this video was really fascinating and well put together! i never knew there was so much science behind playing cards and slot machines. but honestly, it makes me wonder if the gambling industry is promoting more addiction than entertainment. should we really be encouraging that kind of behavior?
i really loved the behind-the-scenes look at how all these games are made - it’s fascinating! but honestly, i feel like the whole gambling industry just promotes a pretty unhealthy relationship with money. it’s like, for every person who strikes it rich, there are countless others who go broke chasing that dream. what do you guys think?
This video was really fascinating and well-produced! Agreed! I love his voice.

because the lasers are contained inside of a bigger machine.
